I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Mannyag Pension House is for the money.

Had a great stay. The place was very clean and well-maintained and the staff was very nice and approachable. Location was also great and very accessible. Did not even expect to experience peace during my stay. (like you're not in the city) Truly home away from home.

The location is near Mandaue cemetery. No commercial establishments nearby. The hostel seemed to be an old wooden house that has been transformed into a hostel; the floor at the second floor is made on wood, the water supply is so low, it take ages before it completely fill the pale. If you want to stay in an area where you are in the middle of a residential area, this is the right place, but if you want to stay closer to some commercial establishments then look for another hostel.

Feels like home”

Had to extend my stay one more day and was very satisfied with everything; from the location, cleanliness, customer service. I was surprised to experience all of the excellent services at a very affordable price. Would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends :)

Cheap but nice. ”

Parking lot seems need to improve or may indicate ' no parking space' at the description or facilities of the hotel which gave us a conclusion that they have enough parking space for our car.

Terrible Customer Service”

I accidentally booked the same room twice because the Agoda app crashed, and my first booking did not show up before I booked it again once I re-opened the app. I mentioned this to the lady at the desk at check in and she told me there was nothing she could do and told me I would have to call Agoda. I did, and Agoda had to request a refund from them on my behalf, which they refused. So I ended up paying twice for a room that wasn't cleaned, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom, and my room was right outside the chill area where people decided to have loud conversations first thing in the morning. The water refill station was not free, and did not work once I paid either. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a private room for once, but I judge places on their customer service more than anything, so this place is in my bad books for my experience with them.

The neighbor is playing some kind of 12AM ritual that it was too loud that will take 30 minutes. I think the neighbor is a catholic and plays prayer for rosary. I'm a catholic too but listening that ritual for 3 consecutive night won't make me sleep and would cause annoyance.

Pros: you can check in any time. Check in and out is flexible Cons: 1. Price - i paid 1097 for an overnight stay. Seems cheap considering that it is near the airport. But: a. Room is so small. Different from what is stated on their advertisement. Dusty. Soiled towel is still inside the bathroom when we came. I dunno if they cleaned it before they gave it to us. No window grills. It makes you feel someone is watching you and waiting to enter your room when you fall asleep. Bed mattress is so thin. You can feel the wooden bed frame. b. No cable or tv plus. c. Aircon. I think it's tims for an upgrade. It can longer serve the purpose of cooling the room. Maybe a fan would be a better. Hulas na hulas kami bes. d. Cold shower only e. Only one power outlet 2. Guard is sleeping on duty. He doesnt bother who enters or leave the pensionne. He sits in front of the CCTV monitor but fast asleep. You cant feel secure when you have a sleeeping guard on duty. 3. No wifi. 4. Unapproachable staffs
