Excellent getaway in the city”

Whether you're looking to enjoy Kuala Lumpur city, or just enjoy a posh hotel experience, Mandarin Oriental provides all. Excellent service from the staff, from the hotel receptionist, the room service staffs, the restaurant staffs, chefs, etc. The room is clean and quite spacious. Decent breakfast spread. Definitely would recommend if you're looking to splurge on a stay at a posh hotel.

Worth the price, but eat out”

The staff were very professional and friendly. The premises were clean and laid out well. We were very satisfied with the rooms. HOWEVER... I recommend eating out as the prices for in-room dining are extravagantly high. Of course, room service is expensive, BUT at the Mandarin Oriental KL the prices are extremely expensive! TLDR: the room and location are well worth the price, but stay away from in-room dining.

It was a real pleasure to stay at the MO. The service was impeccable, the staff very professional and kind, the hotel is in a great location and the breakfast was really excellent. Any question, or request we had were immediately answered to by the hotel staff. The only disappointment was the view from the room, we booked the room with the tower view, but it is very close to the towers and they were not lit so we were really surrounded by buildings and skyscrapers (the pictures shown on the website are not accurate). Otherwise it was a great experience. If we ever return to Kuala Lumpur, MO will be our first hotel choice!

Worth money & time spent for my parents' wedding anniversary surprise arrangement. Great service provided by the room service team Mr. Naden, receptionist & lobby welcome team. Absolutely not regretting choosing this hotel over W Kuala Lumpur as the service provided was extremely better than what we get from W Kuala Lumpur.

Amazing Hospitality ”

The staffs were friendly with smiley face although it is hospitality fundamental yet some hotels may fail on this, But Mandarin Oriental KL done with GOOD JOB. I had a pleasant stay there, location is perfectly next to the KLCC, the room is spacious, cleanliness very good, basically no complaint for a stay there.

Doesnr feel M.O. At all ”

This hotel doesnr make me feel the standard of Mandarin Oriental at all. The location is perfect. However when we 1st set our foot into the lobby, The horrible scene by the reception was the long Queue of guests waiting for check in. They even use the rope around the counters. Feels like at some theme parks waiting for entry. Just awful. And the reception told us that they don't have twin beds at all in their hotel- how can that be?' Then he gave us a connection room which I decided to change. The bed is so tiny that my other half had to dangling his feet half way outside the bed. The only high light during our stay was club lounge staffs are extremely friendly and well trained. To be honest if not because of them, we probably checked out the hotel on the same day. I also need to give credits to the Aqua restaurant staffs, under the weather condition- they made our new year eve a memorable one.

All of their staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have booked a club room for my husband’s birthday and apart from the nice view of the twin towers, they booked us in their highest floor. The club lounge is very nice especially when we had our breakfast there with the view of the city. All the best to Mandarin Oriental. Thank you Akiko of reception for assisting our stay.

First time in KL”

Stayed at this hotel with my wife during our first trip to KL. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in this one was the best. At any other city a Mandarin Hotel would be much more, so for the rate this is the best way to stay at a Mandarin Oriental hotel at a discounted rate with the same service.

Awesome stay”

There is nothing we dislike about this hotel. Literally a door step away from KLCC. And within walking distance to Pavillion at Jalan Bukit Bintang. The cleanliness is tip top. Service is top notch and fast. Swimming pool gets quite crowded as we stayed during Raya weekend and it was difficult to get a pool chair (though there were plenty) and we had to request for towel several times ( we can see that their staff are very busy too). Had buffet dinner at Mosaic, though it was good variety but lack in taste and quality. Apart from that, we will definitely return if we have a chance.

My experience at Mandarin Oriental has always been one of high quality. Anyone who appreciates high quality would enjoy their stay. The rooms are classy, good size, and well maintained. The options for food are many, the MO Bar is fantastic. There is nothing negative I can say about my experiences in MO.

One of the best hotels we have stayed. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Both check-in and check-out was very smooth and fast. Spacious room with a super comfortable bed and a great view. We loved the complimentary sparkling juices provided in the room. Good location..a few mins walk to Suria KLCC mall. Will definitely stay there again.

location is perfect for those who firstly visiti the KL central area. there are 5 star hotels around Madarin Oriental but distinguished because of its location and facilities. there are room to improve in terms of services that the staff provides, but worth to stay again.

Exceptional”

Fantastic stay!. We booked 2 rooms with twin tower view. Upon arrival, the staff recommended that we choose a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. Wish that we could stay longer. the breakfast spread was good with lots of choices. Excellent location for those who loves shopping at either KLCC or Pavillion (walking distance via skybridge and not too far). Highly recommended.

Luxury & Magnificent Location”

A truly magnificent location during our visit to KL, right next to KLCC, so you can walk over for a meal, shopping without traffics jam. Spacious room with a super comfortable bed. Pool’s views are intoxicating. Check-in done in room with the welcome chocolates & soda. The breakfast is in itself a journey through different worlds.

KLCC just walking distant. Their hospitality is top notch! They changed our towel 2 times per day! The food for room service were scrumptious, we ordered margarita pizza and penne carbonara, the waiter served the food with the table in the room. The view at the pool side is magnificent! Thank you to all the staffs. Good job!

Superb Hotel in a great location ”

F&B slightly below Mandarin Oriental quality, especially in-room dining. However it’s superb value for a luxury hotel, the rooms are newly renovated, staff is very kind. Consider the club floor, amazing club offerings...simply an excellent stay
