"We arrived at the Koh Phangan jetty and rented a 4x4 car for about USD 40 per day. The resort does provide pickup service from the jetty (chargeable per person per way) but if you have more than 4 persons it is better to rent a 4x4 car. The distance from the jetty to the resort is quite far but the traffic and road condition is consider good except that you need to drive through a jungle track (quite a distance and it is advised to bring your GPS device together). Once we arrived at the resort, everything is wonderful, the room, the ocean view, the surroundings…etc. We just stay at the resort for 2 nights and would like to come back again. One of the best resort in Koh Phangan and highly recommended."

"One of the best hotels i stayed the last years, and we stay in a lot of hotels, very friendly and helpful staff, nice private beach, some corals next to beach. The only downside of the hotel its quiet isolated in koh phangan, the roads to the hotel are in very bad condition. Amazing breakfast as amazing swimming pool, but most likely you will use your private swimming pool if you stay in the villas. I would really book a villa, as the normal rooms are quiet far up in the hills, so you walk a while to the beach. From the villas you can access the beach within 3-4 minutes. Booked hotel trips quiet expensive, better to chilla and relax in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"We had 6 nights at Kupu Kupu Koh Phangan. Everything, from the small things like bed sheets, night snacks with a little story, every little detail was well thought threw. The staff was amazing. Always very helpfull and kind, always smiling and saying hello/see wa dee. It is pricey, but it definantly is the best hotel on the entire island. I’ve been a lot of places, hotels/resorts. And this is, by far, the best and most luxurious place i’ve ever been. They are so attentive of their gusets. We rented a scooter threw the hotel, same price as everywhere else, but the scooter comes straight to the lobby. You pay when you are done (1, 2, 3, or more days) just call the lobby from 8am and they’ll come and pick the scooter and the money for the days you’ve used the scooter. Breakfast is AMAZING! The egg station, makes an amazing omelet. The croissants tastes so good. They have a really good salami. Fruit is delicious. When i go back to Koh Phangan, i’ll with no doubt, stay at Kupu Kupu."

"Excellent hotel. Really is nice to see some well thought out hotel on KP now. Most hotels are of the bargain style. The Zee hotel isnt that, the food, staff and decor are excellent. I'd 100% stay here again when in KP."

"Fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated and well located in a very peaceful area in Koh Phangan, away from the noise and the crowd. The villas with private pool are unbelievable: it makes you feel like you've rented a whole house and not a hotel room. The service level is extremely high (Apple TV in the room with a wide range of movies and music for free, free liquour and appetizers, espresso coffee machine,...) and all that for a price you won't get anywhere else. The only 'not so positive' highlight was the food (breakfast), which I found was not up to the hotel standard. Important to mention that only 5 minutes away from the hotel you will find 2 of the best restaurants in the whole island (Betterthansex and Luna), both great value for money."

"This could be a dreamy place, if only the owners where honest people: a. the place is entirely under construction, with tens of thai workers operating loud machinary - and it is not written in any place on their page. b. make sure you get what you want. they mix pictures and when you are already there they give you a villa which looks nothing like what you wanted, then "upgrade you" for extra 10,000 baht c. want a peaceful quiet villa? pay 9000 baht more. d. don't expect any cleaning service. oh, sure you pay for it (as they promise) what they don't say is that it's only every 4 days. e. the manager Evan is the worst. it looks like he thinks his job is to make a fool our of you, making everything possible for you to suffer in your vacation. f. such places need to shape up. the era of acting unprofessional and succeding is long gone. Last thing: never pay these guys in advance!"

"Great view, calm location, stayed there alone with no neighbors. Great plasma tv with netflix. So 2021 started pretty good, was a great price discount 100 steps to walk to the house but i like to walk"
