La Solana suites is a fine hotel in Puerto Galera White beach. There are not many decent hotels in White beach. This is one of them. If you have a bit more budget, probably I would recommend Marco Vincent. It is about 5-7 min walk from the beach. It is very quite at night yet safe. When you have drinks a bit, you might feel a bit far from beach but not that far. During day time until 10pm, they would offer Van drive to the beach. The staff is always having nice smiles and quickly respond to your requests. They do have a nice garden and a pool. it is better for guests if they could clean up floating leaves on pool more frequently. I stayed in single room. It is spacious. There is no fridge and security box in a room. I didn't eat any meal there. I can't comment. Overall, it is still a nice accommodation. I would recommend this hotel.

Service with a smile”
Although hotel does not have any beach frontage, they offer transfer service to and from the nearest drop-off point to the beach. If coming from Puerto Galera port, transfer service is also available. Communication with the hotel is very good. Food is excelent, delicious, a real value for money. Very good service, very accommodating staffs. Clean rooms, big toilet & bath. And what I like most is the swimming pool. You can dip anytime, water temperature is excellent. I would surely stay in the same hotel on my next visit to White Beach Puerto Galera. Very highly recommended.

Best option in White Beach :)”
Location is excellent, close enough to walk to the beach, but far enough that we were able to sleep soundly without being bothered by the chaos of White Beach. We'd have given them 5 stars if only their restaurant was open. The pool was great; in fact, we spent most of our time swimming in the hotel pool rather than on the beach which was crowded with pushy vendors. Staff were perfect; happy to serve but unobtrusive. Some suggestions for improvement: a small fridge in the room; a fan (tho we did request one and they promptly brought one up); hooks or a rod to hang clothes & wet towels; a soda vending machine or small store within the premises so guests won't have to go out to buy chips, soda, etc. It rained during our stay and we were rather reluctant to go out. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay at La Solana for all future trips to White Beach :)

It's our first time to travel to Puerto Galera & I'm glad I was able to have an early booking at this resort for the following reasons: it's just a few min. walk to white beach, clean rooms, very accommodating staff(front desk officer & driver) & with other facilities to enjoy like the swimming pool.

Family-Friendly Hotel”
Excellent! Staffs were very attentive, friendly & accommodating. They will even ask you every now & then if you need something.. You can have family bonding in their 'nipa hut' near the swimming pool or in a veranda in every floors. We had a very nice,comfortable and very clean rooms with a very nice swimming pool view! Kuya Don(shuttle driver), always on-time. Free-Shuttle to a grocery store too! Thank you Mr. Harold (owner), Ms. Tess (manager) and all the staff of La Solana for making our stay very pleasant and a memorable one for my son's 21st bday!! More Power & GodSpeed!

This is a place i can recommend and possibly stay agin the next time Im in puerto galera. The staff was very helpful, the food was great, the place was very good. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach but uts far away enough that you can enjoy a peaceful stay. Great place!

Puerto Galera is not a beach resort on the weekend but a place to get extremely drunk for locals. This should be beared in mind when staying at puerto galera. Hotel staff where very friendly and accomodating even if the price seems a little steep for the philippines. This would be the only place I would stay if i returned to puerto galera.

Nice hotel with friendly staffs”
We were supposed to stay 3nights but due to the bad weather, we needed to cancel 2nights. The hotel allowed us our sudden change of the reservation without any penalty. They came to pick us up at the port holding a sigh with my name. All the staff were very friendly, room was clean with hot shower and most happily they had a free shuttle service to the beach. Although the hotel is close to the beach, it's so nice of them to give guests free ride each time. I'd definitely visit there again and stay this hotel.

The facility itself is nice. The location is perfect for me, walking distance to white beach if you want to enjoy and but not so near to noises when you want to relax. The staffs are too helpful and they even help us to book for our way back to manila.

QUITE PLACE”
We found the Hotel very nice and clean, the swimming pool was also nice and clean, the location is about 10 minutes walk to white beach, but was worth it as we could have a good nights sleep away from the noise on the beach, there was a free transfer when you needed it to the beach, overhaul we had a nice stay there and would recomend it to others.

Nice first stop on our holiday”
It was a pleasant surprise that a staff member was nearby on our arrival by ferry to take us to the hotel by shuttle. All staff were very friendly throughout, and made us feel comfortable. Rooms were well presented and clean. The hotel is not right on the beach, but it is a nice short walk to the beach. So easy access to the markets and swimming. The hotel itself has a pool and table tennis. Breakfast was quite good on our visit.

Staff OK, advertised facilities not all true”
Staff are friendly and place is OK overall. However, disappointed with some facilities they advertised. One, no complimentary pick up like what they say online. But the staff said it was because there was no more port on White Beach. They should update their ad, thou. But they gave us a ride to the beach, although the beach is walkable. No wifi, or they didn't just wanna turn on because we were the only one on those days. Staff said she would asked someone to turn it on, but never did. Pool was not that conducive to swimming that day, or night we had our swim. It was itchy after. There were animal poop too in the garden when we had a stroll in the morning. Maybe conditions are different during the peak season, but I don't know. Will check other accom in Puerto next time.

a good and comfy hotel”
We arrived at the hotel and we were greeted very friendly. We stayed for three days and two nights. Shuttle bus/tricycle was available if we wanted to go somewhere. On a second day we went on a day tour to the Tamaraw falls which was suggested by one of the employee at the hotel. We had 2 single rooms and 2 superior rooms and what I didn't like was only the superior rooms were cleaned on our second day at the hotel. If you go for walk to the beach and do not want to take the shuttle service it will take you about 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel, it depends on how fast you walk. The breakfast was ok. But it would be better if they had a breakfast buffet from which you can choose what you want to eat.

Nice,clean, but expensive and no breakfast. The hotel is for sale even. But its nice there. 400m from the beach, friendly staff and helpfull! But for food or breakfast you have to go to the beach. Biljart, table tennis,...not anymore. Price is too much for a resort , that is not on the beach and has not much facilities or meals...
