I think this is hands down the best place we stayed in during our trips in cebu.We visited different islands and originally we booked malapatel as the last option but we surprised how beautiful it was.Very clean room , great location just 15 steps and you're already in the beach.The staff and the owners were great very nice and friendly people.We felt welcome and right at home.Very warm and welcoming.We were well taken care of through out.The room we stayed in was very relaxing has a good vibe and I had my best sleep in a while..while travelling its hard to get good sleep.The owners helped us out with the tours and gave us better prices than outside. Overall very happy with our stay.I thank the owners and the staff and would definitely stay here again when we come back to malapascua and will recommend malapatel to everyone.😊 God bless and keep up the great work.

New year stay”
A way to end 2020 is to travel, go to the beach, see the sunset, and to take a good rest in a nice place. The room we got was larger than expected, clean and accessible. Management and staff are accommodating to request, when something comes up it was addressed right away. Will surely comeback to Malapascua and book to Malapatel again.

Perfect stay at Malapatel, and will definitely come back to that place when I return to Malapascua. Ryuta welcomed us as We known him forever, extremely friendly. The WiFi works well, the room are super clean, and the hotel is eco friendly. Really perfect.

Friendly and clean hotel”
We stayed here for 6 or 7 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. New hotel, almost on the beach, specious rooms with super comfy beds and pillows, spotlessly clean. Rooms with fridge and good air con. Good size bathroom with hot/cold water shower. Reception has a water station where you can refill your water bottle for 10 PHP, which is cheaper end and more eco friendly. Breakfast is included, only comment – would be great to have some fresh fruits but already suggested it to the owner;) Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the boat drop off , just turn left and keep going until you see Blue Heaven dive shop which is also run by the owner of the hotel. Very convenient if you're diver:) Very friendly owner and staff! When we come back to Malapascua will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.😊

Booked their superior room on the 2nd floor of the building.. very clean and spacious room; has a lovely balcony, very cool a/c, heater with strong water pressure, and a mini fridge.. drinks and snacks in the room are cheap, same price in local stores. Room rate comes with free breakfast, delish and good-sized. We especially appreciate that they provide water tumblers that you can refill at the front desk (for 10php). It not only saves you money, but helps reduce plastic waste. They also have a dive shop and offer Kalanggaman tour and other island activities at even cheaper price than what the tour guides offer. Best of all, they have outstanding customer service. Friendly staff and friendlier Japanese owner.. They really make you feel welcome and special.. Will be sure to stay here the next time we

Really, this is the cleanest room on the diving islands in Southeast Asia I’ve ever been to. Japanese owner just considered every demand you will have. From the bed sheet to the floor even the floor corners, the cleaness level is about at the 5star hotel. They provide 2 pillows for your different demands, mattress is comfort for me, not too hard not too soft. Thanks to the maintaining girl,and she’s sweet. The hanger in the bathroom is so thoughtful which most Philippine little hotels won’t have it. And the hanger for drying cloths in the balcony as well! Eco cup to supply drinking water is appreciated, to minimize the plastic bottles. Breakfast is not bad. If there is a shortage of this hotel, that will be without seaview,but it’s 1min or less to walk to the beach. Even closer to our diving shop THRESHER SHARK DIVER. Thank you Malapetal!

Clean amd comfy hostel near Bounty beach”
A small hostel with ample-sized rooms kept tidy by friendly staff. Location is in Bounty beach but not exactly beachfront, its behind another resort. This is not a deal breaker for me though as we are in the room to rest or sleep. Besides you should be mostly outside exploring most of the day. Also, you get to take your free breakfast (choice of continental or Filipino) in the restaurant out front which is right on the beach. So if youre harking for a view, you do get your chance. The location is convenient as you get to explore Bounty at your leisure. It's also about a 10min walk to the market, where you get to have plenty of affordable food choices. Price-wise, this is a bit pricier compared to other hostels of the same class, and I would not have booked this if I didn't have a discount coupon to use. But the room is clean, spacious and well appointed (there's a mini fridge) so there's that.

Hotel staff is really nice and helpful. Hotel owners are super accommodating! Even allowed us to use one of the rooms to get changed while ours was not ready. Awesome location! Walking distance to everything and pretty close to the beach! Internet works really well (as opposed to some other places I’ve stayed). Hotel rooms are simple, but very clean! Would definitely go back!

I can 100% recommend this place if you do not have luxury standards for your hotel room. It has everything you need: a bed, a fridge, a bathroom, a balkony and an aircon. Everything is new and also very clean! Also it takes you 30 seconds to be at Bounty Beach. It’s not in the first row for seaview but you can see it from the balkony a little which is perfectly fine. Also it is close to the area where the boats arrive and depart which is helpful too. The staff is so friendly and the breakfast is good. Thanks for everything :-)

Nice little hotel”

Staff is friendly and they have a resident dog named Pancho. Wifi is also good speed. Not beach front, but is close to everywhere in the area.
