Manalo's Lodge is a nice place to stay if you are going to Puerto Galera .. I would suggest this place because of the good amenities and facilities and also the staff and even the owner is very approachable .. They assist their guest nicely .. The food is tasty and delicious .. And what's important is the location of the place is just in the beach front ..

This is our second time to visit galera but to be honest, I enjoyed more this time. For Manalo's Lodge, it has a value for money quality. The room was big enough. It's a good for 4 room actually. And the price is really cheap. Their location is a 5 minute walk towards the beach. All in all, it was absolutely a great place to stay especially for budget travelers like us.

my family and i stayed at this lodge to celebrate my husband's birthday and mother's day as well. rooms are quite big, we're four but i think the room can accommodate up to 6 persons. there's a ref, shower and terrace. staff was accommodating to our needs and i think the location was also good, a few minutes from the beach front, and walking distance as well if you want to go to the tricycle terminal if you want to go to the town proper.value for money indeed.

The lodge is just ok, room was big with own bathroom. I reserved a deluxe room with 2 double beds. The room description says it can accommodate 3-4 persons and it does. What was disappointing was that when i booked the room, the policy says there is nio extra charge so long as the number of occupants do not exceed the room capacity. I went with my two children and on our arrival, i was asked to pay an additional php 300 since i booked the room for 2 persons only and i was told that they charge not by room per night but per person. Well, php 300 is not really a big deal but what was the policy all about? Anyway, the room comes with just the basic amenities, we were given 3 towels, a roll of tissue but we were not provided with additional bedding - blanket and pillow for the additional person despite having been charged, and that was all.

The Rooms very Simple but big. Light is very dark, so better bring a bulp or a light with you. The owner is ok and helpfull. The lodge is something for Budget traveler.

VERY noisey at various times of day & night, panels missing from louvre windows let in even more noise from local & street people & motor bikes.(Clubs music not part of the noise issue) Overflowing water in the 500mm gap to next building outside the bathroom was even louder than 'front' noise. The owner/manager were friendly & helpful but that didn't get us any better sleep. Left 1 day early to go to another hotel for 3 days, love White Beach!

as there is no hot water, was told in the Philippines its always hot and no need fopr a hot water unit. well we stayed there for week during some cold weather, the shower was very col;d. but have to admit there food was great.

When we first got there the rooms were not what we booked..had to b changed over to the rooms we had..my mates room the shower didn't work.and his aircon and fridge u would think have been there since the place was built they ...my room the fridge was good..shower hardly worked and the aircon very noisy....we were cooking there ourselves.. on his sight it mentions that have cooking area so u would assume u bring our food and can cook there.. u can but u have to pay 250 pesos to use the gas perday.it should mention that on the web sight..when it come to asking for stuff in the so called cooking area was a hassle for them to get it...I asked a lady working there if she could clean our room this is the 2nd day we stay there she looked at me and said why u checking out..I said no but would like the room cleaned..she just looked at me and walked off with a look on her face like she didn't understand.. she did..but carefacter nill...and that's how the place is maintained very poorly.. I don't think the place has had any maintenance since it was built and it shows when u are there..many other nice places to stay there so I would avoid this one....
