Dump Heaven”

Unclean, toilet would not flush, bed too soft (back ache) - overall a very worn room. ..outside room , a seedy crowd kept filtering through the parking. Noise level was high: next to freeway and unsavory characters shouting in the hallway in the middle of night. Staff were very inattentive.

Afraid ”

Very scary. Homeless people everywhere. We were frightened and then couldn’t get in our room because the door was broken. Had to switch rooms. It’s basically a motel 6.

Near the Airport”

After staying at la Quinta for one night, I have to give it a one star. We arrived in Phoenix on a midnight flight and needed somewhere to stay just until the next day. I googled hotels that were close to the airport, this hotel seemed to be the best choice. They had a decent price, close proximity and a breakfast. I would NEVER stay there again. We checked in at about 1:30am and although the desk person was very kind, it is not in a safe area. There were people around outside (at 1:30am) and I have not idea (nor do I want to know) what they were doing. It was also obvious that there were some people living in the rooms. The first room we were given keys to had not been cleaned. This is after getting our young kids and all of our belongings into the room. I then locked the door with the manual lock and had my husband go down to the front desk. They gave us new keys and we went to a different room. The room next door had a sheet of plywood covering the window. After we got into our room we checked around to make sure it was all ok and locked the door. We never felt safe but were thankful for the manual lock on our door. In the morning I went down for breakfast- it was minimal and again not clean. A few pieces of bread for toast and muffins. There was a waffle maker, but no batter. There was a juice machine, but it was out of order. I’m so sorry that this area is so rough, I wish I’d known how bad it was prior to booking.

This facility was terribly run down and awful. Bathroom so awful we didn't even want to use the shower! Don't waste your money - stay somewhere else!!

Ok for a quick sleep only”

We did not feel safe. The shower had a weird stain. My girls ended up with big bites. We had someone pound on our door several times at 8 am which scared us. We stayed here only as our flight got in so late that we did not want to drive at night.

Covid”

Nice place but don’t follow COVID protocols. You sign a list of things to comply with, one of which is wear a mask in lobby by guests. Staff and others were not wearing a mask, except myself.

Don't stay”

Did not feel safe as door did not seem to seal and area was filled with homeless. Homeless were even in ice area. Activity all night long.

Dirty room”

I was shook when I open my room door They gave me a dirty room they said they had no idea it was dirty because in the system it says it's clean they did apologize and gave me a master room for the same price,..although I'm still waiting on my deposit.
