Strategic Location in the Davao Metropolis”

              accessible, value for money

-nightlife -let us transfer to another room las casitas is no ordinary hotel that serves you free meal on breakfast instead their free meal is dinner that is served between 6:30pm - 8:30pm. and i should say don't expect too much on the free dinner. but, you have the option to add other entrees that i must say are very affordable. on the other hand, because it is in the center of the metro it has it's pros and cons. first, it is accessible-there's a lot of restos near by, a good massage area around the corner, there's a bank... almost everything is just a stone's throw away but it is also their cons because of the nearby bars/ktvs that is open until 2am. the first night was a challenge so we asked the receptionist the next day to transfer us to another room-and they gave in to our request. all in all experience was good. we will go back but will make sure we are on "sound proof" room so we can sleep soundly at night.

              One of receptionist is tricky”

Receptionists are not doing their job in a professional way,You feel as a customer like disturbing them. first I was given the room that I have booked and paid for.later the receptionist told us that we have to change to another room which was of lower standard, claiming that I paid only for this type of room. luckily I booked only 2 nights,so it was not worth for me to argue more. the other problem is the karaoke club and disco pub next door.the sound is incredible so You can feel the beat even at higher floors till 2am. that was my last time at las casitas.

its very accessible to the major attractions in the city

our stay was fine, generally, except the fact that, we didn't have a tissue in the toilet, and only one towel for three people.i suggest that, they check the room for lacking stuff, before they let the guests get in. the staff are okay, especially the ones in the cafe.

              Las Casitas”

              Location is ok.

We stayed here for two nights, the day we checked in the staff were not ready to receive us. The room they assigned to us was not yet tidied up. They asked us to transfer to another room, but they do not know which room to give us. So they asked us to wait in the lobby. When they finally decided which room ti give us, they gave us the room they initially assigned to us. Upon entering the room, there was a rat roaming inside. Staff were not very accommodating. Rooms are not that great. Nonetheless we had a great stay in Davao.

              Very much relaxing”

not so complicated; within the city proper; friendly staff

Fine... Quite fast internet connection; fast service (room service) although the food is quite ok, it can still be improved and the price is quite high considering the simplicity of menu. But overall, Im satisfied.

staff- friendly--HOT WATER!!!- entertainment close by

All in all not too bad-- took the second day to get a towel to take a shower- had to buy my own soap!-- Bedding not changed every day-- no real covers for the bed. Literally could change the channels on the TV- by sitting on the edge of the bed (room that small!) Small window unit AC--Davao has DAILY power outages!!--1-4 hrs-- 3rd floor heats up QUICK with no AC!! Staff does not know how to make an over easy egg!!! Good point fast wifi-- mosquietos present in lobby and dinning area. Staff mopped the front lobby-walks outside 1st step and shakes out the dirt!!! Street construction outside- finished when I leave.

Areas of improvement: -More pillows and towels. Only one pillow and towel was provided for a room supposed to be for two adults. - Chemicals used to clean rooms were so strong, the odor stays for quite some time. Overall, an OK hotel. you get your money's worth -

Hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. They allowed me to check in early as my flight arrived early morning which was nice. Room size was one of the smallest I have seen, though the bathroom was clean and functional. Complementary dinner is served rather than breakfast. A small piece of fried chicken and rice was served with soup. Internet is only in the lobby and restaurant area.

Really for those on a budget”

              Cheap, good location

The location is fine but in terms of experience in staying, not quite so. Bed was kinda dusty, there was a cockroach in the restroom, cobwebs and spider near the headboard, and our landline wasn't working--so we had to make calls through our mobile phones if we needed housekeeping or room service. If you are really on a budget I guess this will do, but I think you can find a way better budget hotel for the price we paid.

              Central location

Staff were always welcoming and friendly. Room was small but it was a single but overlooked the beer garden Karaoke who played music extremely loud. Dont expect much sleep overlooking that place. Most disappointed that NO WIFI in the rooms. You have to go in the Hotel Cafe downstairs where they know you will buy things.

It was raining the night i stayed there. after a while, the ceiling started leaking. i was on the 4th floor. i had to move one of the beds and place a trash can to catch the drops of water. i booked a room with a queen bed but they gave me a room with 2 single beds. The sheets smelled like they havent dried up properly so they kinda reek. They also told me they'd send the remote for the tv to my room but it never came. I had to use my phone. The AC was great though. oh and when i moved the bed, there was a plastic spoon underneath.

only best feature was the restroom: clean lots of small cockroaches. air conditioner couldn't do the job of making the room cool since it was so old and barely functioning; had to ask to switch rooms coz the heat was unbearable. the room switched into had a better air conditioner but not cool enough, just made the room bearable. Not worth the price.

Hotel was great... The staff... not so much.”

The value, location, and sanitation were excellent.

I liked every aspect of my experience at this hotel except for some of the staff members. Their behavior was rather unprofessional, and down right petty at times. They made rude comments about the guest within my hearing several times, obviously assuming I did not know the language. If you are going to engage in this kind of childish behavior, at least leave the front desk if you must gossip!
