Clean and friendly staff. They even provided free dinner on one Sunday evening. The thing is long street itself is not a? good place with too many beggars and pickpockets.

Amazing location, great place.. Best thing is best staff i have ever seen.. Very clean.. Happening place.. Heart of city.. Safe to be on road even at night.. Recommended only if u r a solo traveller.. The place has separate single rooms, double rooms and dorms also.. So u can chose what best u feel..

Best choice in long street ”

Very safe and clean cozy room, by the way, No. 12 is the best with 4 bed. I went there twice for 2 nights each,wish I can stay longer. People there r very kind especially the guards. Thx all~~~

They don't take South Africans "without passports"”

I have a passport, but didn't bring it to town because who carries their passport in their own country. I used my national ID to board the plane. Yet, this is not enough for a backpacking joint. This establishment claims that for safety reasons, they have to reject anyone without a passport. Draw your own conclusions.

even the atmosphere in the hostel is great, the rooms are pretty awful. Beds are old and uncomfortable, the courtins haven't been cleaned in ages and the smoke smell covers everything. Bathrooms aren't better. Not only because there was only one for 10 people but because of the mustiness covering the shower walls. Really desgusting.

我是独行女生，总共在这里4晚、帅哥很多，非常养眼、随便调戏……哈哈哈、安全养眼位置方便、走出去一点就是hop-on hop-off的红色旅游车售票点，附近有pick and pay大超市、青旅有阳台，外面就是酒吧街，景致不错。

在开普敦的住宿都在这、本来订了别墅最后也让我给退了、因为这里实在是太方便，小伙伴们也很好，和很多人交谈，晚上还有酒吧，二楼有阳台和桌球，每周日有免费汤，老板、前台和守卫，每个人都很棒。这里也很安全，到市区的所有景点几乎都可以步行到达，还有充足的热水，非常推荐。

Great location in the city center...walk distance to almost all attractions in downtown ~~~I really appreciate the help of Gerace,he is a nice guy who always be kind. I like his earring by the way very special. Also he is cool as an artist and does well in painting!
