Nice room at a budget price”

The rooms are newly renovated, bed and pillows are super comfy. I like that the flooring is laminate and not carpet. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Only 2 complaints, the hot tub did not have any working jets and you can hear people walking the floor above you. We would return to this hotel. Fountain park is right across the street.

Nice but Far”

We booked this room because our daughter had a liver transplant and we needed to be close to hospital after her release. Unfortunately she wasn't released but it was too late to cancel. So my husband stayed most nights and I one night. The room was a 2 room king suite. I thought the couch was a hideabed but when we removed cushions all we found was popcorn. Other than that room was very clean. We booked this hotel for daughters 3rd week but cancelled because even though room was nice (nice furniture, bed, etc) it didn't have a very homey feel to it. My husband described it as "HARD". Dark furniture,floor, heavy drapery etc. Also the bathroom was too far from bedroom (for our daughter to have gone) and there were only 2 light switches . Rest of lights were lamps you would have to go turn on. I would think a business man would love the room but not so much if you like "soft" homey rooms. We were looking from point of view for daughter couped up in room for week.

Great location”

Located right by the lake. Easy walk to restaurants. Nice clean rooms. Pool area was clean. Will book a stay again when we come to Fountain Hills

Great Value, Excellent Price, Incredible service ”

I didn’t like the pancakes, they were too tough, but everything else was top notch! The fountain across the road, the park nearby, the restaurant downstairs and even other businesses all within walking distance. Great location if you wanna see everything with a quick bike ride. The staff was extremely welcoming and made you feel like you made the right choice even as you’re checking in. Some of the flooring was in need of a bit of repair on lower floor, probably due to an old water leak, otherwise everything was perfect .

This is a beautiful and quiet hotel in a perfect location of town. It's extremely close to the casino as well as being literally across the street from many nice restaurants. There's also a great bar and restaurant located downstairs in the hotel which also delivers to the rooms. The staff are polite and accommodating, the room amenities are awesome, and other than my room not having a freezer (but did have a fridge), I'd say this place is perfect!

Newly remodeled with contemporary styling. Very clean. Directly across from the fountain park. 1/2 block to restaurants and shopping. Solid business class hotel.

Excellent”

The staff was polite, the place was clean. This is a no frills hotel but does have all the basics for your needs. I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave and it may our stay more convenient. The view is spectacular when the fountain is going.

Could be perfect without cigarette smell”

The clerk was very understanding, polite and eager to help when I advised I needed a bedroom as soon as possible so I could sleep. The bedroom was warm (83F-28.5C) when I arrived, it took a while for the air conditioning to cool the room. I was unpleasantly surprised by a smell of cigarette. Thankfully it wasn't strong enough to make the whole experience negative but it unfortunately gives a "dirty" vibe hard to overlook. The king size bed was comfortable and firm, which is good for my back. The bathtub wasn't huge but large enough to make me feel comfortable in it. There is also a coffee maker and iron for your clothes. The quick check in, firm bed and $40 pricing made this an overall very positive exp

Nice place to stay. Executive Queen Suite was nicely furnished. Decor was very modern and in good condition. Pergo/ wood floors were a nice change. Bathroom was clean but typical for hotels. Definitely not 'cozy' but for adults and older children it was very nice. The decor of room in the suite could be very romantic with it's red and black bedding and dark floor and furniture. My stay was very short as I only needed a place to sleep while traveling so we checked in at 2am and left by 7am but it was an easy process. the only problem I had was with finding the hotel. There was a special event going on nearby and there were a lot of closed roads and the hotel seemed to be right in the middle of it. It took a bit of driving around to find the one small lane open to get to the hotel because there were no signs pointing the way. GPS and maps were no help. Quite frustrating. Overall it was a good stay.

Great Little Hotel Next to the Fountain”

I was in town for a Real Estate Conference, and booked this hotel. The area around the hotel had an eclectic feel to it. There were places to dine, drink, and walk. Its out in a rural area about 12 miles from Scottsdale. So if you really needed something then you could drive there but there was really no need. I will be staying there again when I come back into town for the next conference. Thank you!!

Overpriced but ...”

Overpriced for the typical tired motel room that you get here. However, there are very few options in Fountain Hills so this is as good as it gets unless you’re ready to spend $300 a night!

Decent hotel under new ownership. Going through re-modeling right now. Looks like it will take a while. Standard rooms could use some updating however. Rooms are comfortable. The staff who are supposed to serve breakfast had no clue about price. There was one person on the desk at check-in time on Friday and she really needed some help. She was so overwhelmed that she gave someone checking in a key to a room already occupied. Quite embarrassing.

Good value for the money”

I thought the place was a good value. they are updating it and it needs it but facilities were satisfactory. if you are picky you should probably spend twice as much and go somewhere else but the rooms were nice, pool area nice, and everything working, elevators, ice machines, laundry area. The park across the street and the wide variety of food places nearby made it a great choice for us. Plus it is not far from the desert parks and golf courses etc.

Everything you need”

Good hotel, nothing fancy. Small pool and hot tub in the back, walking distance to bars and restaraunts and a free hot breakfast in the morning.
