Good location, cosy room, great facilities on-site and nearby”
This hotel is one of those 'classic establishments' in the vicinity. It has evidently been on the site for a while, and this shows in the layout and decor. However, under a consistently good management (hotel is owned and operated by the same group running the Singapore Peninsula - YTC Hotels), the rooms are clean and cosy, and all staff, from housekeeping to the concierge are professional. Location wise, it is located off one of Jakarta's trunk roads, enabling one to find transport easily to anywhere in JKT and the new suburbs. The trip from airport to the hotel took me only 40 minutes at 5 pm. It was also a comfortable 25 min to Plaza Indonesia during rush hour. All in, the hotel exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely stay there again.

Despite of the flood and the electric failure happened in Jakarta on 1st Januari 2020, we decided to evacuate ourselves to this hotel... Trying to check in @7.30pm and just got the room @8.30 after long queue of people checking in this hotel, we were happy when this hotel gave us an upgraded room from deluxe room to executive room... Extremely happy when they also gave us the same room when we decided to extend for another day.. room, service, food etc were excellent. Thanks. i have no doubt to get back to the hotel one day in the future. thanks

everything is ok. some suggestion for this hotel is the cleanliness of the swimming pool, especially for the area with the waterfall and the baby pool close to it. those areas seemed a bit dirty compared to the other parts of the pool. please be consistant to make sure the pool is clean in all areas.

Interested in swimming pool photo, but in fact the water look green, not blue as in the picture. So, we decide not to try the pool. We book a non smoking room, but it's not available, so they gave us a smoking room. Not too bad, only a slight smell of cigarette The large bed is good, new sheet, small TV with many channel, coffee, tea, hot water kettle, one pair of slipper (need 2 pairs actually), bathtub with hot and cold water (very nice, the pressure water is good), hair dryer, clean towels. Breakfast with minimal choices but it's tasty, white rice, fried rice, fried noodle, chicken stew (Semur Ayam), cabbage stir fry, sunny side egg, sausage, sambal. Mini croissant, wheat bread, butter, strawberry jam, toaster (love the toast bread), fruits, coffee, tea, juice. Good enough for breakfast Overall I love this staycation, old dated hotel, but it's clean. We only see several people, it's really quite. Renovation is a must in near future.

Peninsula offered spacious rooms equipped with bath tubs that we rarely find in other similar 4-starred-hotels. With 3 swimming pools, my young daughter couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. A very pleasant stay, will definitely come again on the next holiday.

Awesome place to stay but expensive room service”
Nice place to stay and great staff services, very polite and courteous. Couldn't extend the stay for my airport transit as they had the latest cut off at 2 pm. Overall was ok.

Old building but good enough”
Staying for 2 nights, the building is old but the furniture and facilities are not bad. There's still something need to fix like mini fridge didn't work, a bit rusty bathroom and the room not entirely clean But really worth for the price, and the staff are welcome, easy to check in and out, there's deposit fee that can claimed back when checking out
