Nice stay”

Guesthouse was nice. The room was clean. Located near main road but not near the party zone so you can sleep at night. Nearest 7-eleven is 150m away. The beach nearby is not that nice, but if you hire a motorbike you can discover other beaches around the island. Would recommend.

Great middle of the road guesthouse”

I really enjoyed my stay at My Palace. value. Rooms spacious and clean. location, nicely situated between Haad Rin and Thongsala. Owner, very kind and accommodating.

Clean room and very friendly owner”

The room is big and very clean. Value for money. The owner is very nice. She was giving me so many advice. The guesthouse is close to beach. The beach is just ok. Not white sandy and the water is not crystal clear. From the pier you need to take taxi about 15 mins to get there.

Not in the center but on this island you may rent a scooter to be free and visit, so this hotel is nicely located between the center at 8min and haad rin at 12 min. big in room with fan (or A/C if you pay more) quiet, with a restaurant in high season, with good prices. Nice cats also :) have 7/11, ATM, bar, restaurants close. Close to the party hostel echo were you can go party .Close to the waterfall parties (2 days before and after full moon party)

Overpriced for FullMoon tourists”

I get that this is probably the time of month for these places to make money etc but I did feel that it was genuinely exploitive. We paid 1500bht for 1 night and it really didn't feel worth it. It's a very outdated place and the bed didn't have an actual blanket, but rather a thin sheet that was over a plastic covering so it made noise everytime you moved. It's very basic, has a shower with hot water and a bed but nothing else really so after spending time on Koh Samui and Chiang Mai, I felt this was really a waste. If you're going to full moon and don't want to blow a budget on crappy accommodation, rather stay on Koh Samui and ferry to the party, there are other ferries through the night(every hour) so you can leave anytime. But the prices for the party are crazy.

My Palace Guesthouse is expensive and STINGY!”

This place is really cute, a big place for a couple, huts seating places outside, situated in the middle of the Thongsala pier and Haad Rin, very near the beach. HOWEVER, they wouldn't even let us have new plastic bags to replace the ones in my dustbin in my room (just a normal anything-would do plastic bag?? Are you kidding me??), for blankets, they don't use comforters, they don't use a blanket, they use a thin piece of bedsheet so when it gets cold at night, well, it gets cold. I had to really state my case why I needed another "bedsheet"...Damn... And OH! The worst part of all, I thought I booked a hotel INSTEAD of backpackers so that I can feel like home a little bit, but they don't even have a boiler/ or a kettle outside our room. So when we wanted to eat or drink something simple in the hotel, there was no fucking way. So instead, we had to spend exorbitant amounts of money by buying food from 7 eleven in case we get hungry at night. Staying here made me waste CASH unxpectdly

Overall great stay! The owner is great at giving you suggestions on what you can do during your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and great value for your money

Very basic”

Very basic room, have stayed in a lot nicer and paid less for it (and got an aircon!). We stayed in a fan room for 4 nights, we expected the heat but did not expect the room not to be cleaned once throughout our stay. The main issue is that the bins do not get emptied and 4 nights and days in that heat caused the room to smell very unpleasant. The location was okay, a short ride to the fullmoon party beach but if your not going to fullmoon I wouldn't recommend as there is nothing around the area and taxis are expensive. My final complaint was the service and staff, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel before we left for our boat (not included with the room). We sat at table for at least 15 minutes waiting to get served and were ignored the whole time, staff walked past us waiting and decided to ignore us! we also witnessed them do this to another group at a table near ours. This resulted in us getting on a long boat journey with no food. Very disappointed.

Dirty room”

We couldn't stay at this room. We ended our booking early and stayed somewhere else because this room didn't look clean at all and had a LOT of bugs inside. There were ants everywhere, a huge dead spider lying in the middle of the bathroom and cockroaches. The staff wasn't very helpful with this and I had to contact Agoda customer service to get my money back. There's plenty of better places to stay close by.

Excellent”

Perfect location in between fool moon party and city. Close to city night market and both sites of island. Clean, worth for money. Can recommend.

The location is not the one on the map ! ”

The location the agoda website shows in the map is not the actual location. It's 5 km down the road on another beach..we booked this accommodation because it was close to the ferry, been looking for 2 hours to finally find it.

No friendly receptionist”

As many times, thai people are bored about tourists, they dont treat you well, and they dont care about you, specially in the south islands. Here isnt the exception. Atleast is clean, lot of space in the rooms.

The stay was wonderful, staff was very friendly and food was good.

Above average”

They didn’t clean our room during our 3 night stay and it got pretty dirty. The lady seems to be nice but she wasn’t helpful at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

Tooth”

Stay was overall ok Found an old tooth in one of the drawers and the showering facility wasn't great, always getting blocked and so on. Wifi poor and sometimes non existent but the room was a very good size

So-so”

Poor wi-fi, bad toilet. Fresh towels once a week.

Nice .. Just don't be loud after 11 cause you will be to put it down in a really rude way
