Fantastic, clean and comfortable!”

My family and I enjoyed our tau at Lam Tong very much! The hospitality that we received was impeccable. The owners were very helpful in their communication with us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The only to note is that the Lomprayah High Speed ferry pier has moved to Surat Thani and is no longer in Don Sak, but the owners were more than happy to arrange rides to the other ferry for us. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Lovely Place, Love Owners”

This is the perfect place to stay if you need to be close to the Lomprayah Pier! There is absolutely nothing in the area since it is meant for either a place to stay near the pier or if you have your own wheels to get around… This place was incredibly peaceful in a beautiful (and meticulously maintained) garden setting. Sitting outside on the balcony reading a book in peace and quiet was so welcoming! The rooms are simple and quaint and provide everything you need. My only complaint is that the pillows are too high and too stiff. The on-site restaurant was fantastic and if you know your thai dishes (and their thai names), you can order things that are not on their current simple menu! The home cooked thai food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. They even asked us if we would like breakfast and what we would like to have and at what time so that they knew when to be ready for us. The owners are absolutely lovely people and provide a fabulous family atmosphere. They are genuinely kind and generous - they even gave us two free bottles of water upon our departure and offered a complimentary ride to the Lomprayah pier. All in all, I would definitely stay again - I would not even bother looking at any other hotel/resort in the Don Sak area.

Excellent stay and the nicest owner”

We stayed at Lam Tong for one night on our way to koh toa. It was a very pleasant stay! We arrived late and the owner was waiting for us to arrive. We had a very friendly welcome. We could eat at the resort. We had the curry. fresh and homemade. Delicious! The owner also took us to the supermarket in the evening. And in the morning after a good breakfast he brought us to the pier, helped us buy tickets and dropped us at the boat. Rooms are clean but simple. Very nice. Very very pleasant stay!! Thank you!

'Keeno' or Chris is a great host and is very accommodating of any requests and ensures that your stay at Lam Tong is enjoyable and meets the groups needs. The food was good and he was able to help us with breakfast and assisted our family at the port in the morning. He is also able to assist in airport transfers and is great with communication. Will stay again and recommend.

We stayed only for one night at Lam-Tong resort but we were treated like friends. The host picked us up at the bus terminal, we got water, snacks and freshly cooked food after we arrived there. In the Morning, we got a free drop off to the ferry station. There is only one little point you should notice- additional services like food and transport were a bit more expensive than we Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

I booked this small resort as it was next to the ferry Friendly staff, the son picked me up from the airport (cheaper than local taxis) And he took me to the ferry early in the morning

Perfect for connection boat stay ”

The staff picked me up from Surat Thani train station which was very kind of them. Resort very near the pier to get the boats to the islands, rooms big and clean and restaurant food very good, all staff very friendly.

perfect for overnight stay”

Very relaxing stay, good food nice bugalow for my self. Son showed me the local marked with his wife and son. At night i met the rest of the family, very nice people, talked about alot and had a great time. Next day i departed the daughter had bought me a fluid because i had said i liked the Thai music. Very sweet.. if i ever come in that region again i'll surely visit again. Loved my stay, loved the people (family).

After a long trip or in the beginning if you need to stay one day in Surattani this is definitely a good place . Really a good service taxi pick up , friendly family and easy clean bungalow. Definitely recommend

+ the staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating - the venue is a bit overpriced. Hard bed, tall pillows and cheap furniture makes other options in the area more attractive. I think this place is ideal for backpacker looking to connect with locals but for seasoned travelers who just want a comfortable bed look elsewhere.

On my way to Koh Phangan I stayed here for one night. It’s a very cosy place, close to the pier, with a super friendly staff (family). Certainly great value for money. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Bungalow très simple, propre mais réduit à sa plus simple expression, pas facile à trouver, personnel uniquement la famille et seul la fille parle un peu d'anglais, comme il n'y a pas grand chose dans le coin, il s'agit juste d'un endroit pour dormir sur un lit un peu dur ...... mais très prés du ferry.....

Wir waren für eine Nacht dort und sind am nächsten Tag mit der Fähre weiter. Wir haben einen Abholservice vom Flughafen gebucht, der super geklappt hat. Am nächsten Tag wurden wir dann noch kostenfrei zur Fähre gebracht. Für den Preis darf man bei dem Zimmer nichts erwarten. Für eine Nacht aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat all unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Zur Weiterfahrt mit der Fähre ist die Lage optimal. Mehr als 1 Nacht hätten wir jedoch nicht verbringen wollen.

Wir übernachten vor jeder Überfahrt zu den Inseln im Lam Tong. Super zum Entspannen nach der Anreise von Bangkok oder wo auch immer. Leckeres Essen und sehr umsichtiges Personal. Der Inhaber bringt die Gäste immer zu den Fähren. Hat nun auch eine Dachterrasse mit Meerblick!

Zum zweiten Mal hier und wieder wars schön und lustig!”

Der Bungalow war sauber und geräumig, die Betten bequem. Abends hatten wir neben einem leckeren Essen einen Haufen Spaß mit der Familie! Chris hat sich wie beim letzten Mal wieder vorbildlich um unsere Anreise zum Pier und die Besorgung der Tickets für die Fähre gekümmert. Besser gehts nicht!
