Was cozy, inexpensive and close to everything
ice machine was broken, refrigerator broke but was replaced with a new one, no table to just sit or to eat take out food and pool was a block away at main hotel

Clean modern room. Cleaning staff checked in daily. Maintenance guy was helpful.
The traffic on the corner is very busy. The traffic on the bridge is very noisy. We had water at our door from the storm drain.

There was only 1 pillow each on the bed, we ended up using the throw pillows that were on the chair.. There was a kitchenette, but no coffee maker, utensils, plates or anything else.. At the location we were at there were no vending machines, ice machine...

Mostly updated, clean enough, good location for walking to almost everything you’d want to do while in OC
When we arrived the room was clean but the floor was covered in sand, there wasn’t a stove, the whole area floods bc of the tides, the bed was really just awful

The weather was great and we had a good time.”

It was not located where we thought it was in reference to the beach. The air conditioning was leaking on the bed and it did not cool the room. The room was never cleaned on a daily basis so we had the same sheets on the bed all week. And we had to find someone to bring us towels and toilet paper. We had to dump the trash and when we arrived the freezer was turned off.
The room was never swept and the sheets were never changed.

I would probably stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. It was decent.”

The room was pretty clean, we stayed in the smaller building which was less busy. The boardwalk was within walking distance as well. Not much parking available in the front of the building.
The only issue we had was our key cards kept deactivating so we had to go clear back to the main office 4 times to get new keys.

being on the end of the unit was a big plus.
The Wi-Fi situation was a little odd, we received the booklet telling us what to text to get the password however we weren’t told the name of the network. When we came back to the room at night and wanted to watch tv, it took a good bit of time to figure out how to get the tv to work. would also recommend adding two more pillows to the bed.

It was close to the bay. We were also close to the boardwalk.
If you’re under 25 just know they’ll put a $125 hold on your card. You have to check in at the Madison Beach Motel, we weren’t told that so we had to ask our “neighbors”.
