Find hotels near Mae Hi in Pai, Thailand

My name is sindy from thailand but lived in dubai for almost 10 years...... I found this hotel at Agoda website . It was very good service and the manager was very nice person and take good care of customer ...... The hotel was clean and comfort but just 1 small thing that the hotel location was out of the center but u can walk to to center 20 min in the winter time is good to walk..... Anyway during my stay over there with my best friend and my cunsin for 2 nights . I had great time over there and service was excellent ....pick up and drop off to the center and treat the customer very well ...... Thank u Khun Mae for take good care of us during my stay ...... If u want to stay quited place and nice resort this ll be good deal for u to stay over......

You can find alot of beautiful, serene and unwinding places around Pai and this is no exception. I'm writing this as I lay in the porch hammock next to our cosy chalet, complete with a bamboo shower. For no more than 300 baht you truly cannot believe how such an amazing place can be so cheap. However, this is Pai and this stunning guesthouse only compliments its epic landscape.

+ close to town and to the bars that are open the latest, + no noize from the bars, + great swimming pool (24/7), + very friendly staff (they give you discount before you even ask for it, + amazing food (western & thai), + very big bungalows, + pretty bathroom with very hot shower (if you choose), + garden where you can choose to sit in the shade or in the sun, + nice book exange, + not too busy ('cause there are only 8 bungalows, so book ahead), + cheap!! tbh for a double!!!

had such an amazing stay in Pai. I was only supposed to stay at SuanDoi for 3 nights then head back to Chiang Mai but decided to stay an extra 2 days. I stayed in the double twin bed because I wanted privacy and A/C, beds were very comfortable. definitely inexpensive for what you get! This place is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of town as its off in woods, yet a perfect 5min scooter ride from Walking street! And if you dont feel like going all the way to town for a Chang, there is a bar right on the grounds that serves beer and liquor. The hostels grounds are really nice with lots of trees and little nooks for you to sit around and read a book or something on a laid back day. My favorite part abot this place though is the people. The staff are so, so friendly and sweet. Enjoyed waking up in the morning and grabbing coffee and seeing some of the family hanging out, they always greeted me with smiles and a good morning. I hung out with Jü (bartender) and Anand (boyfriend of one of the women there) more than with other backpackers. They helped me out alot with finding places to eat and places to go see. Jü even took me out to see a waterfall and the bamboo bridge. The atmosphere alone will definitely sway me to stay here again when im in Pai! I will be back for sure!

Stayed here for one night during a motorbike trip around Chiang Mai area, and we were here for New Years Eve. This was the only place we booked in advance on the trip, as we planned to be in Pai for New Year and thought it would be busy. The resort was a little hard to find as it is on the edge of town, but we got there eventually. Being on the edge of town it is sort of set in some rice fields. It wasn't rice growing season when we were there but I can imagine that it would be very pretty when the rice is growing. There was some baby buffoloes around though which my girlfriend loved! The downside of being on the edge of town is that it's a little far to walk (though I guess we did end up walking home later that night), but the owners we really helping in giving us a ride into town earlier in the evening. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was basic but very tasty! And the cottages very clean and quiet. It was a nie place to relax for a night, very peaceful!

Kati and his staff were some of the most friendliest people we have encountered in Thailand. Always smiling, making jokes and willing to help out thy are what makes your stay great. We really didn't want to leave. We stayed in the concrete bungalows and they were very clean and comfortable. They have a sweet, raised pagoda with hammocks and pillows you can hang out in, and an awesome veggie restaurant is pretty close by (Earth Tone). All in all, highly recommended :)

Changpai Hill was a great place for us to stay. We loved it so much, we ended up extending two more nights than originally planned. Although outside of the actual town of Pai, the location is still great. You get to be away from the loud backpackers roaming the streets but can also walk into town if you want to join them. This place is up on a hill, and if you stay in the room with a terrace and have a motorbike, be prepared for some daunting uphill and downhill drives. Breakfast provided on a terrace overlooking the hills of Pai is hard to beat, and was easily one of our best stays in all of our hotel experiences throughout Thailand and the rest of SE Asia.

When I arrived, the owner was away in Chiang Mai for a couple days but his friends came to check me in. I didn't yet have a scooter, so he gave me a ride downtown on his and showed me where I could rent one. WHen I offered him money for his time and kindness, he wouldn't take it and said it was just nice to make new friends. The next day the owners sister showed up in the morning. She made sure we had water, coffee and checked me into a new hut since the one I was in was invaded by ants in the night. No big deal, as when he returned, he refunded my money for the first night! The owner arrived later that evening and I did not see him until the morning. He was very apologetic about the ants the first night and like I said, refunded my money. He speaks a bit of english and we talked for awhile over coffee and cookies. A really nice perk for me were his two sweet cat's Meow Meow and Baby Meow. They were lovers and followed me around and laid on my lap whenever I sat down. I would stay with him again and recommend it to those of you who like to get away from busy Pai and are comfortable either renting a scooter or bicycle for transportation. Keep in mind they are rustic accomodations but with warm showers and a gracious host!

Aqua was truly paradise in Pai. Despite it being a little ways from the center of town, Den was always willing to transport you wherever you wanted to go. Renting a scooter or bike was the best choice. Walking is definitely doable for able bodied individuals. The grounds are gorgeous and a retreat in the jungle. Every morning Den and his staff greet you with fresh coffee grown on grounds or local tea. Highly recommended!

Ok so very nice hotel, my room was a king sized and included 2 towels , private bath too. The water heater didn’t work but Pai is hot so it’s ok. The STAFF is amazing, they gave me a ride into town my last day , i had to wake them up by knocking on their door at 6 am ish but they were so kind and service was great. Recommendations would be, investing in A/C for the pricier rooms, it’s not always cold in Pai specially this season. And also breakfast would be nice. Other than that, i would def stay and recommend! It’s a bit far from town, like 15-20 m walk, but you’ll rent a scooter either in town or in the hotel). Thank you guys!!
