The room is really good, even the superior room is spacious, nice, well lit, with good amenities, the location also great, but comparing to my other stays before the pandemic, the service is kind of less than I expected for a four star hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful, however, guess because of the pandemic, it seems that they are under staff. I stayed from Friday - Monday, and when I arrived, there is no one to stand by near the door to help me take out all my belongings from the car. There is this security check post, but it's not being used as well. For the pandemic precaution, they do provide hand sanitizers with adequate numbers in public spaces, the staff also used proper masks and face shields, and they do provide one for the guests when you ask, there is also an automatic infrared thermometer to check your temperature without touching it. But then unfortunately, there is no one stand by at the elevator, and since there are always ignorant people everywhere, including some of the guests, despite the clear warning for 2 people only inside the elevator, often, there are more than 2 people inside and they are not from the same group, and I never seen the elevator being cleaned as often as it should be. And because they are under staff, it affects their service quality, too, it's getting hard to reach them by phone, there were several times, where I want to borrow scissors, and I have to call all the line they provided, but none being answered, and it happened more than 4 times, until I have to call the security line just to get someone at the phone. The receptionist was often have more than 2 queuing line every time I saw them, and most of the time don't expect anybody to open the door for you. No I don't ask to be treated like a queen, since I'm used to do everything on my own, but I stayed in Mercure (both Mercure Alam Sutera and other Mercure Hotels) before and I know their usual standards, and even though I know that because of this pandemic the

The hotel is surrounded by a food market (Flavor Bliss and Pasar Delapan) and a mall (Living World) within walking distance. The hotel staff is friendly and responsive to our needs. Still as good as before. Remains consistent overall in the quality. Since i have stayed many times i will be the picky one and highlight that some details could have been done better: towels quite smelly on the first day (make sure the linen smells fresh), shower drain not working well and it was filling up like a pool which really isn't a great feeling (maybe a bit of preventive maintenance there would solve the issue), tea selection not refilled between first day and second (room service came over and that's probably one item in the check list that was missed). Besides this I was still happy with the stay, the mall next door has a lot to offer, so overall my preferred choice for stay in the area.

Everything was fine from Check in until I checked myself out. The service they provided is very good. Their swimming pool is under maintenance till July 2019 (if not mistaken), but the somehow collaborate with the sport center nearby that area for customer who wish to swim or doing other sports. They do provide shuttle bus to the sport center, everything for free of course. There is a mall named LivingWorld nearby, not a huge one but enough for grabbing some and there are a lot of restaurants. Beside the hotel is a private hospital, and there are a lot of shops outside the hotel, everything is "walkable". I'm truly satisfied with this hotel.
