Amazing facility”

If you go to Palawan, don’t stay anywhere else. Munting Paraiso, which means Little Paradise in Tagalog, truly lives up to it’s name. The facility grounds are perfect with a well-landscaped layout which is very pleasing for walking. Each bungalow has it’s own hammock and a porch that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink. The pool is the nicest I’ve seen at a summer resort. The staff could not be more helpful and the dining facility serves a great selection of cuisine. There is even a workout facility which is not typical of your normal Puerto Princesa resorts. It is a short drive from the airport and tucked away in an area where it’s very quiet. Little Paradise”

Munting Paraiso is a very relaxing, beautifully designed and landscaped boutique hotel, less than a year old. The owners live on site and take great pride in their operation. It is very private and the staff are super helpful. On a tour to Honda Bay, my wife was bitten by an unseen insect, and when we returned to Munting Paraiso and she showed her swelling foot to the front desk, they suggested she visit the local hospital to get it checked, just in case. They then drove us to the local emergency room in the hotel van, and the driver waited a couple hours to take us back to the hotel. The next day the restaurant staff knew the type of bug (a "nik nik" which is a sand mite) it was from seeing the swelling, and helped my wife with a traditional medicine of boiled guava leaves, which greatly reduced the swelling and itching. We would love to return to Munting Paraiso in the future, to enjoy the very relaxed atmosphere there.

Great place and great staff!”

The concept and layout of Munting Paraiso is exactly what our family looks for when on vacation. Each bungalow allows for ample space, quiet and privacy. Add all the surrounding plants and flowers and the place provides for a perfect retreat after all of the day's tours and activities. The wifi connection was up to speed (a must since our kids can't let go of youtube and their games even when on vacation!). Our kids also loved the pool and trying out the equipment at the small gym. We ate at the resort only a few times as we wanted to try the other famous restaurants in town. But we had no complaints the times that we did eat there as the food was good and the ambiance was perfect for capping the day with a bottle of wine. All of these facilities were serviced by an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff which really helped in making our stay in Puerto Princesa a truly special one.

Exceptional”

Munting Paraiso is located relatively farther from the city proper than most accommodation in Puerto Princesa. While this may be an issue if you often have things to attend to in the city, it also means you can have a very peaceful stay especially since the ambiance of Munting Paraiso allows for such introspection. The staff are very polite and helpful as well.

Paradise it is!!”

True to it's name, Munting Paraiso is such a paradise!! Spacious room, nice ambiance, quiet place and you'll feel you are close to nature because of the trees around the place. We loved it there! Will definitely recommend it to friends/families who will visit Puerto Princesa. The owners and the staffs are accommodating and polite as well! We would love to come back there. :)

This place sets the standards for all others. Munting Paraiso was truly amazing. We were so sad to leave. We had absolutely no complaints and will definitely stay here again if we travel back to Puerto Princesa. Perfect for couples.

2 nights stay”

This property is very clean and as close to American standards that I have seen. The property is laid out well and kept up very well. The bungalos are charming and the lush green landscape makes a great backdrop. Nice touch with a mosquito net on the bed, showers have hot water, mini bar with complimentary essentials and upcharge for other sundries. The property is set back in a very quiet part of town, so you don't have street noise. Staff is pleasant. If there is only one thing to say about Munting Paraiso, the food service is slow perhaps because they cook to order and don't keep things hot since they don't turn tables like a busy restaurant. Otherwise the food is good.

Really is a Paradise”

It lives up to its name "Munting Paraiso" (which translates to Little Paradise) First i would like to commend the staff for letting us checked in early because we came from El Nido Second, the room is excellent! For the price you pay, you get more than you pay for. The signature duyan and veranda is a nice place to relax. Third, facilities are great, pool i clean and good, wifi is fast and food is good.

Wonderful Place, Literally a Little Paradise in Puerto Prinsesa”

We had a wonderful time at Munting Paraiso. I wish we could stay longer than three nights! It's very romantic, I feel like we owned the place since it was very quiet. The pool was amazing, the staffs were very nice and welcoming, the room was very spacious, aircon worked fine too. Will definitely go back here one day! :) They also have a restaurant where you can get nice food with a romantic feel. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic facilities ”

The hotel is quite literally a "little paradise". The hotel rooms were incredible and fantastic size. They are more like apartments than a single room which was incredible. Everything was beautifully setup and fantastic quality. The rooms were immaculate and fantastic price! The pool was great to relax in and close to all the apartments. The staff were very friendly and there to help out with whatever is needed. The restaurant is beautiful and so peaceful. The food is good price and high quality. The hotel is in a great location and close to the airport - only a 10 minute tricycle ride. If you are in Puerto Princesa this is hotel is a perfect stay. Well recommended.

Private resort”

We stayed at this resort for 2 nights recently and were absolutely surprised by the quality. The staff - as is often the case in Asia - is genuinely friendly and helpful (special thanks to Joanna), the bungalows are specious, modern and feel like your private 'home' and the pool is a real treat after an exhausting day. We loved the small lounge on our terrass! Breakfast was not included and did not impress us, so this could be improved. Location was not ideal either; a bit far from the center, but then again, PP does not have so much to offer and a trike costs 50 pesos, so not an issue. To summarize, Munting Paraiso is a very nice hotel and excellent value for money. Warmly recommended!

Wonderful”

We had wonderful time at Munting Paraiso. It is very quiet and cosy place to stay, suits for family and small group to stay has the privacy space. All of staff are wonderful and helpful, and they booked a very delicious birthday cake for us. Thanks again

Absolutely amazing”

We honestly wasn't expecting such grand service. The staff were unbelievable, super friendly and very well informed. There aren't many places my girlfriend approves. This was definitely an amazing hotel. We truly enjoyed our time in Puerto Princess staying here. We will for sure return to the Philippines because of Munting Parasio's hospitality!

Amazing”

This hotel is beautiful and they have semi private villas which is great for its price range as well. The location is good and the service is great. We had a super late check in at around 12am as we were travelling from El Nido and they were accommodating to our needs and allowed us to check in at such an unusual hour. The staff are also very helpful! If i visit Puerto Princesa again, would definitely stay here again! Recommended! 👏🏻👏🏻

A green and tranquil oasis in the middle of Puerto Princesa”

Brandnew installation, amazing swimming pool, surrounded by ancient trees, big well equipped rooms, comfortable beds and large shower, with a hammock at the terrace. Complementary pick-up from the airport. We would like to mention the lovely, helpful and competent receptionist Johanna May Flores. Best place to stay in Puerto Princesa.

Cozy and confortable for vacation”

The room’s decoration was very romantic. We can spend our whole night sitting on the chair outside our room. The staffs here were all friendly and passionate. Although we got some problem of the toilet and bathroom, I thought they will solve it soon. I recommeded here to every couple who would like to spend their vacation in Puerto Princesa.

Just lovely”

Our accommodation was just perfect. A “large” beautiful and well equipped room. The pool an essential for the heat. The staff were wonderful, organising any needs. Puerto Princesa being an exceptionally clean and wide-streeted exciting town with many amazing restaurants and exquisite timber crafts.

Beautiful grounds and rooms”

The grounds of the hotel are great. Doesn’t feel like you are downtown Puerto Princesa. Nice and quiet, yet very close to airport and good restaurants. Rooms are very big and nice and clean with a great patio area. Hotel staff are very kind and helpful

Place to be in Puerto Princesa”

Very nice and comfortable place. Staff are very friendly and provides personalized service. Only 12 villas, so not crowded. Staff will try to fulfill all requests you have with a smile. Definitely, when we come back to puerto princesa, we will book the same hotel. Highly recommended.
