Amazing hotel”
I love this hotel. Very clean, everything is new considering the hotel is new also. My room is Studio type, it is small but comfortable, it worth every penny. Love the rain shower.The location is strategic, close to few Chinese eateries, bar/bistro, laudry bar, mini supermarket. You can just walk to those places. The downside is the TV channels, lack of entertaining channel. Since I rarely stay in the room, I just consider it just a minor cons. If I decided to come to Kuching again, I would stay at this hotel again if the service is still great as the first time I stayed here.

Executive Suite Couple Stay”
The suite is very big, clean & affordable. The staffs are very helpful & friendly. We feel safe and secure staying at the hotel. We arrived at about 10pm & we have time to order our food for dinner. We ordered steak & rack of lamb, the price is cheap & taste very good. The situation of the hotel is a walking distance to the waterfront & topspot for eating seafoods. Travelling to other shopping malls like Sping, Vivacity & Aeon mall by grab are cheap like rm4 to rm6 from this hotel.

Everything is Excellent ”
Fast and easy check-in. Super clean and modern room. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Great location, everything is nearby and within walking distance. All the staff are friendly, helpful and polite. One of the restaurant staff realized my sister is a vegetarian. She quickly arranged for a vegetarian breakfast without us asking. We had an awesome 2 night's stay in a family suite. Highly recommended and definitely will stay again.

Fantastic & Wonderful Stay”
This trip to Kuching was my 1st after over 30 years. Yes, plenty has changed since then. I chose the right hotel in Meritin Hotel. Honestly I don't have anything to complain about at all. Everything from the front desk to the housekeeping staff & location were just perfect! Yes, I will definitely stay here again anytime I am back in Kuching. I wish to single out the housekeeping staff by the name of K or Kay. Frankly I really have no idea which specific department she belongs to but she was everywhere, assisting everyone there. Please keep up the good work, K or Kay. To the management of Meritin, well done for having such a kind, helpful & considerate staff!!!

Perfect for short/business stay. Everything is perfect. Good smell in lobby. Nice and polite receptionist. Clean hotel. Fast lift. Got upgrade to Premier room but booked Superior room. Cozy and pleasant room with all basic requirments. Good pressure of shower with spacious and clean bathroom. Very cold A/C. Extensive TV channel compared to other 5 stars hotel. Overall is a very enjoyable stay. Definitely will come back again.

Clean and Best Location ”
The staff was really kind and willing to attend any request. Alongside thoughtful amenities and general comfort, an efficient staff that excels at personal attention is a must-have for all hotels. The price I paid was absolutely worth it! This is something every manager longs to hear from his or her guests. I love the buffet breakfast which is served Sarawak Laksa! Definitely will come back again in near future.

Excellent hotel”
A very good hotel in every sense. Hotel is clean, big enough, well equip, comfortable bed, everything works well. The breakfast consist of bread, boiled egg n coffee only cost RM6. Very well located with so many good restaurants / cafe within short walk. River front which one should not miss is just 10 minutes walk away. Will defitely recommend for others.

Fantastic hotel in Kuching ”
What a great hotel in Kuching. We stayed for 5 days in Kuching and had a great time. The room is very clean, comfortable, fresh and new. The location is great with many (Street food) restaurants around. There are many places nearby to visit. Take a grab and you'll visit all the great places.

Great Hospitality”
A clean and comfort hotel. Room is slightly small, but well for a solo traveller. Located in busy street (with lots food available), quite at night time (old street in the town). Walking distance to the river/ museum. Due to covid19, breakfast was served as ala carte - improvement need for the choices of dishes. Overall, satisfied and happy stays. I stay for 4D3N due to work.

Very good location & comfortable room”
Initially i chose this hotel is bcz of the location as i want to explore more on the historical buildings around and also local food. However i got more than expected, staff are very friendly and good manners. Our room was updated to executive suite which was more spacious and good view. I will stay here again for my next trip.

The best new location right in the Chinese centre. Everything is within walking distance. ”
I had a buffet catered for seating of 50 it was perfect for cosy group. A great bakery across the street. Famous Noodle Decendant and the Fast and Furious Cafe all within 100 meters. RM for a ride to or from the airport. Public Laundry down the street. It’s perfect location and every local knows the location. The rooms are tidy. Room service and staff all communicated like family and know their guest by name. It was like being home. Definitely will stay there again❤️

Nice Stay and Good Service”
Come as a business trip and stay for 6 days. The rooms and toilet are clean and tidy, staff are very nice and location is great because can find various of foods nearby. It is also near to Kuching River whereby you can enjoy nice view and food with just around 10 minutes walking distance.

Clean, Affordable and Great Location”
It is definitely a place that i will come back again. The room is spacious and clean, nice bed, nice shower room. I did not expect to be that good. The location is absolutely great, 7eleven is just few walking distance to reach out, and it is near to the Kuching Waterfront.

Best rest ever in this hotel located in heart of Chinatown . Food and eateries within reach, malls and it's only 15 mins away from airport. Room is amazingly clean and best so comfy. Will definitely choose this hotel for transit again.

A very nice place in the heart of the city. Room is clean and easy to access as lift is available. Easy to walk everywhere as it's in the city. A lot of outside eateries and also a bar just across the street. Overall highly recommend.

We have pleasant stay with great and friendly staffs, clean room and walking distances to nice foods (including local food stalls, famous/recommended foods & topspot for seafood), 5-10mins walk to Kuching Waterfront. Definitely will return for next visit.

I got superb Studio Room as I requested on Agoda note. The staff assigned me to room no. 509. All in good condition and suitable for myself as a solo stay. I have a chance to watch the CNY eve fireworks through my window. It’s so beautiful scenery. I hope i can get this room again for my next stay.
