An enjoyable stay”

We came to Lyon by train from Paris, reached Perrache station and just a short walk to the hotel. We spent 3 nights here. It is a old fashion design building, but has very clean and comfortable room. Staff are caring and attentive. My wife likes the breakfast very much. If we come to Lyon we will definitely stay here again.

A good and convenient place to stay”

This was my first time at this hotel and I intend to check in again if I travel to Lyon. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Why some hotels still charge for the internet is beyond me. Free internet is one of the criteria I check before I pick a hotel to stay (in this case, I was travelling without a computer). Rating below for food is for breakfast.

Old world charm”

An elegant hotel with Well appointed rooms, convenient location and easy access to transport of all sorts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was nice. Just remember the TGV station is the other end of town, so it takes a 15 min+ cab ride to get there...

Right next to the train and tram station ”

The hotel was under renovation during our visit in June 2015 so the carpark available was the few ones near the entrance of the hotel. We didn't felt that there were any disturbances from the renovation. The room had a huge bed and a cot for our baby but that left very little space for anything. The room was very modernly designed. In room dining food was not bad. The tram station was linked to the various malls and Lafayette.

Very close to Lyon Perrache station”

Decent hotel for the price. Was very close to train station but a little while from te main city centre. Concierge was very helpful with travel tips, helping us organize taxis etc. Rooms were ok but nothing special.

Honeymoon Trip”

Nice location for short stay or transit...we had a short stay in Lyon before we head to Paris.

Excellent”

I stayed 3 nights on the first floor and it was great. The rooms look newly renovated and the shower was lovely. The next 3 nights I was on the 5th floor and my shower didn't work from the ceiling and the room is very dated also it was much noisier in this room. The staff were lovely, breakfast is good. Location is handy and close to pretty places but in each room I only had a view to train tracks. All in all had a good stay.

Great room, very cetral”

Loved it, staff was very helpfull and nice. Room was comfortable and breakfeast buffet was great. The concierge was very helpfull with suggestions. Train station is across the road and bike hire only a short walk away.

Fantastic Hotel ”

Yasman at the front desk is very good at taking care of guests. Very clean room and great view of the cathedral. Next to the train station., metro.

Nice hotel but small room”

The reception was excellent. The guy at the counter gave us all the information we need and was courteous. We arrived at 1030 and manage to get checked in. Check out was at 12 noon. I suppose this depends on availability of the room. The room was average. A little small and not very bright.

great location very close to tgv station but the building is old and there are more than one hotel near with half price

Friendly and obliging staff”

We were NLT there for 1 night. The room was very quiet which had a spectacular view of the cathedral on the hill behind Old Town.

Mercure Lyon”

Had paper cups for coffee in room. Had to ask for a glass and a mug for hot drinks. Breakfast way too expensive. Renovations going on that we were not informed of when booking. Couldn't add my ac orchard to booked rooms, due to booking thru Agoda and not directly with Accor...

cosy”

Nice week end at this hôtel, close to one of the major Lyon's train station. Quiet room even is we were facing the rails.

Good staff and nice view”

the hotel is easy to find when coming from the station as it is just across the road. coming by private car is made more difficult by the lack of signs and one way streets. the hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the room was not as shown on the pictures and was really deceiving as a dull grey room with standard furniture.

Location”

There are free car parks but not many restaurants around it. It is within walking distance to the old town across the river where most restaurants and shops are (About 2.5km)
