Value for Money”
I stayed here for a night when I went to General Santos for a friend's wedding. I got the cheapest room because I just needed a place to sleep. The room was as expected from the pictures. It's small but clean. Even the bathroom has been well-kept. They also provided basic toiletries. The aircon is working perfectly. The TV is old, but what do you expect from an economy room? I woke up quite late the next morning. I thought they won't serve me the breakfast anymore because it was already about 10 am but they accommodated my request. The downside of my stay was perhaps the location of the room they assigned me in. My room was on the 2nd floor, the last one on the left side. I don't have issues staying at the end of the hallway but I do hope they didn't make a storage area out of that corner. What greeted me whenever I open my door were lots and lots of boxes. Also, the location of the hotel can be easily missed if you're not alert or if your cab driver isn't familiar of the place because the hotel front is not facing the highway. Instead, you'll have to walk a few meters down a dirt path to the main entrance of the hotel. Overall, it was a nice experience. I am glad that I found a place that was both affordable and comfortable.

Great!! The staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful and prepared to go beyond their call of duty.They showed us a bit of the greater General Santos and wow! General Santos City and surroundings are the best kept secret!! So much to see at very reasonable prices!! I will return!

Enjoyed my stay there. Single room was small but adequate. Everything worked (TV, Wi-Fi, Hot Shower) - unlike many other establishments in the Philippines. It is a distance from 'down-town' General Santos City but only 10 pesos by tricycle. :)

The best place to stay so far in GenSan”
very professional and friendly staff! they attend to your needs promptly with a smile. though not a walking distance to down town are, the le grand suites is ideal for travelers who love quiet and uncrowded place with personalized service. i have recommended the place to my friends. i am returning to gensan next week and surely will stay there again.

Feels like second home”
It was just a brief but great stay at Le Grand. I was never mistaken on choosing this place among all the hotels suggested. The staff are good natured and accommodating even at wee hours in the morning. Its a good place to rest after an exhausting day of touring the city and nearby places.

Nice Hotel”
the hotel was built two years ago, so it is fairly new. everything is clean from the hallway all the way into the bedroom. because the price is very cheap, i initially suspected that the water might be terrible (in some hotels of this price, the waster smells like rotten egg). but i was wrong. the water smells and tastes like drinkable mineral water. the hotel staffs are very friendly and always welcoming you with a smile. there are two things that need improvement. the window-type air-conditioning unit is every small that it cannot make the room cold enough for my comfort. there is also a need for additional electric power outlet if you want to work using a laptop while in the hotel.

Decent and Nice”
Hotel offers free transfers from airport to hotel except when their driver is on day-off. Better call in advance. The room and bed was very comfortable, I had no problems checking in early and navigating my way thru their hotel. Staff was excellently helpful and accommodating to all my queries. The hotel location is something to consider though, it's far from downtown area and you'll always need a multicab ride to go to any point. That being said, the entire stay was warm and just right for the price I paid. Breakfast was also delicious.

Cozy hotel though quite far from the city district”
I always pick Le Grande whenever I'm in Gensan coz i have already been accustomed to that. Rooms are cozy esp. those downstairs with mini bars. Price is competitive though they do not accept credit cards when u walk in for check in. Overall, i'd definitely recommend this to my peers.

Better room insulation needed”
The hotel had everything to make the stay perfect, friendly staff, nice food, however unfortunately I was located on a room on the ground floor, which was situated directly next to the lobby. The rooms in the hotel are not properly sound insulated. Avoid staying on the ground floor at all costs - the noise from the lobby travels directly into the rooms there, you can even hear people whispering in the lobby, yet alone the normal conversations and children. I decided to end my stay 2 days early due to the lack of privacy and constant invasion of noise pollution. It became quite ridiculous how easily the noise transmits through to the ground floor rooms. I'm not sure who designed the hotel, but many hotels don't construct rooms on the ground floor for precisely this reason. I also requested to speak to the manager regarding a refund at the time but there was no one available.

Nice hotel in GenSan”
The staff were commendable. The front desk person was very friendly and informative. The bellboy was very helpful. The hotel appears new and my room was clean (my only quibble with my room was the toilet, which was sluggish and had to be flushed several times in order to work). I asked that my breakfast be packed because I was climbing Mt. Matutum the next morning, and they readily acceded to my request. It was, over all, a nice experience, and I would stay again in this hotel (but would ask to be assigned to a different room to escape that sluggish toilet).

Fantastic Service”
The rooms and amenities are nothing to rave about - very basic but I must say, very clean. The location isn't central either. However,the service is simply fantastic. NOTHING is too small, too big, too quirky or too late to request from the staff and they do it with amazing speed. I'm used to boutique hotel standards and I must say, they're as impressive...if not more.

A Good and Peaceful stay.”
It was a good 3 days stay but the font desk staff overlook my room bill that was already been paid thru Agoda. Manage to get a refund after sometime. All to all it was good. Will stay there again when in Gensan.
