Great place to stay”

We enjoyed staying here. Booked for one night but ended up staying 3 more nights! Nice staff, close to Haad Rin pier, virtually around the corner and had bike rentals and we got a room right on the beach so was sweet for us!

Good modern rooms, but no other services”

In the heart of haad rin, 200 m from pier and its (ok) beach, 5 minute walk to main (beautiful) beach. Room was clean and newish with balcony and working airconditioning.there was television with foxtel and Western toilet. No safe in room, and no cupboard really. In the first room our hot water didnt work and we were promptly moved to another clean room. We were a group of 3 backpackers so we were pretty impressed. Its a guest house so there are no other services offered but room, however you are right in the middle of town so everythign you could need is avaliable.

A Gem for the money”

Stayed two nights at black and white guesthouse for the black moon party. The guesthouse has a great pool with a view out to the ocean. Some other reviewers stated that it cost extra to use which is incorrect if you stay at the guesthouse. If you stay at black and white bungalow you will have to pay though. Our room was big, clean and quiet which was perfect for us. The owners also have their own mall. Some reviewers stated it was more expensive than other Marts close by, but our experience was that it was about the same. Also very convenient for buying some beers to have by the pool. The guesthouse also had a fairly fast and free internet connection compared to Koh Tao. Owners were friendly, relaxed and helpful. In summary. If you manage to get a good price at the guest house, go for it. Best rooms are the once closes to the beach which also have an extra door you can open and watch the sea from the bed from.

Fresh and good location”

i booked the sea view superior room and i really liked it! i even extended my stay for a couple of days because it was so nice. having a fridge and safe in the room feels really nice, and it took about 10 minutes to go to haad rin beach which is the place you want to be. i'd recommend anyone to go here! even wifi in my room! the only thing that is a downside is that there is no pool or decent restaurant. but you really don't need it!

Cheap room for temporary stay”

Adequate for a night or two stay, particularly if you spend most time away anyway. Within walking distance to Haad Rin West where you can board a commuting boat to Koh Samui.

Decent hotel, okay location”

The hotel was about 10-15min walk from Haad Rin beach (full moon area) which allowed for a decent sleep at night. The rooms are quite spacious and come with balcony's, but do get quite sandy/messy overtime. Overall this place would be about a 6/10

"Nice and clean with great location"”

Probably the cleanest and one of the nicest furnished places we stayed in in Thailand. Although i think we paid alot of money this was due to the high demand of NYE Koh Phagnan. And im sure the hotel is normally much more reasonable. All the hotels are the same in this period. We even got Corrie on the TV lol

good quiet hotel for backpackers in centre of KP”

good location just near had rin pier and close enough to the centre of the action BUT far enough from noise. only 4minute walk to full moon beach and along the way is shops restaurants and more.

Quiet place by the sea.”

I stayed in black and white for about 10 days. The lady who runs the guest houses is really nice and service oriented. Price is 800BHT which is really ok. I got the bungalow right next to the ocean(10 meters away!). You will hear the ocean during the night which is amazing and see unbelivable sunsets from the porch. The room is big and has a double bed and a single bed. The double bed is REALLY hard so if you have bad back, sleep on the single bed. The bungalows has good A/C and hot water. Free WiFi doesn't always work. It's 5 minutes walk from sunrise beach and 5 seconds from sunset beach. I'll come back for sure. Friends told me that other bungalows near-by are the same price and look exactly the same. i'd say this is bagpacker price which gives you more.

Nice hotel 15 minutes walkfrom hadrin”

The walk to hadrin becomes anoying since its 15 minutes each way and you tend to go their often. we would go atleast 3 times a day so thats about 90 minutes of walking there and back every day! from speaking to others we found you can get similar hotels closer for the same price. nothing wrong with the hotel, just the location.

This side of Haad Rin is being massively developed and I'm sure this place was decent a few years back but not anymore. A view of Samui, a pool. Awful bed, crappy smelly bathroom. Threats on the wall re damages. Even their shop just make the prices up as they go along. A favourite with Israelis.

Great location and value.”

Only 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and 10 minutes from sunrise beach, this is a very coveniently located guesthouse. The facilities were perfectly acceptable for the price with reasonably appointed rooms. The owners were very kind and flexible with my checkout requirements.

Rooms at guest house like in jeep tours”

This guest house, the location is fine 10 minute walk from the full moon party. Rooms at guest house accommodation jeep tours place is quite dark street. When there is a power outage on the island then wait at least 24 hours then travel to quite dangerous in the dark Owner a little stressful, demanding money for everything, like towel becomes dirty, clean room is not a trivial matter, have access to the store room to the owner under the key and ask to clean the room. Gasthaus quite neglected and level of staff and guests together, I understand why not renovate the place ... Distance guesthouse has a massage, travel agency and hair salon. You can get more immediate agency should you wish to do tours. There was room for four which suited us. In conclusion Guesthouse simple, right on the seafront, close to the full moon parties on foot, was relatively cheap online in what was likely money invested

Great location ”

I stayed here for3 weeks in total. I had a lovely large room on the second floor with fabulous views over to Ko Samui. The bed was large and comfortable. The swimming pool was great. There are only 4 Sun beds so you might have to go to the beach if they are occupied. Would stay again.

All around great place”

a very fairly priced hotel within walking distance to the fmp. owners are cool, there was a very friendly vibe here. exceeded our expectations

I you are going to this guest house on the full moon party i will recommend that you will take another hotel because this hotel is near the haad rin which hosts the full moon party so you wont be able to sleep well because of the loud music

Great spot, very quiet”

Nice spot right on the beach, extremely quiet but a short walk (2min) to Haadrin pier and surrounds. Pity you can’t swim in pool after 8pm as it was still hot. Good stay regardless
