Friendly staff, clean, great for the price”

For the price, you couldn't ask for anything more. The staff was extremely friendly. Always smiling whenever they saw you and helpful with whatever you needed. The room itself was nothing special, but it was always clean, the bed was comfortable (memory foam), and it had everything you needed to have a comfortable night's rest before you head out to the city for the day. The only thing I marked down on was location. For anyone who wants the nice part of the city, go ahead and spend more to get a hotel in that area. The part that Main is in isn't terrible. You can easily find a taxi that will take you wherever you want, plus the business district is right down the street. Taxis in Cebu aren't expensive if you are worried about that. A taxi from the hotel to the temple was around the equivalent of $3, and that was probably the farthest I needed to go by taxi. Anything else to see or do in Cebu will be less than or around that price. I LOVED my experience at Main, and I would stay there again if I ever made my way down to Cebu City again! I highly recommend for someone who doesn't mind using inexpensive public transportation.

Service: Extremely great service! All staff members are courteous and are very attentive to their guests' needs. Room: The room that we stayed in is clean and looked exactly like what was in the photos when I booked. The beds were comfy, a lot of cable channels available, bathroom was spacious and clean. Location: Located minutes away from everything that you need. Transportation is not a problem because the staff will call a taxi for you. Food: We ordered Lengua for dinner; it tasted really good and the price was reasonable. The buffet breakfast filled our hungry tummies really well. They served the usual breakfast: rice, bread (with a choice of butter and jam), egg, corned beef, longganisa, and soup (this is really delicious). Price: Reasonable for the perks (free breakfast and wifi) and the quality of service that they provide. All in all, I would definitely recommend Main Hotel and Suites. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Cebu!

We were looking for a place to stay in for a night when I saw Main Hotel in Agoda. The thing that caught my eyes first is the price. And then when I browsed the place, the room looked okay and they have free breakfast. The check in went very well, hassle-free and the receptionist was really accommodating. She welcomed us with a smile and instructed us thoroughly. We also asked for assistance for our baggages and she gladly helped us. And to our surprise, the room looked so clean, the beds are big enough for 4 persons. They gave us complimentary drinks and toiletries. The view looked so good most esp. morning and evening :) What makes us more amazed is that the breakfast is buffet and drinks are refillable <3 If I’m going back to CEBU, I will definitely book again here <3 Thank you Main Hotel and Suites <3 God bless you all

The Main is an excellent hotel and I'd recommend this hotel 'in the blink of an eye' to anyone planning on staying in Cebu City. The room was clean, smelt awesome, was big and well designed. Staff were most obliging. The hotel was within walking distance of a great mall with excellent food outlets. Taxis take you to the Ayala Centre in about 10mins and the hotel is about 30mins from Mactan International Airport. The Wifi connection was first rate (between 10Mbps and 18Mbps; very fast and reliable connection). I will stay here again when visiting Cebu City. Well done and congratulations to all concerned.

Let`s put it straight, this is a great deal in my view in Cebu. Not located in downtown Cebu, but still close access with a cab to Ayala, and also...if you can walk on a busy street of traffic you have access to a nice mall, and some good eateries. The staff is very professional, the rooms clean and tidy. Finally a hotel who understand that putting too much furniture inside the room will only make it smaller for the customer! The area is safe, the coffee shop serves simple but very fresh dishes. I am currently sitting here watching three staff-members polish windows outside like they expect a royal visit later today. Good wifi-connection and excellent choice of TV-channels. I was very happy to see that the high score on Agoda-reviews matched my experience. I will use them again.

Whether you are visiting Cebu for business or pleasure, this hidden little gem is certain to please. Sure you can easily spend more -- but isn't life about saving whilst enjoying. Simple café, clean comfortable lobby, helpful staff, clean rooms, affordable rates. We have stayed elsewhere; we have been in Cebu a dozen times this year -- Main Hotel and Suites deserves every polite compliment I make here.

This hotel has truly great staff (efficient, friendly, but very professional). The rooms are decent sized with through the wall A/C's that work well. They have very small refrigerators, they rooms have hot water for sink and shower. The free breakfast is ok but nothing special. The lock box you can request is really a joke (not big enough to fit in anything larger than a mini-iPad and is so lightweight it could easily be carried away or broken into with a hammer and screwdriver in one or two blows (at the most). The staff and cleanliness here really do make the difference - being so reasonably priced definitely makes it the only place I stay when in Cebu City.

The one thing that made this hotel the best for me was their staff. From the Security team to the Receptionists to the staff that came to clean our room and delivered our requests. They were all polite and made us feel welcome. Just a few things I'd like to point out (areas for opportunity) 1. There were black spots in the restroom walls that was not cleaned properly. It was just above eye level and might have been missed while cleaning. 2. We arrived early and had to pay an early check-in fee. I was with my Senior Parents and since I wanted to let them rest after our flight, I had no choice but to pay the fee. It would have been nice to be allowed to check-in early without paying any additional fees since It didn't look like it was a busy week. Overall I would love to choose this Hotel again should we return to Cebu. Thank you to all the Staff of Main Hotel and Suites!

Used this hotel as a hub for my travel around Southern Philippines. Located between the Cebu Airport and Cebu City makes it convenient. The downfall is the short access road getting to the hotel is sketchy. The hotel itself is a good value if you just want a clean room. Staff was accommodating in allowing us to leave a suitcase while going to other islands.

Except for the mishap in front of the hotel, which prompts the guests to walk towards the hotel, I can say that everything about the hotel is great. The staff were very accommodating and warm, and the location is great, not too far from all the happenings and tourist spots in the city, and yet, the place is quiet and relaxing, not affected by the busy city life. I will definitely book my next stay in Cebu here, and will recommend this to my friends as well. One thing though, breakfast is great but I suggest that they should have more choices or varieties.

We had spent 5 days with Main Hotel and Suites. I couldn't find any complain during we were staying. Price of staying there was good value for money. there isn't bad quality of hotel service. Hotel room was so clean. It looked like kind of brand new building. Every time, they smile and do their best even in early morning and late night. The location of hotel is quite out of the famous street. But you will see this place has good location as well if you new how to get there by taxi. And place of hotel has no noise sounds from out I honestly and sincerely recommend you that you should stay here !!

Main Hotel and Suites is located near the tech hub in Cebu, a place we were unfamiliar with. It is great for dining and bars. The staff make this place great. They are extremely helpful and considerate and went out of their way to help us. The only negative would be getting an empty jeepney or taxi from the main road. Being the week of Sinulog could have made this worse.

Value for the Money ”

My hubby and I had an overnight stay in this hotel which is close to the school where he will be taking the LET. Even for the rate, the hotel exceeds our expectations. I originally book for a queen room, which in the description doesn't have a ref available, but when we got inside the room, there was a ref inside. The A/C is a bit noisy, but I believe this is the tendency for window type ones so it didn't give a bad impression on us. WIFI access is available for all rooms free of charge and it's fast enough that I was able to download my fave TV series while waiting for my husband. Hotel staffs are friendly and attentive and most of all, we were granted a late checkout without additional charge! Good job Main Hotel and Suites staff. I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family!

Great Hotel will come back here next time we travel to Cebu”

Its a great hotel far from the busy traffic noise of highway. It's secluded and has a great ambiance good for relaxation after a long day of tour. We stayed here with my family 3 adults and 1 9 yr old grandson, we occupied their family room 6th floor. The room, was clean, neat, all toiletries prepared, big comfort room, small fridge, 2 double beds, thick blankets and everyday they clean our rooms we always get free bottled water, which we appreciate. Their customer service is great, my daughter needed to print our booking and they helped us, they let us use their computer to print our itineraries. Downside, the free use of computer they have in their restaurant is very slow and their cafeteria/restaurant is a bit small. Overall, we will go back to this hotel on our next travel to Cebu, we loved it there.

Hotel was well above expectations, Staff were helpful and polite, housekeeping was excellent, rooms large and comfortable and restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The drawback of being a little far out from the City was made good by a quickly arranged taxi service. Wifi was a bit spotty and varied between very fast and nothing - but many areas of Cebu were having wifi difficulties at that time....so probably the fault of the appallingly backward Phils telecom companies.

Comfortable, excellent staff service, good wifi”

I stayed at Main Hotel with my parents for about 3 days and we were very satisfied with our stay there. The Hotel receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, they would greet us with big smiles every time we passed through the lobby, asking us how was our day or what our plans were. Especially Shelly, who gave us the most help during our stay there. She willingly helped us organize and book our trips and never left us hanging. The hotel owner was also very helpful in giving us tips on what to do in Cebu. The wifi also worked very well in the hotel, expect for one time where it dropped out, but the staff had already noticed and restarted the internet by the time we called the reception. It was relatively easy to get to main attractions from this hotel. As said Ayala Mall is nearby, and honestly if you book tours, they come to your doorstep to pick you up anyway so you don;t really have to worry about transport. The hotel is also located on a side street so you don't get all the noise. It would be best to get their business card when you're there to show the taxi drivers where it is, some didnt know where the hotel was (i'm guessing they recently had their name changed) They also have cable Tv with loads of channels The downsides: Their breakfast is PRETTY limited. They have an option between a Filipino or Western style breakfast. The western breakfast isnt all that good, i persoanlly got pretty sick of it by the third morning. pretty salty too, but i feel like in general most filipino food is salty lol. So don't expect an amazing breakfast, but still its a very good hotel. Also we ended up buying our own soap and shampoo from the convenience store cuz we didnt really like the ones that were provided. But that's just a small gripe. Overall, i wouldnt mind staying here again

My Fiance & I stayed at this hotel for 8 days. The hotel is not on a main road so overall it's quiet. The hotel itself is nice and the staff is always friendly. It's not too far from SM Cebu City & Ayala Mall and it's walking distance to Country Mall. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location away from the main road. I had a good spacious room on the 4th floor with excellent views towards north Cebu and Mactan. It was very easy to relax there. They offer nice food for breakfast and dinner. The staff are very friendly, kind and provide a service with a smile. Recommended...
