Charming hotel w/ the warmth you expect from Bali”
Friendly, service-oriented, charming, friendly...these are the words that come to mind when I think of Luce D'Alma. The staff here are happy to serve & will go to great lengths to ensure that every aspect of your stay is exemplary. The food is delicious (definitely try the coffee cakes & pancakes), room was spotless, the pool is well maintained, the spa is basic but the service is excellent. A staff member organized a snorkeling trip for us & provided us with a refund when one of us fell ill on the day of the excursion - no questions asked.

Amazing villas”
Luce d'Alma is the perfect place to scape for a break. The hotel has everything you need, great facilities, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly. The only downside is the location, be prepare to walk...only 10 minutes from busy town centre, but you will be sorted with a bike provided by the hotel. Would defenetely recommend this place

Outstanding Service”
I stayed all over Bali and only stayed at 5 star resorts. Luce d'Alma truly has world class service and beats out all the other hotels we stayed at in terms of service. The staff is so accommodating and thoughtful we were taken aback. Highly recommend.

Probably the best on gili”
Me and my girlfriend stayed in Luce dalma for the 2nd time after 2010 and again were not let down. From friendly staff to a great clean pool n simply fantastic rooms we had all we wanted. the rooms are big and if you get one of the 2 bungalows at the end you basically have your own villa and private pool. Bathrooms are as big as some small rooms in hongkong with good finishing and you get a solid rain shower. Separate sleeping and living room incl little outside area for tanning sleeping or reading just round up the rooms. That the place is a but off the track is nothing negative as its nice to be a but away from the main area with pubs backpackers n music. A few minutes longer by bike or horse are not so bad either. If we ever come back to gili we very likely choose like dalma again. Don't expect great food or a fancy gym. Both are rather basic - as what you would expect on gili. But all else deserve 5 stars - gili standard.

Lovely hotel and outstanding helpful staff. located a seven minute bike ride from the beach. hotel has private beach where you can stash your stuff and lounge. hotel is a beautiful design. outstanding staff. huge rooms. cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. only down side is gili T. crowded. dead coral overrated diving. nothing to do unless you enjoy drinking smoking and lounging. burning garbage made it unpleasant to sit by pool or be outside generally unless you were in breeze by beach. entire interior of the island is smokey dusty and felt unhealthy to breath. luckily Luce Dalma is so beautiful we had a lovely respite in our room when we weren't snorkeling and diving or riding bikes or running around the island. bikes provided for free by hotel comfortable and in good working order. lock provided too.

Far and dark roads at night”
It was the first time we stayed in Gili Trawangan and chose Luce D'Alma for 3 days. Cons: when we traveled at night using bicycle, there were no lights available down the road and it wasn't safe at all with bumpy roads and stones for construction on the roads (should get a lamp for bicycle). Our final day was greeted by dead cockroaches around the private pool and terrace (lucky they're all dead :)). Pros: Staffs were nice, polite and helpful. Clean and tidy room. Free bicycle for daily transport.

Super Romantic, Modern.. Only Far from the beach”
The hotel room is like villa..very uniques interior, so romantic and the room was larger... and when you open the side door, you will directly find the pool.. Super! and the pool was large. The only minus is the location. It was 5 minute away from the beach by bicycle and the location is quite secluded. But it was paid off with the beauty of the hotel. I suggest you take cidomo (horse cab) to reach the hotel from the beach. The hotel also have their private beach..it is nice as well and not far from the attraction in Gili Trawangan... I highly recommend this hotel for couples.. not for family with baby.. but if you insist better you take cidomo to take you around.... Thanks Luce!! very nice hotel

Quiet and Tranquil ”
Even though the resort is set off the main strip if Gilli T this had pros and cons- it was tranquil, private and away from the "buzz" it just made going out at night a bit more difficult as the path home was not well lit and it was a dangerous bike ride at times with road conditions. It was best to hire a local horse taxi in this case. The private beach and bar was great. The room was so lovely it was hard to leave sometimes and we certainly got the restful holiday we were looking for. Gilli T is brilliant for snorkelling and diving as well and even though we were there in Jan ( Wet season) we had mostly sunny days and good ocean visibility. The locals are lovely and really appreciate when you speak Bahasa to them. We were sad to leave Luce Dalma and plan to return.

Piece of paradise”
I work in the hotel industry in a different country. I have no relation to the owners of this hotel, but this does change my views. I stayed two extra days on Trawangan just because of this hotel. The bungalows are simply gorgeous. The pool right next to your room is fantastic. The service was top notch. Overall it was stellar. The only two negative points: The water pressure wasn't enough to poor yourself a bath (in spite of having a bathtub), and the Wifi wasn't much good. I will be back.

Beautiful resort ”
The hotel is about 5-8 minute bike ride from the main strip. When we first got here we were a bit sketchy about its location. Then we realised it was perfectly set back from the noise and chaoticness of the strip. The only trouble we had getting back to the hotel from the main strip was at night after a few drinks.. Ha ha. The staff were lovely and the rooms are cleaned twice a day. The only issue we had is on our last night the air cons in our room weren't working as well as they were the last 3 days but reception said it was due to bad power supply to the island and all the resorts were experiencing the issue (which isn't the resorts fault). All up we had an amazing stay here. We originally booked two nights and ending up extending it to four!

Great staff, great place. Really peaceful in Gili T, a bit away from the bustle. Not far to the beach, a bit of a walk to the busy part of town, but I personally liked that as it means it's a relaxing oasis to return to after a day on the beach or a night out. Plus they have free bikes if you want to use those to speed things up! I rarely return anywhere as I like to try new places, but couldn't resist coming back because the staff here are really so lovely (the loveliest!) and the place is great. Very clean indeed, lovely, luxurious, spacious rooms, stylish - what more can you ask for? Thank you to the team for another lovely stay - wish I had had time to stay longer!

Great hotel for young couples/singles”
Luce D'alma is a great Italian owned hotel with one big shared pool that all villas touch which means you can swim last and say hello to your neighbours. Breakfast was not very impressive and not a lot lf other stuff to do but overall good value. Fantastic room.

Best pool ever - nice quiet location”
Great quiet location on the island, yet only a short bike ride away from the main strip of restaurants and spas. Very attentive staff both at the hotel and the private beach. Spa prices are the same as in public spas. The huge pool was amazing.

Great find”
A great boutique hotel. Lovely rooms, helpful staff. Totally enjoyed our stay. Not many streetlights make it hard to ride your bike at night and go out for a meal- so we stayed at the hotel mainly, but the choice of food wasn't all that great. Still, considering it's a small hotel they're doing really well. Very good massages although the spa needs some TLC. The gym facilities were pretty poor. Go for a swim in the 80m pool instead!

Lovely place”
The rooms are spacious and clean, the service is incredible and the pool is just amazing! Had a great experience with my girlfriend, the only thing that could use an improvement is the gym. The gym is simply a few old machines which aren't maintained well and are falling half apart. Also we had a shower door which didn't worked, so during every shower the whole bathroom floor got soaking wet.. The wifi signal was pretty bad, didn't worked in the living room at all. Eventhough I would come back since the resort can fix all of those things to make a customer experience even better!

Modern spacious rooms with direct pool access”
LOCATION: About 1.5kms from the boat drop off point. If you take the early boat (9.30am) you arrive at roughly 12pm. You will need to take a horse drawn carriage if you have luggage as the roads are bumpy / unpaved. From the hotel you have free use of the push bikes and it's a short ride to the beach where the hotel has lounge chairs and a bar setup. You can hire snorkel gear and they give you a lock so noone steals your bike. Away from the noise / action. ROOMS: Spacious! clean! beautifully furnished / decorated with a separate lounge room. Huge bathroom with his / her sinks, and separate shower / bath. Direct access to the pool, every room has two lounge chairs and towels are provided. There is a DVD player in the room also. FACILITIES: I had a one hour massage at the spa which was lovely and we ordered room service for breakfast. The servings are small but ample. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You can borrow books from the small library near the reception desk.

Amazing hotel - better than in pictures”
Run by an Italian, this resort has all the look and feel you would expect. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the owner is always around and treats you Like a king. The food is delicious. This hotel met more than our expectations. It was worth every penny. The pool is absolutely beautiful, much better than on the pictures. You can rent free bikes to go into town or to the beach. Hotel has a very nice private area in the beach as well.

Wonderful Stay”
My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and decided to book this place online because the pictures looked nice. Well, we decided to prolong our stay for 4 more nights. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were huge with a lounge type wood aesthetic, and the pool was stunning and long enough to swim up and down. What most impressed me was how clean the room was upon first entry, and furthermore, how clean the rooms were each and everyday afterwards. It was as if each new day was our first day at the hotel. The floors were cleaned everyday, the bed was made with a finishing touch of flowers, everything was refilled and restocked, and our clothes were folded. The breakfast was enjoyable and we even received a free heart shaped cake surprise delivered to our door on Valentines day. The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Little things like offering free movies to watch, books to read, bikes to ride, and warm hellos really go a long way in the overall experience. The only downside is that the hotel could be in a little better of a location. I personally loved that it was farther away from the parties and the music on the beach, but the roads were very muddy and bumpy making the commute to the beach a little troublesome. Other than that, I have only praise for the place.

Lovely boutique hotel in Gili Trawangan”
Although we only stayed for a night here, we had a wonderful time. The rooms were great and the pool was wonderful! You can jump right in the pool from your room balcony! The breakfast was Great as well and the service of the staff superb. The only set back of this hotel, a quite a big one, is its location. It's about 800 meters away to the beach area, so that's a 5-10 minute walk to get to where the action is. But they do provide free bikes. But it's still a 5 minute ride. So you need the horse rickshaws to get here if you have a big luggage. That will set you back 10USD roundtrip. But if you just plan to relax and stay in the resort, you could very well do that and have a quiet, relaxing stay ...

Amazing Resort and people - location is depending on what you are looking for”
the resort offered everything you need. Really neat and clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Great service. Location is depending on what you are looking for. Its not directly at the party mile (east beach front). It's in the middle of the island, 5-10 minutes by bike to east or west side and bikes are for free in the hotel.
