One of the better hotels in the Bukit Bintang area”

Melia Kuala Lumpur is quite a good hotel, with its central location in Bukit Bintang. For shoppers, it's located near malls like Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat Plaza for techies, and, if you're in a walking mood, Pavilion Mall and Suria KLCC approximately 15 and 25 minutes away respectively. There's a bridge linking Pavilion Mall to Suria KLCC for convenience, so you'll be sheltered all the way from end to end. The rooms at the hotel are also fairly spacious, with extra space for a nice comfy sofa in the corner of the room. The front desk is efficient and polite and will lend a hand if you need one. The breakfast buffet is a decent spread, with a few new food items each day, but then again, you're in Bukit Bintang so you can always get breakfast outside. There's a "mamak" (Indian) restaurant behind Low Yat Plaza which serves cheap rice and noodle dishes, as well as local fare such as roti canai and naan. All in all, a good experience at Melia KL, and will definitely choose it again if I return to KL

Superb hotel”

stayed 4 nights at the melia in a club room on 'the level'. we were on the 13th floor overlooking times square. the room was a good size with a very large comfortable bed and tv. also in the room was a 2-seater sofa and coffee table, and a desk and chair. the bathroom was spacious and the shower was very hot and powerful, though the shower could have been a little bit higher up the wall as my husband and i are both tall and had to stoop slightly when washing our hair. we ate breakfast in the level dining room on the 18th floor and it was very peaceful and relaxing as only guests staying in the club rooms are allowed to eat there, the choice was sufficient for us and they will make you ommelettes and eggs, but if you want a full english or a massive choice you can eat in the main hotel dining room. the location of the hotel was superb, the monorail imbi stop is directly outside. the next stop is bukit bintang where there are a couple of very impressive shopping malls with some nice eating places inside (wasn't very impressed with debenhams). we found the staff to be very polite and helpful and they always wished us a good morning/afternoon/evening when they saw us. all in all we found the melia the ideal place to stay when in kuala lumpur and would definitely stay there again in a club room.

Excellent Location, Facilities and Staff”

Melia is located opposite Berjaya Timesquare with access through IMBI station. 2 minutes walk to both time square and IMBI station. the 7Eleven store is literally next to the hotel entrance. 5 minutes walk to bukit bintang and walking distance to all the shopping Malls. Excellent room and washroom with ample facilities. best pillows and bed (it was really a struggle leaving bed in the morning :)) The lovely people at reception are superstars. very helpful and friendly (it was so kind of one of the reception guy to book us a airport taxi using his registered app on his mobile - thank you so much) it was my first time staying in Melia Kuala Lumpur and i would definitely stay here again whenever im back in KL.

Highly recommend”

Location: Meliá is very good. 1.) it’s near Bukit Bintang from hotel takes 5 minutes walk there. 2.) It’s around 1 minutes walk to hotel from Imbi monorail station and around 10 minutes walk to Pavilion. 3.) For Twin Tower, it takes around 20-25 minutes walk from hotel. It’s is convenience to everywhere. Accommodation: The hotel has renovations in 2018 as I found the details from internet. 1.) The room inside is good and clean, it’s will not affect the guest even some of outside wall are still under renovation. 2.) Also the housekeeper has refill those shampoo/body wash for us daily, but bathroom is missing shaving razor, hope to improve in future. 3.) Bathroom Mirror has fog after shower and can seen the housekeeper clean the mirror from different different directions and leave some hairy on mirror. Hope they can clean the mirror in same direction with detergent as it’s look ghost shade for me. I am little bit disappointed for this matter. 4.) Sofa has some yarn come out. Hope the sofa width become more longer as sit/sleep there is not enough comfortable. 5.) Hope the desk and side table will be renovation as the wooden color looks old. 6.) Hope all rooms with bathtub in future. 7.) The main entrance and hall: it’s look older than the photos, but this is acceptable as still same as photo. Hope to improve the marble stone more shiny as it will looks more good for the hall. Breakfast: Our room is excluded the buffet breakfast, we have pay to try one day. It’s quite more choice for breakfast and it’s is same as expect as 4 star hotel. It’s surprise as many type of bread for chosen. Total conclusions: CP Rate (Cost Performance Rate) is high and price matched to 4 star hotel expected. We would like to stay again next time in Kuala Lumpur and highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable and convenience”

This is our 3rd stay at Melia Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is situated where it very convenience to go anywhere. Imbi monorail station is just infront of the hotel which gives u easy access to anywhere in Bukit Bintang area. Hotel is near many food joint you will be spoilt for choice. Shopping malls are all around like for you to shop till u drop. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Melia will always be our 2nd home when we go KL!

Excellent mid-range hotel”

Between the large number of rather dull mid- range hotels in the centre of Kuala Lumpur the Melia is a good option. It offers an excellent location in the very popular Bukit Bintang area with 6 or 8 big shopping malls within 5 min's walking distance and a monorail station right in front of the hotel. The breakfast options cater most for western customers abd are a bit limited, the pool is small, cold and unattractive, but the staff does a stellar job, the rooms are big enough and the price is fair.

Great Location & Nice Hotel”

its was our first time staying at melia hotel kuala lumpur, thanks to the reviews from agoda. we stayed at the level - club floor room, there a special lounge for breakfast exclusively for those staying on the level. location is great as berjaya times sq is just opp the hotel. basically, you can just walk to those major shopping centres like lot 10, sungi wang and pavillion. when night falls, behind the hotel around bukit bintang, where there a street, you can find lots of restaurants and stalls serving local foods. you wont get hungry, for sure! the room is spacious and as we stayed on the upper floor, we got a good city view. would stay here again if we comes to kl again.

we stayed for five nights within 2 weeks, travelled to hong kong back to melia and travelled again to phuket then back again to melia.the hotel noticed and appreciated us as their valuable guest even provive complimentary fruits in our room when we return,no thought just 3 apples but still the thought that counts.beside what we mentioned,melia kl is a great hotel as far as their well trained staff and service provided.the location we grad as 1st class especially everything are within walking distance such as shopping mall and good hawker malaysian food.we will definately stay again whenever we visit kl.last but not least,thank you very much and keep up the great standard, Melia Kuala Lumpur

My First Experience With Melia Kuala Limpur”

I stayed at Melia Kuala Lumpur from April 25 till April 27, 2010, the check in is quite efficient, although they still required me to put a deposit of MYR. 200 instead of my full paid voucher, the hotel location is a good area, within walking distance to many shopping centers, my room view is beautiful, the only negative thing is the water in the bathroom look yellowish, like it's not clean, but the staffs are frindly and quite helpful, thy response to our request immediately, and the breakfast is satisfying, I'd love to stay at this hotel on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Melia KL”

The Melia is very conveniently located in downtown Kuala Lumpur, with easy access to Times Square, Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang. It is also right next to the Imbi monorail station which will take you directly to KL Sentral Railway Station if you have to catch the KLIA Express to KLIA or the bus to LCCT terminals. The staff at the Melia are also very friendly and helpful. It is reasonably priced, yet provides a level of comfort almost akin to a 5-star hotel.

Hotel at Bukit Bintang Area with Superb Location !”

Our (couple with young child) stay at the Melia Kuala Lumpur was very nice. The hotel is clean even consider not a new hotel. The room is clean and quite big for 3 of us, the bathroom with bathtub just nice. And the hotel's staff are friendly, you can ask almost anything to them. Hotel location is superb, very near to monorail station (Imbi), very near to convenience stores, malls, restaurants around Bukit Bintang Area. The food that we ordered from room service was nice. The minus thing about this hotel just it's swimming pool. The swimming pool consider small for adult, but it's okay for my 7th years old daughter. Overall it was nice experience, can give you good memories from your holiday. Thank you Agoda.

Great Location!”

this was our 2nd time staying at melia guestroom. as expected, the room is clean and comfy. we got the view of the times square again which my girl loved so much i dn know y.the room is big and spacious and since this time round i brought along my teenage daughter, the extra bed fits nicely in the room with still ample plc to move arnd. the hotel is within walking distant to almost all shopping ctr. no worries with food as there were alot of food chains arnd but be prepared to pay service charge even if its just a "by the roadside" food joint. the imbi train station is just infront of the hotel for easy transportation if you're an adventurous person and petaling street is just 2 train stop away! hotel breakfast is great. very generous spread and top-ups was done quickly. well, basically melia has so far never failed us! it shall be our permanent hotel whenever we are in kuala lumpur. what can i say, its so convenient!

Being a regular traveller to big cities such as Kuala Lumpur, I am very particular with the location of the hotel which I am going to stay. I am always looking for hotel where reliable public transport is within a stone throw as driving in big cities could mean wasting a lot of time in traffic jams etc.At Melia Hotel,Kuala Lumpur I found what I was looking for.The hotel location is so perfect for me that I don’t bother searching for other hotels whenever I am in town.I regard Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur as my second home.

Great Location and Nice Hotel”

Melia Kuala Lumpur is just opposite times square and near Bukit Bintang road. In other words, the location was simply great. The service staff are all very helpful and polite.The room which i checked in was very spacious and comfortable.Each guest is given a complimentary drink at Melia's drinks lounge.

No fuss no Hassel”

My Stay at Melia was greatly enjoyable,i arrived and the check in staff memeber greeted me with a smile, i later found out that he was relatively new, my check in seemed effortless snd i was presented with the room card, the Ported who i had chatted with had been with the Hotel for 25 years amazing, i thought that was commendable, upon arriving to the room i inserted the key which didnt open the door, as i was tired the Porter told me the room was actually occupied, the porter apologiesed and went to reception to have the room changed, we then proceeded to the next room which unfotumnately wasnt as i anticipated, so back to the reception where i was greeted by the Assistant Mananger. I explained what had happend, so he offered me another room and said if i wasnt happy with the one he was going to show me, he would up grade me, as u guessed it i was upgreaded i guess the assistant manager apreciated my patience and understanding , i dont blame the check in staff member people make mistakes and i just thought it was a funny, maybe my luck, but the staff that i dealt with along this process were lovely friendly and accommodating. i would definately recommend and definately stay at Melia Kuala Lumpur again, cant waite to get back there , thanks.

Great hotel right across from Berjaya Times Square”

Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Melia Kuala Lumpur. First of all, it had a great location - 2 minutes walking to the nearest monorail and right across the street from Berjaya Times Square! Also, tons of restaurants, convenience stores, banks, shopping malls, etc. right around the hotel entrance. The rooms were really nice and large, and the buffet breakfast was really nice too! Lots of variety and very fresh! My only complaint - I thought for the quality of the hotel - free wireless should be provided. Not only did we have to pay for it each day, but also had to get a new password each day from the front desk - which eventually got pretty annoying. Overall, not bad experience though.

Great Location; Comfortable rooms”

melia is located in the heart of bukit bintang; the premier shopping location in kuala lumpur. it is within walking distance of all the great malls like times square, lot 10, pavillion etc. lots of great food within the area as well. check out jalan alor for lots of local delicacies. with the subway located just next to hotel, it makes moving around very easy.

excellent place to stay”

1.the staffs are very friendly, especially the doormen, we asked them how to get to Petronas Twin Tower, and they gave us a city map thats turns to very helpfull during our holidy there. this hotel is actually just in front of LRT (1 stop to bukit bintang, where all foods and malls are placed, 4 stops to Bukit Nanas, where you can have another 15 minutes walk to Petronas Twin Tower, Suria KLCC, you also can take this LRT to KL Sentral, where you can buy those ticket to Genting Highlands, and from KL Sentral you can also go to MidValley (the largest mall in KL) by Komuter, the transportation is just so easy and efficient. 2. the breakfast menu is nice, the person in charge in breakfast time is also very friendly. that big guy is very helpful and wont make you too long in queing. you should try the chicken/beef rendang, this hotel has made it very nice. 3.excellent location (walking distance to bukit bintang and malls near bukit bintang, such as lot 10, sungei wang, the the newest pavillion mall, berjaya time square, LRT and many more). during our 4 days 3 nights, those malls really made our holiday. We suggest you come to Kuala Lumpur in mid year or end of year, you will find SALE everywhere, yes its everywhere. including branded products, clothes, beuty products, baby products. 4. during our stay there, melia hotel has a promotion in room internet, so you can use it for FREE! they provide an internet cable, or wifi, and personal password for every room. its really help us during our stay, because some hotel that we know they didn’t even have an internet connection anywhere inside their hotel. But when you get to Melia, you better ask whether the promotion is still on or has ended. 5. there was only 1 disappointed things, when we get there, we asked for a non smoking room + king size bed, but what we got was a combined single bed. they said they will change if there is a king size available. But until our 3rd nights, we were still in the same room.

Great position to stay within reach of everything”

I was quite impressed when I arrived at the hotel. The foyer is lovely and the staff are very helpful. As a smoker, the lounge is a nice place to sit and relax to have a cigarette. The monorail is very accessable and makes it easy to get around Kuala Lumpur. The shopping mall across the road is huge and is a great place to shop. You don't have to travel far to have a great time staying at the Melia Kuala Lumpur. Breakfast was included and had a wide range of foods available. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
