Everything within its reach”
I traveled solo for the first time and tried to search for a hotel that would be very convenient for me. I put my trust to all the reviewers and just hoped for the best. I booked Wyndham because according to trip adviser it was the number one hotel in Baguio and the reviewers mentioned that it is very convenient and the staff is very friendly. I came there last May, a peak season so I arrived along with many other guests. I was so tired from my 4 hour plane journey from Singapore and the 8hours trip from manila (straight with no sleep at all). But the staff in this hotel are all very efficient and friendly. They did all check in's very swiftly regarded all my queries patiently and i get to rest immediately because of them. I thought i'd still wait for long time due to high volume of guests. My room as big enough for me. It was very comfortable and the bed was not too soft and not too stiff so it gave my body the rest it needed. After my nap I went to the front desk to ask where SM Baguio and session road were. The staff gave me vivid description and I had no trouble finding the places. The bus terminal, eating places, sm baguio were all just a walk away from the hotel. I regret that i forgot to ask the names of the staff that helped me so i can commend them as well but i feel that wyndham trained all their staff well and that they are all equally efficient. Thank you Wyndham! definitely will be staying with you if I go back.

Highly recommended hotel!”
This hotel is just beside victory liner, so it's very much convenient. Due to an unfortunate circumstance, we were able to leave manila late afternoon and of course have arrived in baguio late evening to midnight. Good thing this hotel is just beside the bus station so we were able to locate and walk to it right away. The hotel staff is also very much pleasant, helpful and accomodating. This extends to the staff and manager of Te Quiero, where we had plenty of requests but they gladly give in to it with a smile on their faces. I have heard mix reviews on the breakfast buffet they are offering and i think i know why. It's because they serve different dishes everyday (stayed 3 days, 2 nights) so it's possible that if you are not a fan of the dishes of the day that you will end up not liking it. But honestly, i appreciate it since they try to not be monotonous, plus they offer one dish of fish, chicken and pork so you can be picky. Anyways, you can have cereals or bread or fruits or eggs (cook to your preference) if you don't fancy their offered dish. It's great value for money since it's free and was bundled to your hotel accomodation. Forget the complimentary bottled water, this hotel offers unlimted water, ice and coffee. At first, i thought this was just a small thing but realized when we were checked-in in a different hotel that we kinda missed it. I am a thirsty all the time person and also loves coffee so this hotel is just perfect. Very convenient access to it is just amazing. Don't ever leave baguio without trying this hotel, experience it for yourself. if you ate staying in baguio for couple of days (just like us) and already has a preffered hotel, just try checkin in at Microtel for at least one night and i'm sure you'd want the rest of yor stay to be in it. I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends who will be going to baguio in the coming months.

Microtel stay is a-okay”
My stay was great. It made my birthday a wonderful experience considering that Baguio City is under Typhoon Signal #2.The staff were so courteous that they made you feel you were there previously, like they know you already. They will provide you with everything you wanted as long as it's doable. The room was superb...it's so cozy that you just wanted to just curl up in bed because of the weather. The bedsheets were clean and smelled good. Most of all, the best thing about it was it's location. It's near to every place you can think of going because taxi cabs were just around waiting to be flagged down. If you don't have a car, and just got in by the Victory Liner bus, you don't need to get a ride to get to the hotel, a bridgeway going to the hotel just made it easier for everybody. I just can't wait until my next visit to Baguio... I just do hope Agoda and Microtel still have collaborations on hotel rate discounts..for me, it's a wonderful partnership... Congratulations!

Close to Perfect Vacation”
I will definitely recommend this place. Very nice and couteous staff / people. Easy to approach and always smiling. Convenient to stay because near SM City Baguio Mall (walking distance for about 10 - 12 minutes), near gasoline station ( Caltex ), near Cafe by the Ruins ( 2nd branch - Upper Session Road) and Marios Resto. Parking is the best, they have several parking areas front and back. Unlike other hotels, very inconvenient / hassle. Center of all tourist destinations. Over-all, I am very very happy during my 4-day stay. Highly recommendable hotel. Rooms are very spacious and the breakfast buffet is really great. Love also the room view of the mountains of baguio. Free water stationed at the hallway. Free flowing coffee also at the hotel lobby. We will come back again here at Microtel :)

Comfort. Convenience. Value for Money”
this was my first time to stay in a microtel property and if all properties are like the baguio, i would definitely use microtel wherever they are available. my boyfriend and i went on a random trip to baguio, taking the 115am deluxe coach of victory liner which arrived in baguio at 5ish. the front desk man explained to us that early check-in is subject to room availability but gladly informed us that they can accommodate our request. then he asked another staff to assist us with our luggage, who also made sure that everything was in order in the room. during our stay, we noticed that the sheets and bathroom linen are crisp and clean, rooms and common areas are well maintained. brewed coffee, filtered water, ice machine, and friendly staff complement the nice homey ambience at the lobby. aside from good service, location is another factor when choosing a hotel. microtel is conveniently located right beside the victory liner terminal. it is a stone's throw away from cabinet hills (government vacation houses) and sm baguio. it is within walking distance to the food joints along session road, the market, and the baguio cathedral. i would definitely stay again at microtel next time i am in baguio and would recommend the same to my family and friends.

The best location in Baguio!”
i lost count of how many times i stayed in this property. the rooms are not very luxurious, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. the staff members are what makes the microtel special. i take the victory liner bus from manila to baguio. there is a rest stop about 90 minutes before baguio, and often a staff member from the microtel there to pass out promotional flyers to generate business. stepping down from the bus, the person handing the flyers didn't look up until i said "i already have a reservation!" he looked up, and said to me "sir mike! welcome back!" staffer jr remembered my name from previous visits. that makes me feel important. i am a late riser and usually don't leave the room until noon or later, so that disrupts the housekeepers' routine. there is never a problem with that. thanks to housekeepers, gani, jr, sam and billy, and front desk arcie, hero, and noel, for tolerating my needs and always taking good care. the friendly, welcoming microtel family is amazing!

Family-friendly accommodations ”
Our experience was above satisfactory. What was described and shown on the website depicted our actual experience. The spacious and comfortable beds made our stay particularly relaxing and a good night's rest a guarantee. The accommodating staff during breakfast started each day just right, topped with the delicious food options. The cleanliness at the hotel and the smooth front desk transaction wraps up our great stay at the Microtel by Wyndham Baguio. Thank you everyone!

Great location with nice room and friendly service”
Had booked single room but the view wasn't great. Hence, top-up additional 500php/night to switch to a double room for a better view of Baguio City. Everything about this hotel is great except for the hot water shower system. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The seating by the window was sweet. The staffs were friendly. The breakfast was good. The free flow of ice was great. Everything to compliment, nothing much to complain. Microtel Hotel is my number 1 choice in Baguio City from now on.:)

Good service, great location”
Microtel is connected to the Victory Liner bus terminal by a bridge on the terminal's second level leading to the street level entrance of the hotel which is very handy. hotel and bar staff are very friendly and will help even with special requests like flower set-up for our room as my surprise for our second anniversary. the restaurant serves authentic and delicious tapas, try out their set menu for the day for its good value. the hotel doesn't offer the best views, but they're one of the few hotels in Baguio City that provide air conditioning as standard, if the cold is not enough for you during the hottest of summer days. rooms are very clean and excellent. WiFi is not for free, though, so we did not bother trying. free flowing water, ice, and coffee at the lobby any time of the day. water at the tap inside the toilet is not potable. hand sanitizers provided near the elevators, something you don't see in most hotels, big or small. excellent stay overall and we'd highly consider this hotel in our next visit.

A place to come back to”
living fast tracked lives, my better half and i make it a point to take a few days off each year, to trek to baguio. this has been going on for the last five years and invariably, we have always stayed at the microtel. its a great place to relax. should you so desire, you can rest all day in your very comfortable room undisturbed. the staff are courteous and are with a smile, readily available to help out in whatever way they can. the location is very convenient being hiking distance to the city center. and with the addition of the new restaurant, the added option for a quiet dinner or a nightcap at the hotel premises has been added. for us baguio and microtel are indeed places to come back to.

Great Hotel for Everyone!”
My boyfriend and I decided to stay in this hotel for my birthday last July 17, 2017. The room was very clean, the food was nice, staff are polite and kind. My further reviews can be seen on my blog https://tobesocialworker.wordpress.com/2017/07/30/microtel-inn-and-suites-by-wyndham-baguio/

The best location in Baguio!”
I've been to the Microtel more times than I can count, so I always get a "welcome home" when I arrive. The hotel is attached to the Victory Liner terminal, so often no need to cross the street. There is no onsite restaurant, but deliveries or a walk to the mall is easy. The SM mall, now the business center of Baguio, is just a five-minute walk away. The "downtown" area of Session Road, and on to Burnham Park just a few minutes farther. Wear good walking shoes! Everything in Baguio is steps and hills. Streets are quite safe, but use the same cautions you would use in any city. Suite rooms, with a queen bed, and sofa (sleeps two more) are a bargain because they include refrigerator, microwave oven, and (instant) coffee equipment and supplies. The view from the suites and double rooms, over the charming Marcoville barangay, and the mountains behind is amazing! Internet access is very expensive, and the wireless signal is poor. I suggest you purchase a USB internet gadget from one of the telephone/internet companies. All are available at the SM Mall, for about US$ 20. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient, and as everywhere in the Philippines speak good English. A simple request seems to cause half the staff to come running. Although service charge is included in the price, I always tip extra (at the front desk pool) because they are wonderful! I can't wait to go back!

Lovely Hotel and Courteous Staff”
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room we had was clean and fresh. The staff were all courteous even the security guards. The most unforgettable we had in this hotel was the breakfast buffet, it was awesome. My son loves this hotel and wish to come back soon. The hotel is not creepy like most of the hotels in Baguio. It is near the mall, park, churches, and easy access for public transportation if in case you have no private vehicle. I definitely recommed this hotel to those who are in tight budget but wants great service and food. I also love that they free flowing coffee, tea, mineral water, and Ice at all times. I dont need to buy at the store. And by the way, the bed we had was great. I made a right decision in choosing Microtel Baguio.

pretty cool in Microtel baguio”
I went on a trip to Baguio last weekend with my husband, our 6 month old baby, and our 2 helpers. This was actually the same day as when Maring, the really nasty typhoon, hit the Philippnes (majorly worse than Ondoy i think). It was a 'spur of the moment' thing since my husband and i rarely have long weekends due to the jobs that we have. And so we looked for a place to stay the night before via Agoda.com. I honestly wasnt expecting much since we were on a budget, so i figured that the hotel would be just OK. Microtel was a lot better than i expected with the friendly and helpful staff and the great breakfast. I mean there weren't a lot of varieties to choose from BUT everything was delicious. And i would much rather have small selection of yummy food than a wide variety of "edible" food. The rooms were small (we got 2 rooms. 1 for my family, and the other for the helpers), but i wasn't picky since we were just going to sleep there anyway. My only problem with it was that when we left for Manila, I noticed a lot of insect bites on different areas of my body. My husband had a few too. I think they were bed bugs. The helpers didn't have the same problem as we did, but then again they were in a different room. They sort of had a buffet on my skin in particular, though...Anyway, since we were worried about going back to manila because of the storm, we asked the advice of the staff at the lobby, and they were all kind enough to give us information about the best route, even calling somewhere to ask about the current weather situation and if it was safe for travellers to drive from Baguio. I would definitely come back here, but maybe next time the bed bugs can vacation somewhere else please...:)

Mr. & Mrs. Lilia Vermillo”
We do not travel often. So when we do, I do a lot of research before I decide to make my reservations. I didn’t make a mistake with Microtel at Wyndham in Baguio City. The whole staff gave us the best, VIP treatment. From the Security guard, the Front desk, all the way to the staff at the dining. If that’s my last day in the Philippine, I would leave them all my money up to the last cent. To show my appreciation for the excellent service they provided us. Thank you everyone.hope to see you all again 😘🤗

Exceeded Expectations”
this exceeded my expectations from the last time i checked-in in one of the same microtels in the north, last year. same friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable living hotel experience. i was surprised though that microtel baguio was offering a buffet breakfast which was different from that of microtel cabanatuan. i am extremely amazed how all staff would lighten up your day with a smile on their face. i would surely recommend and stay again here should i visit baguio sometime in the future. kudos!

Great comfort, great value for money!”
This hotel is a great place to stay when traveling to Baguio City. Located beside the Victory Liner bus terminal gives you more time to enjoy Baguio and worry less about getting to/from your hotel as you arrive or before you leave the city. The hotel has great rooms, adequately sized and would fit three to four people comfortably. The hotel is very clean and hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel lobby is also very cozy for businessmen and families traveling to Baguio. Parking space is also adequate - we checked-in when the hotel is fully-booked and we noticed that there were still vacant parking spaces available. The breakfast menu should be improved though, as there are very limited choices. There are only three menu items available for breakfast - eggs, spam, burger patties and fish. The fried rice however, tastes great! Overall, we enjoyed the stay at the hotel.
