Great location”

londres et new york is a dated hotel in a wonderful location. near to major shopping malls like printemps and galeries lafayette (a mere 5 mins walk). metro is just a stone throw away which make it easy to explore the city. hotel is dated though with limited facilities. no complains if you're simply looking for a place to rest..and to explore paris.

In Love With Paris”

My first stay in Paris was a great one. Armed with information that hotels in Paris are small and old. I was mentally prepared. To my surprise, this hotel was clean and although i am not too sure how old this hotel was, it was really new and all the fittings inside were outstanding, or perhaps, well looked after. Space was tiny, but not as small as i thought. location was great as my wife and myself were able to move around Paris via bus, Metro and RER. As as result, we were able to see as much of Paris in less than 5 days. Food were easily available with Chinese, Italian and obviously French varieties on offer. The walking distance to Layfettes, etc were big plus for our Leather goods shopping. All the best of Paris were communicated effective to us by the front desk who spoke great English.

Small, Clean Room at a great location~”

Room was small as you would expect in Paris nonetheless it was clean and very handy. Concierge could speak English fluently and was very helpful. The only downside was the small old elevator which freaked us out a bit but that's really not a big deal. Central location with Opera 10mins away by foot also close to two major shopping malls...Printemps and Lafayette!! Breakfast was 14E buffet..there were plenty to eat ...seems reasonable consider the cost of everything in Paris, we definitely thought it was worth having. Hot water jug was available for us to boil water and make tea. (Not all hotel provide this in Europe!)

Great mid-size hotel for a quick stay in Paris”

Perfect location - Metro station and railway station right in front of the hotel. Very comfortable rooms with great amenities - tea/coffe; work desk, quiet room - front desk staff helpful and speaks English. Some great shopping nearby and lots of restaurants, cafes etc. - a great find in Paris for a reasonable price.

Great location with great rooms”

Hotel right in front of train station Saint Lazare, very convenient to go around in Paris via their Metro. Alot of restaurants especially the great fresh seafood once you turn right from the hotel door. Room is also very clean and quiet, though abit small but very functional.

Excellent location and great staff”

This hotel is just stone throw away from the metro and bus station. It is extremely convenient for those who would like to travel around Paris downtown by public transport. Major shopping complexes is within walking distance. You can have breakfast few doors away from hotel entrance. Inside the hotel, front desk was very helpful and the room is spacious.

Location very good”

Small lift and lobby , but staff very friendly ,room very clean including toilette,excellent lactation for shopping and the department stores such as Galleries Lafayette and Prim's are very close and walking distance to many tourist attraction Breakfast in hotel is typical continental and a bit expensive ,but there are many places nearby where you can find more selection and a lot of nice restaurants a great inconvenience is parking to load and download luggage but the hotel is in the heart of Paris and certainly will stay again

All are perfect except for the air-conidtioner”

The room is spacious and tidy with good accessibility to different locations. The only thing that will deduct the rating is the air-conditioner, which will spray lots of dust when on and there is a bad smell. Aside from this, everything was perfect! I will still recommend my friends or family to stay here when they visit Paris.

It was fabulous as my room had a balcony which faces the street. The view makes it so lovely as there are many activities going on. Lovely buildings surrounding the hotel which gives it such a Parisian field ! Cosy rooms and nice staff too 😊

A very comfortable room and easy access”

When we first arrive, the receiptionist gave us a 'cold' response and not so friendly. But after awhile he was okay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The WIFI service was splendid. Airport transport was available. On top of all, shops, sightseeing places ,taxis, train station are all walking distance which is a big plus to this hotel.

A great stay,very close to all the main shopping centres.There were lots of local restaurants close by.The train station was directly opposite the hotel and was easy for transport purposes. The hotek itself was great in terms of comfort and facilities.

Great location”

Hotel location is quite convenient. I was given a smaller room (smaller than what I have paid) when I first checked in. The staff arranged another room for me when I told him about the mistake he made. Cleanliness of the hotel is ok. Not great but OK! Staff was polite.

wonderful location”

its very very convenient as its within walking distance to gallery lafayett, printemps and just 10 mins to the eurostar station. but be warned the metro can be daunting in paris

Great location but small rooms”

i am staying one night at londres. the frontdesk is quite helpfull. can speak a command english. the room is small but clean. the location is great. with the price i pay, it is consider quite resonable.

Good location”

My stay was a pleasant one especially when I'm in Paris for just one night and needed to do some shopping urgently. The location of the hotel was close to Printemps and Galleries La Fayed. The room was definitely a 3 star hotel room but I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room which is bigger than what I had expected. On the downside, I had to wait for about 10mins to get checked in as there was only 1 person manning the reception and he was on the phone for the whole 10mins.

Good Location, VERY RUDE receptionist!”

After 11 hours of travelling with infants and lots of luggage, cabs and flights, you arrive to your hotel and are greeted by the rudest receptionist! He was very rude, threw his pen and shouted what is this nonsense, gave a nasty stare at my kids playing in the reception area and told me off! My crime, I booked a double room for my wife and myself and didn’t mention I had a 5yr child & 1yr infant. After 30mins he concluded that 50euro extra per nite for an extra bed was the solution. The same could have been handled more politely. Otherwise, good hotel, good location, neat and clean, spacious rooms.

Spacious room, good location”

Just a walking distance to Galeries Lafayette and Opera House. St Lazarre metro station right in front of the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean. I requested a room facing the streets and it was beautiful in the morning to watch people from the window. The only problem would be the vibration of the train passing by since we stayed in lower level.

Comfortable stay beside Gare St Lazare”

Good location - just beside the St Lazare metro station and a 2 minute walk to the St Lazare railway station. Plenty of shops in the vicinity. Triple sharing room was fairly spacious for Paris standards. Toilet was clean and functional. Reception was a hit and miss - some were helpful and some were not.

It's not hotel problem but it was difficult to find a proper exit of RER. The exit is in front of the hotel but didn't know where was the proper exit. The price was reasonable thinking about the location and security.

Simple, centrally located hotel”

My stay was fine. Room size was adequate. Bathroom was surprisingly modern and revamped compared with the rest of the hotel that is very dated and needing a revamp. The room had a small fridge which I only discovered after I opened the cupboards much later. More than adequate for a short stay. A very short walk across Blvd Haussmann into Rue D'lacarde I found Berts for a great coffee and Pompei for great dinners. Only one big problem is that the rooms are not sound proof so you hear the other guests banging their doors at all hours and the hotel is above the underground so you hear the trains and feel the vibration most of the time.
