"On a self-drive trip to Malaysia and stopped over in Ipoh for a night. Made a good decision to book a family room at Best Western Premier The Haven. Met friendly staff, hotel environment was great, room was clean and spacious. Breakfast spread and quality were good. Will book this same place again when I next travel to Ipoh."

"The best guest house i’ve ever had in my life. The hotel sevices, cleanliness tiptop, free parking lot, the room smells nice with the essential oil, the staffs are so friendly. They even have facial spa, body massage at same place. I experienced both services unexpected 10/10 for the treatments given. Really will repeat it again if I come to Ipoh. "Stayed for 2 nights with mg daughter last Dec 23 to 25. Location deserves 5 stars! The room was very cozy and there was not much guest at that time so we had the communal area by ourselves most of the time. I loved relaxing on the hammock and reading a good book. The good wifi connection was a bonus! The best part was the friendly staffs who helped my keep my Christmas present for my daughter until Christmas eve. Will definitely stay there again when we go to Ipoh. "

"This resort offers modern and ultra luxe accommodation right in the middle of the limes stone mountains of Ipoh. Surrounding the natural hot spring fed lake are private villas where guests can enjoy its beauty and harmony with nature and the experience just did not stop there. There is a cozy and swanky restaurant right inside a cave where you can enjoy probably one of the most romantic candle lit dinner ever. Each villa comes with two private pools, one of which has warm water coming from the hot spring. Due to its unique location, the resort is a little isolated from Ipoh town center but it has shuttle taking guest to nearby supermarket. This is the best place for a relaxing and holistic vacation where there are many places within the resort compound for meditation and yoga. It's about 20 minute taxi ride from Ipoh train station and near the Kuala Lumpur-Penang Expressway. Staffs are very friendly and helpful..especially one of the gentleman working at the restaurant and the cave restaurant as well! "

"I would describe this as a 5 star dorm/heaven for backpackers.Super comfortable,spacious mattress,with nice pillows,private curtain for own privacy,great hot shower and well equipped toilet,with own locker to put your luggage.Everything is well thought of.Downstairs is a cafe with great food and desserts.Excellent thing is the location is right in the heart of old town,where all the main attraction is walking distance.Train station is just 5 minutes walking.Of all these awesome amenities,the best thing during my stay is the generosity of the owner.I had a terrible headache,and he helped me to buy dinner and medicine,that I thought of utmost kindness of an owner of a guesthouse can be,that beats the service of a 5 star hotel.Great hospitality that is rare nowadays.I highly recommend to stay here,and definitely will stay here in Ipoh in the future.Thank you so much!😀"
