5 stars hotel with modern equipments. It's located in the center of Vinh city, 8km far from the airport. It's a little bit far from the hotel to the beach and Hochiminh's country but very easy to take a taxi or bus. The staffs were very friendly and nice attitude, they helped us to find restaurant and everywhere to go. Muong Thanh Song Lam is the best 5 stars Hotel in Vinh you should choose!!!

Enjoyable stay but the room was too small”
I have gotten a really good deal at the hotel (Thanks Agoda 😝). Overall the hotel is probably the best quality you could find in this city, but don't expect it to be an international 5star hotel. It would fit a 3.5/4star category. The staff is the best asset of this hotel, ask them anything and they'll try their very best to help you. The rooftop bar is also a big plus, the highest rooftop bar in town and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Recommended for your stay in Vinh.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I have been travelling quite a bit and had not been to Vinh before. There was not a lot of sightseeing to be done around Vinh, although it is Ho Chi Minh's birtplace. So I took the opportrunity to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel which are splendid. The staff were friendly and more than helpful

It was really a nice and clean hotel than we expected. Full window in the room provides wonderful city view on Vinh. Big C shopping center also close to the hotel. The best thing of the hotel is reasonable price. Restaurant, room service and sky-bar wss also nice.

It is the first time I stayed at a Muong Thanh Hotel but I was very happy. All staffs are friendly. Room is vey clean. Only air condition does not have warm function. It has only cool and dry. Will be very nice in the summer but not so nice in the winter.

This hotel was worth the stop over in Vinh on the long train ride to Hanoi from Hue. Very happy I did it. Just a couple $ taxi fare from the train station, you could walk it, maybe 1.5+miles. Very friendly staff and the hotel was a delight, very classy room, luxury!

staff is super friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay awesome. The hotel room was very clean and very comfortable. Best you will probably find in Vinh The Spa facilities are lacking. As they don’t have personal massage rooms and instead a room with a bunch of massage chairs set up.

great value hotel”
I booked a superior room for my husband and I for two nights. It was a great value. The room was comfortable and clean, and a nice modern design. We had nice big windows with a view of the city of Vinh as well as the mountains in the distance. There is a swimming pool and jacuzzi in the hotel, and it was quite busy there in the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was really nice in a spacious restaurant.

After 6 months of backpacking we were totally worn out, one night in this place totally revived us! Amaaaaazing! (We got a room for 20 EUR, normally 54). Vinh itself is terrible though!

Vinh is not an interesting city, stay at the hotel, do some relaxing and eat at the modern table bbq restaurant-7min walk. Don't expect 5star, expect 4 and then you won't get disappointed. Good value for money

Comfortable stay in a convenient location”
On our visit, the hotel had only been open for a month and staff and systems were still settling down. No hot water in our room on arrival, but very quickly rectified. The door entry card kept malfunctioning both to our room and in the lift. Eventually sorted out. The pool is magnificent and we enjoyed and hour or so on a very hot afternoon there. But at about 3 pm, they opened it to the public and hundreds of very noisy local families took it over. There were very officious life guards on duty shouting and blowing whistles constantly. If we were paying 5 star prices we would have been extremely annoyed, but we paid a very discounted rate. Breakfast was very good. Few staff speak good English but tried very hard to be helpful.

A five stars hotel costs three stars hotel!!!”
Hotel and it's location are ok generally. Price is very very acceptable for that kind of hotel if you have plan for Vinh. The conditions, furnitures look poor quality and down grade if i compare the current ones with opening ones some year ago. The outdoor swimming pool usually have many kids with coach teaching swimming there in the Summer and everything is not clean as a five stars hotel should be. Massage service is poor if you want to have a relax time when tired - staff does not know skills... Anyhow you will give your decision to stay there because of a very attractive price. I will book MTSL again next time.
