Excellent Stay ”

I don’t really know where to begin with describing my wonderful experience at Lantana riverside. The hotel is beautifully situated on the river, but is a not long walk away from lots of hoi an attractions. Our room had a beautiful balcony that we could watch the sunset from. The room was large and clean. Great shower with a lot of output. The staff here was very memorable. They made the effort to learn our names at reception, the restaurant, and management. It made us feel very welcome and cared for. The complimentary breakfast was great and provided a lot of options. They also have food available at reasonable prices throughout the day. There’s also a spa on site and we were able to get a nice massage to help us sink in. They really took the time to genuinely know us here. A level of customer service you do not find at American or European hotels. At least not at this price point. No request was too small or any trouble. We even called down for candles one night and in about five minutes someone was knocking at the door with tea lights. On my next visit to Hoi An I️ will be very happy to stay here again.

Most incredible travel experience in my life. ”

My trip to Vietnam after 48 years was in a way a pilgrimage. I have visited over 50 countries in my long life. Nothing even comes close to the sublime week journey I made to Hoi An last week. The Lantana Riverside Hotel made it all possible and, most of my highlights were due in fact to the efforts of the beautiful staff of the hotel. These young women are not only extremely competent professionals, but genuinely wonderful human beings. They personalized my stay and provided experiences, from riding on the back of their scooters to taking me to quaint authentic Vietnamese cafes and restaurants in addition to facilitating all the activities I needed to do there. They made it almost effortless. They are very interpersonally sensitive to the their guests and at the same time, warm and engaging on a personal level. One recommendation I have is to check out their restaurant. It is little publicized but exceptional in quality and service. I have thought diligently to come up with some small criticism or suggestions for improvement, but have failed. Thank you, Lucy, Emily, Lucky, Laura, Sally, Tracy, Ella, Victoria and the entire staff of Lantana for the best travel experience of my life.

Fantastic experience with magnificent staff”

The location of the Lantana Riverside just outside the bustle of Hoi An was perfect for us. A short walk along the river each morning gave us a chance to get a feel for Hoi An's natural beauty and experience some of the less commercial aspects of the town's life. The hotel itself was immaculately equipped and furnished with great views over the river. But the best features of our stay were twofold. Firstly the staff provided an attention to detail which meant that we felt superbly welcomed and wonderfully cared for throughout our stay. Everyone took great pride in making us feel at home, knowing our names, and treating us as though we were their only guests. Secondly, the breakfast was just fabulous and set us up for the day, We eat just Vietnamese food throughout our stay and this was a feast! As well as this, the little details which make a holiday flow easily were always uppermost in the minds of the staff: like booking a river trip and taxi transfers; or locating ATMs. Yes !!!

Great place to stay in Hoi An ”

Travelling with a few friends we booked our stay at Lantana a day before arriving and managed to get a great deal on Agoda. The sales manager Minh reached out on the day of our booking to make the process smooth and help facilitate our arrival. We were welcomed on arrival and provided excellent rooms overlooking the pool. The location is ideal for those wishing to be close but not too close to the centre of Hoi An (it’s about 1km away). There is a regular shuttle bus that can take you into the old city of Hoi An or to An Bang beach - it’s also easy to get a Grab or Taxi anywhere. The pool and spa facilities are excellent and there is also a small gym that I managed to use a few times. Breakfast was included in our rate, and was excellent. The staff are very friendly, warm, engaging and helpful. They would always make themselves available for any advice or questions. The rooms are quiet, very clean and of high quality. After a busy day sightseeing I recommend the pool or a massage in the spa. Food and drinks service is of a high standard. I highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy Hoi An but also want a quiet spot away from the centre of town.

Good Riverview ”

We totally enjoyed our stay at Lantana Riverside. It has such nice river view in the morning with many passing small fishing boats. In the night, it offers a different neon lights view of the river opposite and nearby lights thrown by the hotels and other establishments. It is a walking distance to the ancient town of Hoi An and December is a very good month to visit due to the cool weather. Breakfast Buffet spread is not wide, but t is sufficient to fill our tummy and it was delicious. Will definitely come back again when we visit Hoi An.

It was such a nice stay in the Lantana Riverside hotel. Lovely and very helpful staff, clean rooms, good restaurant and the shuttle service from the hotel and back to Hoi An center or to the beach were great. Especially the staff is very kind.

GREAT LITTLE HOTEL WITH GREAT STAFF.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lantana Riverside. We had a good number of meals in the restaurant and all were fresh and enjoyable. The barman/bargirls make a great Margarita. If we go back to Vietnam Hoi An will be on the list and this hotel will definitely be our choice.

Exceptional”

Highly recommend. Fantastic freindly service. Rooms are nice. I stayed in top floor suite, but I saw lower floor rooms facing river and though smaller they too have balconies. I like sitting on balcony relaxing and watching river traffic and fishermen. Breakfast is the best I have ever had in SE Asia. High end buffet style with dozens of local choices, omelet station etc. They have private scheduled vans for their private beach location. Ocean is nicem but beach like most areas of asia tends to have some clutter and trash between beach area/ dunes and sevices nearer road. Also have scheduled shuttle into town which I took trgularle though I also walked the 15 minutes quite often to town as more interesting. Hoi An is a great town but it is touristy and Lantana is just removed from this tourist core

This hotel deserves more than 5 stars”

The title says it. We had a memorable and enjoyable stay at the hotel. A few days before our arrival, the hotel manager and staff Mile Nguyen and Emily wrote an email to ask about our requirements or needs. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly hospitable and warm. We booked a family connecting room that comes with a queen bed and two single beds facing the river. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a really good spread with a good blend of western and vietnamese cuisine. Getting to Hoi An ancient town from the hotel is just a mere 20-30 minutes walk along thw river bank from the hotel. However, the hotel do provide hourly complimentary shuttle service to and fro to Hoi An ancient town and An Bang beach. There are bicycles for rental too at the reception. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and there are simply no regrets staying at this hotel.

AMAZING PLACE AND STAFF!”

Had a great 3 day stay at the Lantana Riverside. The staff was amazing throughout the whole stay. Checking in we were greeted with fresh juice and they continued to check in through out the stay and greeting my friend and I by name. They were always more than willing to help. Getting the shuttle to the beach which sometimes was a taxi the hotel paid for was easy and convenient. The breakfast buffet was great! It was about a 20 minute walk along the river to town, though you could rent bikes for $1 a day or mopeds right outside.

One of the Best Choices for a Holiday in Hoi An”

I spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel located by a picturesque river. Tranquillity less than 10 minutes ride from the noisy and crowded centre of Hoi An. The biggest surprise was the quality of food at the hotel's restaurant. It is a good hotel for anybody visiting the Danang-Hoi An area. You can either opt for a river-view room which is smaller or a city-view room which is more comfortable but you will miss the river view which is a real treat in the mornings and evenings.

Exceptional in Many Ways”

A highlight of our two week trip so far. Heading South to North, Hoi An is a delightful town and the choice of this hotel made it an exceptional stay for us. Firstly, the location is perfect if you prefer to be just outside of the bustling old town. It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll along the river to the centre with cafes and shops dotted along the way. The hotel itself is first class: great breakfast, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The daily spa experiences were fabulous and most professional. Our stay however was made very special due to the wonderful staff and their genuine warmth. All staff were so engaging and pleasant and our special thanks go to Minh and Mile whose personable approach made such a difference. Thank you to all for providing us with such a welcoming stay.

Perfect service and very kind staff”

It was a very pleasant stay, which we could enjoy very much thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff. We can recommend the Lantanan Riverside to all travellers, whether for tourists or for business. The room was clean and very big, the view over the river beautiful. Also very comfortable was the hotel's own bus transfer several times a day to the center of Hoi An and back as well as to the beach.

We stayed at both properties in Hoi An and each has unique qualities. The riverside hotel for the tranquility and the boutique hotel because of it's location close to the happenings. Most amazing though are the amazing folks that work here. Truely memorable.

Lovely relaxing stay ”

Had a fab time staying at Lantana. Perfect location down the river outside of the huddle and bustle. Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel - beds very comfy too. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The free shuttle to a private beach was a major plus too. Perfect. And had an amazing spa treatment too. Would very much recommend.

Exceptional service at quaint hotel”

The staff is incredible! Every person will address you by name and remember little things about you enough is very welcoming and appreciated. The location is a little bit of a walk from ancient town where most of the things to do are but we actually felt that was a great thing because it was quiet and peaceful even at night whereas close to the action it can be very very loud. They also have a shuttle bus if you don't want to do the 15 min walk or bikes to rent. The room was very basic but was clean and served its purpose. The pool is nearly entirely shaded but lovely to lay by and read. The spa downstairs is wonderfully relaxing, clean, and fair prices. I'd absolutely stay there again if I turn to Hoi An. I'd also definitely do another Local Buddy tour!
