Spotless clean. Very helpful. Will book transport and give you local information. There was a wedding or party on across the road so we had merriment until early hours. Very busy road so woken up by traffic.

Nice guest house. The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a bit of smell in the room (lack of ventilation. It was funny because there was no cover sheet in the bed, just a blanket (I like to cover even it is warm) They also offered me a good breakfast and helped me arranging transportation (bus/motorcycle rental)

The room is clean and comfortable, owner and staffs go extra mile to help with requests. Unbeatable location, near bemo, tafril and Gunung Mas stop right in front here. Breakfast is good! You could request to leave your backpack here before heading to Wae Rebo. Thank you for making my trip to Ruteng memorable!

Lovely stay”

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed one night on the way to Wae Rebo and another on the way back from Wae Rebo to Labuan Bajo. The staff definitely made this stay very enjoyable. The staff and family were so lovely and friendly. We felt very welcome and comfortable here. The breakfast provided was delicious, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Staff also recommended a great resturant which helped as for us Retung was more of a stop over before Wae Rebo. We would highly recommend staying here!

Best place in Ruteng”

I was supposed to stay one night and finally stayed one week. The owner Marie really cares about the guests to feel good and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. They were really willing to help in any kind. The amenities are very good : huge bedrooms, very clean bathrooms, hot shower, good pression ! The shared bathroom is not a problem as it is very clean. You can also enjoy a really good japanese/indonesian breakfast, ask to use the washing machine or rent a motorbike. To sum it up this place is amazing. I totally recommand it.

Great value for money. The owner is a Japanese woman( and her husband) and she was very kind and booked a front seat in a bus for me from Ruteng to Labuan Bajo. Service!! Great and different breakfast since she is Japanese. Bathroom is spotless even though not attached. Nice family and willing to help. The only downside is there is no outdoor seating. But a lovely old home.

Very clean and comfortable stay”

This was such clean and friendly accommodation. The staff booked our bus for onward travel and we hired their motor bike to visit the Hobbit cave and rice fields.

Great Ruteng option”

This is a much better ovenight option in Ruteng than the alternatives, and I have checked out another place. The breakfast is refreshingly different and really good. Simple and spotless.

The guesthouse was super clean. The shower had hot water. The rooms were spacious and so clean! The family who run it are so friendly and helped us plan our day and rent a motorbike! Breakfast was also very good! Such great hosts!

A pleasant stay”

This guest house was simple yet nice and very clean! The family who own it are so friendly and kind. They got up and had breakfast ready for us at 6.15am so we could eat before our early bus. They also helped us negotiate a price with an ojek driver who didn't speak English. The location of the guest house is great as it's right in the centre of Ruteng, and close to Gunung Mas travel agency and local food warungs. The family will provide you with a map of the town and point out where places are, and answer any of your questions. There English is very good, which isn't always the case in accommodation around Indonesia. This is definitely the cleanest and best value for money accommodation that we've stayed in throughout the whole of Flores!

Good and clean place to stay for one night”

Very nice owner, place is clean which i din't expect when saw it for the first time from outside, only thing that i didn't like was the shared bathroom even though they were clean. i recommend this place.
