For the bedsheet, really need to wash properly or change it if there a big stain. We requested change our bedsheet at night, due to a big yellow and black stain on the bedsheet *FELT ITCHY*! We spoke to one of the reception guy, he informed us housekeeping off duty but he still will send new bedsheet to us then we need change it by ourselves. But when he came to our room, we insist request him to change the bedsheet for us. New bedsheet still have big stain, but we’re too tired after travelling from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh. Other than bedsheet problem, everything is good!

I've been at La Regatta twice already. Location, staff, room, everything was on point. Will come back when in Saigon.

Great stay”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us book a half day tour at the Cu Chi tunnels. We compared the price and got a slightly better deal than if we would have booked online. Plus there was a delicious banh mi stand right outside of the hotel.

Small suite hotel, great value ”

We were looking for a budget place to stay in district 3 and this one was great. Located in an authentic but very safe part of Saigon, a short cab ride from all of the attractions. Lots of great street food around. Hotel rooms are not quite a suite, but large and comfortable for a few nights stay.

Nice place to stay in Distric 3 Saigon”

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights from 20-25 April. (-) We had room on the 4th floor facing a building with construction going on. It was noisy, the workers start to work early morning and most of the time they will shout to each other while working. Not only that, there is this local guy who kinda work beside the hotel who likes to play music really loud and sing along like karaoke pretty much. He does that everyday. Then, hotel's cleaning ladies like to talk to each other while they work. Because there is no soundproof in the room, you can literally hear them talking. So the combination of constraction, karaoke, and cleaning ladies got us annoyed and woke us up from sleep many times. There is one receptionist that I personally think he need to improve his behaviour towards guest. His is tall, slim guy with glasses. He checked us out from hotel in the morning. He was not friendly at all. We asked him if we can exchange thai baht money to viet dong from him because there was no money changer open around 7am in the morning. He said no with his arogan facial expression. He also didnt say thank you when we left. Rude. (+) Bed is super nice, soft. Bathroom is clean. The design of the room is very modern. Good location, grab driver can easily find it. Close to coffee shops, family mart, atm. Walking distance to District 1. Special thanks to female receptionist who work in the morning on 22nd april, who help us print out documents. It means a lot for us. And the male reception, guy with glasses who work evening time on 20th and 24th april. Helped us with good information about simcard and taxi. Thank you guys so much. You did a great job, well done. Not to mention their security who open the door for us, he is so freindly and funny 🙂

small boutique hotel with very stylish clean room, we love it here, ended up extending our stay and booked here twice value for money and location wise is still good. will come back for sure!

Nice hotel”

Big hotel with a lot of privacy. Stayed at level 2 in the suite room. There is a kitchen area with all the plates and utensils that you can use too. Clean and cosy, water in the bathroom was also really strong and nice. Bathroom clean, bed very comfortable! Although we can still hear some sound from the road outside, it is still acceptable to us. No problem sleeping at all. Staff were really helpful and nice, and the security guard was always so sweet and helpful too. Gives a feeling that they are all so down to earth and want to give their best. Location is not bad, and there is a push cArt store selling. Banh mi (French loaf sandwich) and fried noodles. Also v delicious and clean. 4storey highland coffee is just opposite the hotel, nice place to chill and have nice coffee and cake. Would definitely come back to this hotel! Grab transport in Vietnam is really simple and affordable! Weather was hot so we took grab everywhere.

I can easily walk to a lot of places in HCM city. I don't have any of the noise or annoyance, because. It’s located in a small alley with very little traffic. We slept perfectly every night. However, soundproof is not good. The room was very clean and modern, and the staff was always super-friendly. I can go to market and cooking in this room. Highly recommended, I can't imagine a more enjoyable and pleasant place to stay

The stay was good except check-in and ID storage”

Very nice and quite hotel, the room is not so new as photo but it is still good condition. Only concern is identity theft. I was shocked that the receptionist staff used her own phone to take photo of my ID then send to her group chat to let other ones register my stay. Not sure they want to save paper (could use scan machine instead). Who knows what they are going to do when they store all customer's information on their phone. When I complained and requested her to delete my passport and I want to use local ID instead. She was upset and seem a bit angry to me. I was shocked but didn't want to cancel my stay. I'm not sure the owner and Agoda know about this but I hope other guests pay attention to this matter.

Noise - Building works / construction + Staff”

I stayed at La Regatta Boutique Residences for 2 nights. I arrived early and was told I could not check in until 2pm, which is ok I understand the room needs to be cleaned. So I decide to sit in the lobby and do work while waiting. Whilst sitting I sit down next to 2 staff, eating having there lunch, chatting very loudly. Now I know why I couldn't check in, I was waiting for the staff to finish there lunch. Still in the lobby? Whatever you do don't stay on the first floor rooms, they are very loud. 11pm at night all I could hear was tv, I go down stairs to investigate and it's the staff watching tv at the reception. Following morning again, 7am woken up by staff eating & chatting in the lobby. 8am construction, the whole room is shaking. I go down to reception to ask for another room. I would not stay here for at least another 6 months. The whole building next door which is attached is being torn down, hence why it felt so loud. Even top floor room had construction and Karaoke nois

Functional Hotel”

Nice boutique hotel. Small room but yet functional with the necessities. 20-30 mins from District 1 but there are cafes and eatery nearby. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The minus point was renovation in the morning (around 9am) but if you are leaving early for the day, no impact.

Good location !”

Good location, about 5 minutes by motorbike you can be in the city centre. The apartment is near center city but it’s not noisy, rather quiet. The apartment is new, lighty, clean, and well designed. Receptionist is professional, kind

Lovely hotel. Love so much the location, especially can get the street food , n also various of cafe around. I love the space of the room also, consider right for two persons. Clean n tidy. Feedback for the hotel condition : Possible to manage to strong smell from ur laundry area ? As the lobby are full with the detergent smell. (It did not bother us much, but Juz a thought that u could improve it u lobby ambience) One tips for travellers, do not return to hotel around 5-6pm, as near by there has a school, traffic after school time is horrible . Last but no least , still very satisfy with this hotel. Will definitely suggest it to all my Frens.

A room a bit smaller than was expected”

Everything about this hotel is fine, except the room is quite small, and the ground floor room is very very noisy. Overall it is a good value accommodation

Good hotel good location ”

Stayed for 8 days here in this hotel. Staffs was super nice no problem checking in. Room was small but nice n comfy clean for one person. Location is good with alot food within walking distance. There a highland coffee shop for 1min walk which was very convenient. Overall enjoyed n would stay again. Thankyou for good service.

My only complaint is that for some reason it's really hard to tune the water temperature in the shower. It's always either really hot or really cold. I've stayed here quite a few times in different rooms and all of them are like this. Everything else is great though!

Adequate and could be improved”

We were looking for a place to stay close to city center and this hotel is exactly that: close to the city center, in the middle of a quiet and spacious alleyway, with a small front yard of greenery making very good first impressions. Other than that: * Cleanliness: when we first arrived, the toilet needed to be flushed because there was a big bundle of hair still floating around, yuck! * Hospitality: not very professional, compared to other places that we have been to (for example, Ta Mai Son is similar in both location and service, but the staff is way more friendly and professional). The one staff member that we are most happy with is surprisingly the security man, who consistently greeted and opened doors for guests, making us feel welcomed. * Facilities: A bit dated, we are most unhappy about the way the mattress is mounted to the bed frame, or rather a lack of it. After one night sleep the mattress has almost slided off!

Great value hotel”

Overall it is a great hotel for the price you have to pay. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Hotel is relatively new. Will definitely come back if the price maintains at this level. Only catch is the hotel policy on upgrade. Complicated and inconvenience.

Very good”

The staff were friendly but English was fairly limited for most of them. The room was great, very clean. They moved my room half way through my stay, but did everything and apologised for the inconvenience and moved me to an even better room. Both rooms I stayed in were extremely close to reception which was loud at a few inconvenient times (late at night/early morning). Can’t hear any street noises and given its central location that was very surprising. The location was great and I had no issues with the wifi. It’s a good place to stay if you want to feel like you’re away from the other tourists but still within walking distance to all of the attractions.
