EXCELLENT SERVICE, AFFORDABLE PRICE”

LOVE IT TOO MUCH! All the staff was very friendly (especially Mas Tegar), very good services, get free upgrade room at that time, cleanliness level 100, good condition free bicycle (this is important since you can only use bike/horses at Gili Island). If there's 10 stars that I can give to lumi, I will give haha but no offense, love this hotel that much, will definetly back to gili & lumi. For those who enjoy leisure, their services as good as Aman group (I'm not kidding). Oh 1 thing that you may consider: lumi pretty much far from the dock, so it may takes approximately 15-20 minutes from dock to the hotel, but for their excellent services: noprob at all.

The best place in Gili Trawangan”

A lot can be said for Lumi and it's staff but hands-down they made our holiday one of our best ever. From the moment we arrived in Lombok on our way to Gili to our pick-up at the harbour to the welcome at the resort, everything was done by Lumi to make our arrival great. The rooms were cleaned and prepped for the evening everyday, the staff was super helpful and they helped us out tremendously with any needs we had with our baby (food/laundry etc). The restaurant has an amazing spread on their menu with great food from all over the world which was super tasty, the pool is amazing with a cold and warm area, views on the sunset/beach, the drinks were perfect, basically everything was buttoned up, 5-star service. Final cherry on top was the cake they made as a surprise to our son who celebrated his birthday there. I'll be definitely back and am actually already looking forward to it.

Perfect place to stay ”

The cabins are beautiful and really well styled. Slightly on the small side but we had a lot of luggage. We’ve been travelling for 4 months and this hotel has the comfiest bed we have stayed in yet. Great mattress and pillows! The food is excellent. Always cooked well and very flavoursome. The Menu is decent too. Good selection of cocktails and ‘western’ coffee from the pool bar. Personally I find Balinese and Lombok coffee far too strong. The only ‘down side’ is the lighting outside the cabins which comes on automatically throughout the complex and stays on all night. It makes the rooms quite light so bear this in mind if you want complete blackout. It doubled up as a night light which benefited us as we were travelling with a six month old. Location is on the opposite side of the Island to the harbour which is approximately a 20 min bike/ horse and cart ride away.

nice new hotel and very friendly staff. room is nice but at night the light that put around the house is way too bright so we have to call reception to turn it off. breakfast was great.location is quite far from harbor and main area. hotel provide you bicycle but road is really bad so please be prepare.

A few days in paradise.”

We booked for 2 nights, and stayed for 4. The general ambiance , Happy ,friendy staff, magnificent sunsets, great music, superb cuisine, cleanliness of kitchens, pool, and (what we hadn’t expected,),, was the just the ‘fun ‘ of the place. It was easy to chat with other guests as everyone was enjoying the general experience. Not to say least the ‘sundowner cocktails’. A memorable experience. Thank you!

Great Getaway”

Located right in front of the beach. A very relaxing vibe with a fantastic staff. Free bike rentals and offered a welcome drink for our arrival. Menu option is a little high and excludes the service and tax charge. Heated swimming pool too. Recommended if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the days swimming and lounging around.

Horrible service”

First day I was charged 120k to rent a bike, second day it was all of a sudden free. They removed our lock and let another guest put theirs on it. Sold as a boat ticket at a ridicilous price compared to other places, promised it was a direct trip that was gonna take 2 hours, the trip had three stops and took 4.5 hours. Cocktails are double price compared to every other place on the island. "Far away" from everything else on the island. At least the room is cute.

Please clarify before booking the pictures doesn’t match the booking category room. Super cute cottages super peaceful the staff really helped us with the situation i faced . The location is far from center but they give free bikes to explore everywhere if not you cant rent one . Location and wrong pictures are the only too problems i faces rest it was amazing

Beautiful resort ”

Pretty new and well maintained resort, quiet location with amazing sunsets, pool and villas are the highlight. There aren’t bikes for all guests to go to town , so be prepared to hire your own , food is expensive for Gili standards and not that good , recommended nevertheless

Relaxing hotel”

Hotel lumi is situated in the quite side of the island and by far 1 of the nicest place to stay post covid time. Very good if you want to stay away from the party and loud noice near the harbour. This hotel is super clean with a boho feel! The breakfirst is good and the dinner even better. It was very hard to find good food on the island but hotel lumi burgers where one of the best I ever had. If you want to venture out into the other side of the island they will provide you with bikes free of charge. We initially booked for 1 night and expanded our stay for an other 2 nights

2 day stay”

Would recommend this hotel. It’s a short journey from the main harbour. Pool over looks the sea and rooms are clean and tidy. Stayed in a superior deluxe bungalow which was quite. Staff are helpful and breakfast is spot on. Recommend that you grab a hotel bike to explore the island go snorkel or dive. Coral reef had loads of turtles and only a 20 min bike ride from the hotel.

Great place to enjoy Sunset”

I stayed at Hotel Lumi 2nights at Cottage room. Very impressed about detail interior equipment in room that they have, like sink, bath room mirror, shower, netflix TV and their Pillow so comfy. Me and friends always waiting sunset moment in Skinny dip beach club, the sunset view over your face is very beautiful. The staff also very friendly. Thanks to Luthfi (reception) and Agus (Hotel staff), they are very friendly and helpfull. Eventhough during outside the hotel, Agus always help us. A little feedback for Hotel Lumi for improvement, I think you should concern for quality (taste) of your food, For restaurant and for skinny dip beach club menu. Overall me and friends very enjoy to stay at Hotel Lumi.
