Find hotels near Mae Hia in Chiang Mai, Thailand

We decided to stay here for 3 nights in the pool corner suite because of the good reviews from previous visitors. That was the best decision. The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with northern Thai arts and the whole place is scented with fresh flowers and aromatic plants. I love floated flower decoration in various places in the hotel. This is the kind of details that makes the place special, even though it is a fair bit of work comparing to simply putting cut flowers in a vase. The room itself was very spacious, clean, comfortable and very charming. Homely too at the same time. We stayed in the pool corner suite with nice view of serene pool amidst trees but the water was too cold to swim in. Bathroom was fantastic, huge, great water pressure and beautifully hot! Being high maintenance, I don't usually use shampoo/soap from hotel rooms but this hotel is an exception, I absolutely loved their shampoo, soap and hand cream. It helps that they also have spa business and care about their guests' wellbeing. The mosquitos in the bathroom botherd me a little that might be because we left door open to let enjoy fresh air and didn't use fly screen. The breakfast was made fresh from the order we put in the first night. Breakfast menu was good range and of high quality, served in the cosy breakfast room. The best thing in this hotel is staff. Being a small resort they recognised guests by name, face and room number from the first day we stay. Each time I asked for help, I got what I wanted and met with such spirit of hospitality. They always have time for us. I also loved the fact that they have beautiful northern Thai uniform. We brought in our own dinner (because I wanted northern Thai food but didn't want to go out again) which is prob not encouraged by other hotels but no problem here, we had a small but full kitchen and everthing we needed included the dining table for 8. They washes dishes too (just need to ask and tip house keeper a little).

this is a good value hotel if you are looking for a quiet&clean place to stay with all the essential functions for a resort-type hotel. location-wise, this place isn't far out and it is next to the chiang mai botanic garden but the place isn't on the main road so you need to have a transportation. the room itself is spacious and clean with a big shower. when i was there in dec 11, the services on everything were promptly and with smile and smile. in addition, the breakfast was big with good presentation and, best of all, refillable!

This place was awesome. The staff was just a delight and so welcoming. We had our three children (12, 9, 6) and they truly enjoyed it. Value- Great price for a great room. Location- Was outside of the main city but perfect for everything we wanted to do. A grocery store and some restaurants just a short walk away. Use the GRAB APP to get around if needed. Cleanliness- Very clean inside and out. Staff- Truly a remarkable group of people and very helpful. want to do something? Simply ask and they will take care of it for you if you have no plans. Facilities- Again, the place was simply awesome. (Note: if you have a long stay there is no place to wash, but this did not effect us.) Our trip to Thailand was a step to perfect because of this place. Be advised, also listed as Mina Garden Villa Resort.
