Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free. Guests at the motel will be able to enjoy activities in and around National Park, like hiking. The nearest airport is Taupo Airport, 78 km from Mountain Heights Lodge. There are cleaning charges for a having a dog/pet stay, $20 small dog/pet $30 medium/large pet per night. One pet/dog per stay is allowed.

Clean and tidy rooms and warm, friendly staff close to ski field. Play ground for kids, Small shop for food and petrol and take aways just a short drive up the road in national park village there is no ATM machine nearest ATM is in Ohakune

Lovely place to stay with very friendly staff. Room was a great size, well presented with all amenities needed. Loved the electric blankets and good heaters. After a days skiing, the spa was bliss. Only down side was the road noise from the highway but nothing a pair of ear plugs can't fix. Would definitely stay again.

Good location for Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Skyline hike and more. Very friendly and informative manager/owner. Motel room was adequately equipped, including for occasional self-catering.

The room had everything I needed. comfortable bed, kitchen and hot shower. Hosts were friendly and efficient. However, the walls are thin and there was a lot of noise coming from the kids in the next door. The place could do with a spruce up but other than that, a great place to stay
