Memorable. The moment on arrival, we knew we had made the right choice the smiling staff were there to greet us, & that smiley service remained for whole duration of our stay. In fact we only booked to stay 2 nights of our 10 day road trip & ended up staying 5 nights. The staff, that also includes the owner/managers could not do enough to help us, they provided all the services you would expect from a resort style concierge. We never expect fluent English from the Thai, but their English was good. We all had some laughs learning a few new Thai/English words To us the Le Patta Hotel is more of a boutique style hotel, 40 rooms means it is not over run with droves of guest buzzing around like the middle of Bangkok & does not have a 5 acre swimming pool. but it provides a very tranquil, Quiet & easily accessible place to stay. Le Patta is conveniently located just around the corner (yes walk) from the night bazaar, top restaurants, shops, lots of markets, day & night & many other tourist attractions. The room (being a brand new Hotel), was exceptionally clean, well designed, spacious, cosy king size bed, huge bathroom/shower, bedside controls for all the light & cooling, plenty of room to park your cases, free mini bar & so on. A well deserved 4 star rating at an incredibly good price. (Our room was the Deluxe.). Breakfast was al a carte; Thai, English & American but you could pretty much have any combo on the menu. & yes the breakfast service was excellent. Chiang Rai was a great home base to see all that Northern Thailand has to offer without spending all day on the road getting to and from the places of interest. Our 4th trip to Thailand. We have stayed in dozens of Hotel/Motels & this one was truly fantastic Thankyou La Patta.....Kop Khun Krub

Lovely and comfortable hotel”

Le Patta Chiang Rai exceeded my expectations. After spending several nights in hard beds and rustic accommodations elsewhere in Thailand, the modern yet welcoming design of Le Patta's room and their comfortable beds were a welcome pleasure. The hotel grounds and our room were spotless. The pool area, although small, is an inviting oasis that feels miles away from the city. However, the hotel is only steps from one of Chiang Rai's busiest streets, the night market, many restaurants, shopping and several attractions and temples. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Rai.

Terrific stay at Le Patta”

I booked Le Patta based on the many positive reviews on the various review websites. Everything turned out to be true. We thoroughly enjoyed out few nights. Very friendly, helpful staff - comfortable room and amenities, just a nice sized hotel in a good location in Chiang Rai. Really appreciated the hire bikes available. Chiang Rai is fairly flat and easily navigated on bikes - so if you are inclined, go for a spin. Morning is better due to heat which can really build up in the afternoon. Would stay at Le Patta again - highly recommended.

Highly recommended to stay in this boutique hotel”

Le Patta hotel was a great stay for me. I was a female solo traveler and I felt extremely safe and well taken care of throughout my 3 day 2 nights stay. They arranged level 1 room stay for me and knowing that I’m travelling alone, my room was highly visible from hotel lobby and there were 2 security Guards on shift. In addition, I was supposed to head to Chiang Mai from there but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel and head back to Singapore. Le Patta has been very helpful to make local calls to offices such as Bangkok Airways and Agoda so that I can verify the cancellations personally. I’m very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend anyone who wishes to stay in Chiang Rai to consider booking Le Patta.

Exceptional”

It was a spontaneous decision to drive to Chiang Rai and spend the night there. We were delighted to get a last minute booking at the Le Patta. It was a great decision on our part! The hotel is modern and stylish and centrally located with parking. The room was everything as suggested on the internet - clean and spacious with a small balcony overlooking the pool. We found all the staff to be attentive, thoughtful and courteous during our all too brief stay. They were helpful in ensuring that we made the most of our time in Chiang Rai with suggestions of things to do and see within walking distance of the hotel. They even provided my husband with a small gift on departure as it was his birthday! We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be exceptional. We look forward to taking advantage of the pool and gym on our next visit!

Superb!!! Simply Superb!!!”

Everything else is at par with a more expensive hotel brand. What sets Le Patta apart is the superb staff. The people are friendly, very accommodating and more than willing to go the extra mile to assist guests. This was my first time to travel alone to a place where I did not know anybody. It was a bit scary at first but the hotel staff immediately made me feel that I could count on them for any of my needs during my stay in Chiang Rai. I am definitely staying at Le Patta when I go back to Chiang Rai!!!

All perfect until the private transport service..”

I would applaud the hotel for its exceptional service standards, ambience, hi-tech infrastructures, and cleanliness. Hotel was kind enough to pick me up at the bus terminal after Green Bus company dishonoured on the booked trip on its VIP bus and left me stranded at their ticket counter. The property then connected me with a private transport service that costed me 2,500 Baht. Driver arrived at the hotel to pick me up with his female partner, seated in the front seat. All the way having his eyes fixated on her rather than the roads. Sitting at the back seat of the SUV, the journey became too bumpy and I fell sick from motion sickness. It only became better after I had demanded to swap my seat with her. I find Le Patta to be very professional in its delivery of service. Because of this, I regret to say that it was disappointing that it had connected me with an unprofessional transport service provider. My opinion as a fee-paying passenger was not sought as to whether I was comfortable for another passenger to join me in the vehicle. Chiang Rai has been disappointing for me as a tourist.

New Property - Clean, Super Location”

Booked 6 nights, only slept at the property for 3 nights as we traveled outside of Chiang Rai and overnighted elsewhere. I highly recommend this property if staying in Chiang Rai. Everything is clean and new! Absolutely worth the money and one can only hope the management can maintain the current hotel standards going forward. Must compliment the staff here whom are always most gracious, polite and willing to do anything within reason to please their guests. Certainly would return and recommend Le Patta as a top choice for Chiang Rai travelers.

Exceptional”

It was the second time we stayed at the Le Patta Hotel in Chiang Rai on a weekend getaway. We were extremely happy with our first visit a few months back and have no complaints about our second. The staff were pleasant, attentive and very helpful. We had booked one night initially as we had been able to secure two nights' accommodation. On arrival, when I mentioned our disappointment at not being able to stay the two nights, the staff were able to accommodate a second night's stay if we were willing to accept lesser standard of accommodation. We took advantage of the offer and the discounts offered to us. We like the central location of the hotel.

Relaxing stay in a new quality hotel”

We enjoyed this hotel and felt it was a good price. Very modern and new and a few minutes walk to the night market area. Morning breakfast was a very good simple buffet. The best thing about the hotel was the great staff. They went out of their way to be attentive and helpful. I don't give recommends easily but if we were in Chiang Rai again we would stay at Le Patta. We also recommend the Suwanee Thai cooking class the hotel arranged for us as its the best of several that I've taken while in Asia for the last 3 years.

Nice Hotel”

I thought Le Patta was a good value and the location for me was great. It was super clean and comfortable and I would stay there again. My room was on the backside of the hotel and just behind the building are local homes and one of the neighbor's dog would bark early each morning like a rooster on a farm. Also, the night market is also a couple blocks away directly behind the hotel and they provide local singing entertainment each night until pushing midnight which was somewhat unpleasant but that's just Chiang Rai. The complimentary breakfast features instant coffee and an assortment of items. They will make you eggs of your choice and had some not quite cooked bacon which is not recommended and various Asian items are displayed as well. I ate there the first two days I was there but went to a place with better food and wonderful coffee after that. I would definitely stay there again but forget the breakfast entirely.

Excellent classy hotel at reasonable price”

Had a 2 night stay here with my elderly parents when touring Chiang Rai. This is a lovely hotel in Chiang Rai city, walking distance to the Chiang Rai night bazaar. Hotel staff spoke good English and were very smiley and friendly. We could feel that they were eager to please the guests with their prompt service and pleasant demeanour. According to the receptionist, the hotel is only a little over a year old, and you can feel the facilities are very new. Bed and bathroom was well kept and clean. The controls in the room uses touch sensors, not very elder friendly, but I guess that's OK. Breakfast was good with a decent spread. Freshly cooked eggs and bacon were available for ordering. Only feedback that the spread could get tired, particularly when one stays longer than 2 nights. Overall great hotel with exceptional value!

One of the best hotels outside of Bangkok”

Our stay at Le Patta was excellent the staff could not do enough for us and always with a smile. The location was good right in the city but in a location away from immediate noise and traffic. Breakfast's were of a very high standard, we also had two evening meals in the hotel having had a bad experience in one of the restaurants in the city again the food was of high quality as was the service. If we get up to Chang Rai again Le Patta would be our hotel of choice.

This hotel made me and my family feeling happy”

The hotel close to Chiang Rai city center. The great thing is that the hotel locates just a few blocks away from the Chiang Rai's annual northern flower field exhibitions. We walked there every night to see this beautiful flower arrangement. Moreover, the hotel staff here are very nice and smart. They gave very good advices to arrange the route for traveling around Chiang Rai and managed logistic for us. Especially on the last day of our visit, we had problem with luggages that still stuck at the hotel but we were already at the airport. The staff were very helpful to manage our luggages delivered safe and sound to the airport in time for our flight check in. Thank you very much!

A little gem in the heart of Chiang Rai”

A mate and I stayed there for 4 great nights. The Night Bizarre is very close which has great food and enjoyable entertainment. The Le Patta staff are very friendly and helpful in all regards and the breakfast will make sure you get away to a good start to the day. I will definitely be booking with Le Patta for my next golfing trip to Chiang Rai.

Love this place. Chose it due to high ratings. The location is great near the night market and bus terminal. Rooms are nice, pool is nice (but you can hear the street traffic from the pool). In room minibar is free and restocked every day. Service and staff are outstanding. As an example, We asked at the lobby the hours of the bus terminal and the receptionist, Niram, pointed out that I could reserve my bus ticket to Chiang Mai online and pay at 7-11. He logged onto the lobby computer and walked us through the reservation process and printed the confirmation to show at 7-11 for payment. When we returned to the hotel that evening, he checked the 7-11 receipt to make sure they got it right and then he reserved the hotel van to take us to the bus station for free the day of our departure! Breakfast our first and third day was an excellent buffet of Thai dishes, fruit, yogurt, pastries and eggs to order. The second day it was ala carte anything and as much as you wanted to order off the menu. The coffee was great and served with steamed foamy milk. Would definitely stay here again if in Chiang Rai. Also good to know is that at the airport in Chiang Rai just after picking up your bags there is a True mobile kiosk for cell phones. If you don't need data, you can get the SIM card free and load it with as much or as little baht as you want. It only costs one baht per minute to call the US and Canada. If you need data, there are packages with data and call time.

Excellent experience ”

We had an excellent stay at the Le Patta. It was so close to the night bazaar and many restaurant options. We have a 2 year old and it was easy to get around. The staff were always ready to help and so friendly, especially towards our daughter. They gave her bread each day to feed the fish in the pond. The room was wonderful and the daily free mini bar selection was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this for families, couples or anyone looking to visit Chiang Rai.

Staff are extremely friendly and the hotel provide excellent service in room design,room condition,swimming pool and breakfast.breaskfast is excellent and providing so many choices.when we leave hotel n wanna to go bus terminal for going chai mai,they pick us there by their 10-people bus freely.They staff are very welcome and their swimming pool are very good for photography amd releaxing. A Paradise in a city. Unfortunately,the quality of the food at Chiang Rai Night Market is not good as that in Chiang Mai. And the tour at singha park is excellent and likely a tour bringing u into a natural picture that is awesome and amazing

Fab stay”

The friendly staff made a great first impression and they maintained a professional and friendly attitude throughout the three night stay. They were always available to assist and liaise with aroids tour groups s necessary. Their service has been the best of the three hotels in Thailand I have stayed at to date. The location is excellent being near the bus station and in the city centre. It is not noisy. The rooms are well equipped, with spacious bathrooms and living areas. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Le Patta and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to fellow travellers.

Absolutely flawless place to stay”

Le Patta is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Everything about it is perfect - from its location (very close to the central bus terminal, the night bazaar, the clock tower and the Saturday walking street), to the marvellous rooms and the lovely staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The air con is superb, the wifi is strong and the TV choices actually have good English news and movie channels! The bathroom is huge and beautiful (I wish I had one like it at home) with a massive rain shower. Loads of toiletries and lots of lovely white towels The free minibar includes tea/coffee, 4 large bottles of water, pepsi, a small juice box, nuts, crisps and it's replenished each day. Rooms have balconies overlooking the pool but there is no noise and it closes for use at 6.30pm. I loved the touch control lighting and aircon. Breakfast is buffet - all fresh and lots of choices, with great coffee. Would definitely return! This hotel is perfect in every way.
