Located in the village of Schoemansville at Hartbeespoort Dam, Lake Motel is located in a Cape Dutch style building. Each room is en suite and equipped with coffee-and tea making facilities. All of the rooms have a TV . There is a steak restaurant adjacent to the hotel and room service can be arranged. The Hartebeespoort Dam Snake and Animal Park is just across the road from the Lake Motel and the Aerial Cableway Hartbeespoort is within 5 minutes' drive.

There were no towels, in my room, just one little foot towel. No water The main light switch was broken. The wifi is poor quality I won't be staying there ever again

Sheets have no colour they nt white, toilets bowls have stains . They provide only 1 bath towel nd we were 2 adult's. They only have open view. If u stranded this is a place to book.

The pictures on the web show a beautiful white home with stunning mountain in the back ground, another photo shows the lake. Stars show as four sometimes three as well. My children arrived after me having sold them a dream and were placed in a room, where the only silence they enjoyed was the ongoing noise of a vending machine working 24/7. They felt that this facility is being used as a type of escort agency. The loud chats, laughter was unbearable. Woke up not much sleep with noise of laundry being placed on washing lines. They packed and left. The restaurant experience was good, so well done for at least that piece of the dream. I did whatsapp Ms Mckenzie and no doubt was brutal in my choice of words, referring to her facility as a "whorehouse" "squatter camp". Her reply which which I'm more than willing to also share was just as brutal. Accusing me of being stupid not knowing what what to look for and that her facility is only a two star and it just went on.

There was only a bathtub with no shower, TV is not playing clear channels, no aircon, just a fan on the ceiling. You cannot have peaceful sleep as there's noise from Cars passing also couples staying on next rooms.
