Room is too small to stay. ”

I was stay that Nam De Gold Land Hotel from 3rd March to 7th March, 2019. I booked for three room with twin bed. The booking included with breakfast , coffee making and complimentary water bottle. Their photo shown in the agoda app is nice , clean and wide enough. When we arrived to the hotel, we got only one twin room and two single room. Twin room is wide enough but two single room is too small to stay. My room (no. 405) is very small and dirty. Bath room is also worst condition and shower outlet is above the toilet and one electrical outlet is behind. Toiodangerous for electrical shock. No water bottle is supplied for Room 403. We claimed to change the room but no reply. One good things at this hotel is their staff except bell boy. Breakfast is acceptable with chicken curry/ fried chicken. definately I don't recommand to stay at this Nam De Gold Land Hotel although the location is best in Ho Chi Minh.

Great first hotel for our stay”

We had the room with 3 double (queen?) beds advertised as king beds (king are much bigger in N America), with a window facing the front street. For us this was the perfect experience for our first night in Vietnam. When we woke up we could watch the city come to life from the window while other family members were still sleeping. There were ants in the room (tiny ones) that were mostly contained to the area near the fridge and garbage so they didn't really bother us. The bathroom and room were clean but not immaculate - like any cheaper hotel room in Canada. No breakfast included for us but that was fine because we wanted to try the street food anyways and it was right around the corner. We would have stayed another night or two but the room was already booked. They showed us other rooms that were available but they were less appealing with small dark rooms and small windows (or no windows). Oh and the beds were very comfortable.

My stay was well . The rooms are comfortable and clean . Near city center . The staff were helpful , breakfast buffet . I will recommend this hotel .

Good for the price”

This was a good little hotel right in the heart of HCMC. For the price it is a very good choice. The breakfast was Asian, so if you are like me and like Asian breakfasts it was plentiful and good. The only real problem was the wifi did not work other than in the lobby. It was frustrating to run down to the lobby to use it throughout the day. We would stay there again as it was very convenient.

The hotel was well located, and easy to find. The room was large, had a comfortable bed, and balcony. The real bonus was the bathtub! It was overall clean, and the staff was friendly! I'd stay again if I was in Saigon.

Value for family only as they provide up to 2king and 1queen beds for 6paxs. Room is small but enough to sleep only. Hotel is old. Location is excellent within walking distance. Walk into alley opp have a laundry shop Vnd20k = Usd0.90 per kg exclude ironing.

Stayed for 4days with family. 5 adults with 3kids. I booked the family room with 3king size bed as the agoda/hotel says. In reality the room has 2 queen size and 1 double bed (don’t get fooled by agoda/hotel description). room, bathroom and furnitures are old. Space is small. aircom is not working properly so its look like we just booked a fan room. I don’t recommend this hotel. Try hotel outside district 1. You’ll get better hotel/service apartment with the same price of this room. Staying outside center should not be an issue because grab/ taxi are cheaper. Breakfast is buffet but we only appreciate the egg and tasty. I want to shout out my disappoint to this hotel!

It look like a very modern hotel from the photo, but in fact it's much much older than expected. The room is not clean, bath-tub/basin water flow is slow. The basin water smell funny. We booked double-bed room, however they just combined 2 single bed into 1, and the mattress is sinking. The receptionist only able to speak minimum English and not very informative. Their air-con work well anyway. Overall, we do not like the hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location - it’s near Bui Vien area and also in a very happening street where you can find good food and shops. The room is very dirty and super small and without windows. The aircon was not working properly and when we asked the staff to help us fix it, they treated us like that was the first time we ever used an aircon. It took about two hours for the room to feel cool (not even cold) - you have been warned. There was this big broken black hotel on the bathroom ceiling which was so ready to fall down anytime. After a night there, we changed the hotel the very next day. That was our experience. We hope you have had better experiences with this hotel.

room listed during was 30 square meter, but the actual room is more like 22 square meter. the picture on agoda looks great, but reality is not the same. decent room. hope they would be more honest about the room size and actual looks and feel.
