Best choice you can do (La Natura vs. Sophia's Gar”
I always found it difficult to find a nice hotel in the Philippines with a good price. La Natura is an excellent hotel with great value for money. It is a place where everything is perfect; big and nice room with nice garden view, very nice staff, excellent local and Italian food and a great atmosphere. Why should you choose the hotel; - family run hotel with great staff - since the owner is Italian, not just local food is excellent (one of the top 5 restaurants I have been in the Philippines). They often ask you to order your dinner in advance so they can buy the food fresh and it was always excellent. - the atmosphere is great. From the pool you can see the jungle and you can here the birds. - the location is not in the town but it just cost 150 pesos to get there. However everything you need you get there and it is actually not worse to stay in Coron. It is rather better getting picked up for here by your tours (you can book in the hotel) and having a relaxing place after your trips. La Natura vs. Sophia's Garden; Actually I came to La Natura just accidentally since the hotel of my fist booking got destroyed by the storm and Sophia's was fully booked so I spent one night at Sophia's and the other nights at La Natura. Atmosphere: La Natura - tropical paradise/ Sophia's - colonial style Staff: La Natura - very friendly and always trying to make everything perfect/ Sophia's - friendly but nut so much engaged Room: La Natura - big/ Sophia's - small View: La Natura - jungle/ Sophia's - just garden Time to Coron city center: La Natura - 15-20 min/ Sophia's - 5 min

A little gem of a place”
I don't think that we could have done any better than staying at La Natura during our week in Coron. La Natura is out of Coron town: a very bumpy road takes you to the interior, past little farm dwellings and cashew nut groves. It's a little oasis away from the chaos and gasoline fumes: green grass, tropical flowers and a thousand birds hold a promise of rest and pampering, and La Natura delivers. Clean, tasteful rooms, large bathrooms with plenty of hot water, comfortable beds (but the pillows could be softer): Italian/Filipino Gillian and her staff really shined in making your stay comfortable. Wendy and Pat anticipated our needs, and the two young women in the kitchen consistently turned out impeccable dishes, whether at breakfast -with some of the best pancakes we've ever had- or lunch (great sandwiches -like homemade chicken pesto-and salads) or dinner, with either Filipino dishes or great Italian seafood pasta (perfectly al dente!) and risotto, everything we tried was fresh and delicious. A special mention goes to their homemade wheat bread: in a Country where all store-bought bread seems to have sugar in it, La Natura wheat bread was a most welcome and delicious respite. Food portion were very large but everything was so good we never seemed to leave any morsels behind, so our waistline were not grateful! The Internet connection was weak, with somewhat better luck in the evenings, enough to check on your emails, but don't expect too much while in the Coron area. One suggestion I would make is to have "greener"(water-saving) options in cleaning the rooms. Many hotels all over the world have signs in the rooms asking their guests to put towels in a specific place if they want them changed, and a card over the bed if they want the sheets washed. We didn't need the sheets and towels changed every day, but we did want the bed made and the room serviced...a sign in the bathroom asking people to conserve water would also be useful. La Natura would save resources

a perfect place to stay in Coron...”
Our stay in La Natura was so relaxing! After days of island hopping, La Natura was the best place to relax and reminisce upon all the spectacular sights one has just visited all day…. There was always a huge feast, prepared by the hotel staff, which we heartily ate during our island hopping tours. The staff were always helpful, ready to assist you, with a smile. The owners were also always present to lend a helping hand…. Special thanks goes to everyone in La Natura Resort who organised a special dinner for us in the treehouse…. Hopefully, we can see Coron and stay in La Natura again….. A 4-day stay in La Natura Resort itself, is short to appreciate the place.

FANTASTIC & peaceful resort- will not disappoint!! ”
This resort is absolutely amazing and so peaceful. We had the most relaxing stay of the Philippines here. You are greeted by their cheerful staff with juice & a cool towelette. The rooms are spacious and the beds are large. Not to mention the rooms are very clean. Every morning they are maintaining the beautiful landscape and pool (one of the highlights of our stay- it's so refreshing and clean). We are at the restaurant multiple times and haven't found food like it since. The spring rolls and chicken curry are to die for. The La Natura salad is great and hearty! The complimentary breakfast is super tasty as well. Overall, this resort is a little out of the way but the nature & quiet atmosphere makes it a hidden gem here in a Coron. The staff is phenomenal and SO HELPFUL/ KNOWLEDGABLE about the area. We cannot wait to go back!! Thank you La Natura for everything :)

Our stay in La Natura”
The location - yes is 20 min trike to town, yes it is bumpy but I have enjoyed every bump of it rather than staying in Coron town. The resort - rooms are clean, cozy, the outdoor space is beatiful and well maintained. The restaurant - looks much more clean than those in town, we ate mkst of the time here and the food was good with large portions. I tried Giniling 2 times, but the second time I felt sick the day after. First time no problem. The staff - probably the best staff I met until now. Very helpful and careful. Keep up the good job. I definitely recommend La Natura Resort for those who want to stay in a tranquil place in Coron.

First day , I was embarrassing one thing becoz they don't have safe box in the room. But when we stay at Resort during 5days , thier staff dont touch anything and even service tip. Later i told get the service tip then they get it. too honest. but I hope if equipped with safe box more good to thier guest.

Wonderful and relaxing”
We stayed for 4 nights though could have quite happily stayed a week longer. Having stayed in many areas in the Philippines I was very impressed with the modern design of the room. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, it was easy to relax and switch off from normal life. We were very impressed with how attentive the staff were. When sitting by the pool and even when in our room, the staff would make sure we always had complimentary cold water. The breakfast was delicious, we also ate in the evening 'chicken adobo' fantastic! There has obviously been a lot of effort put into this resort, it really was wonderful and I will be recommending La Natura to friends and family. Thank you La Natura!

A beautiful resort off the beaten path”
I booked two nights at La Natura through agoda.com. When I first arrived, I was a little disappointed to find out it was not in the town proper. However, after staying both nights, I booked another 4 nights because it was so quiet and relaxing. The staff are all so amazing and very friendly. They will help with any accommodations that you might want/need. After spending some time in the town proper, it was nice to come back tou quiet resort. I had some friends who stayed in town and told me it was quite noisy at night. At La Natura, you will sleep peacfully with the sounds of the river running by. It is owned by an Italian man and his filipina wife so the restaurant has great Italian and Filipino dishes. Their kids help out on staff as well and they are so welcoming. I felt like I was staying at a friends place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some quiet rest and relaxation.

Perfect Stay”
When we first stepped into La Natura we didn't want to leave. And that is exactly what we did for most of our free time. After our tours we went straight back and spent the rest of the day by the pool. I love every minute of it! My friend and I are lamenting how much we miss this hotel as I type this. We miss the amazing sleep we had, the great service, and the feeling of truly being relaxed. Thank you for taking care of us! We are both so happy we booked a hotel far from the city. It was like our own Secret Garden. P.s. Signal for Globe is iffy at best, if you want to contact them go w/ their Smart number. Wifi is fast thank goodness. P.p.s. If you want to disconnect with the digital world this hotel is for you. I adored not being able to check my phone 24/7. I enjoyed reading a book and being one w/ nature. It was such a lovely retreat. P.p.s. Book your Airport transfer to the hotel as Travel Agencies will charge a premium as it is 15 minutes away from Coron Town.

Hidden Beauty! One with Nature”
La Natura is the perfect place if you want to unwind, relax and get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a hidden place and tucked in Nature. Only 15-mins away from Coron City Town proper. They also serve sumptuous food and have lots of options if you're vegan or vegetarian! They have a nice pool, tree house overlooking the beauty of the whole property and a Restaurant. Wifi is limited and no AC rooms. Perfect place for to do Digital Detox. I love that this place is also Ecofriendly, all rooms are fan but they are spacious and well designed thus making it cool! The Staff and owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly! Say Hi to Drago when you visit this place. So adorable! Surely wanna stay here again! My family and I surely had an awesome time!

A wonderful hideaway full of nature”
The La Natura Resort is one of the best we experienced in the Philippines. It's like a beautiful hideaway with a huge garden, relaxation areas, a wonderful pool and nice cottages with balconys. Everything is designed openly so you always feel like sitting in a nice garden full of flowers, bird and trees. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly all the time. We had a wonderful time to relax and ease our minds. It might be a bit far off - which gives you the perfect opportunity to calm down. But you can take a tricycle to go to the town proper (15 minutes ride) or take advantage of the daily island hopping tours. We would definitely recommend it and book it again. :)

Relaxing, quiet. ”
Unfortunately, the weather in Coron was bad and I was suffering from illness when I arrived. The staff at la Natura were so friendly and helpful to me in my unfortunate situation. Nothing was too much trouble. As long as you are happy to pay 150 pesos to be transported to and from the hotel, then I'd highly recommend it. The roads aren't great, especially in the wet season. It's in a beautiful, relaxing location, surrounded by trees. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. And the staff were wonderful.

One with nature”
One thing La Natura has that none of the other coron hotel have is the tranquil environment, once you are inside La Natura, it feels as though you are one with nature. Birds chirping, butterflies flying around, landscape is really nice. The room itself is pretty nice, with your own bungalo. Staff is amazing, they are there when you need them. Only problem is La Natura is very far from coron town. You will need to go on a trike and it will take 20 mins to get to town. They have a service trike so it is not hard to find one, fare is 150pesos one way up to 4 people. There are also no stores or restaurant close by so you really have no choice but to eat at their restaurant or eat when you are in town after your planned activities. If you like quiet, relaxing, far away from the hussle and noise of town, then this hotel is for you. But if you like to walk around, be close to town, then I suggest you find another hotel.

Exceptional”
Sorry for the late review. Stayed in La Natura with my fiance, for our Anniversary Trip. And it was the perfect place to disconnect from the busy lifestyle we had in Manila. The location is far from the main city and you will need to ride a 20 min tricycle to get you to the resort. There's limited signal in the rooms also, but they have wifi in the common area which you can use if you need to. The rooms didn't have aircon but it didn't bother us at all, since the place was rainy and windy when we stayed. Overall, loved the stay here. Again, it's the perfect place to disconnect from everything.

Nice resort with big and clean rooms”
La Natura is a very nice resort. The place is serene. The crew were nice. It is a relatively new resort. The bedroom was huge and the bathrooms were very clean and spacious. I would definitely go back here next time I go to Coron! For superb island tour services, contact Jason +639085053687 ultimatecoronexperience@gmail.com.

La Natura was amazing! A little far from the town but the staff always provided you with a way to get around Coron. Very helpful staff especially when it came to booking the island tours. Food was great and affordable. Rooms were nice and always clean. Honestly, no complaints. Thank you La Natura!

Een verademing!”
We stayed here recently for 3 days. It was our choice not to be on the beachfront but instemde be more inland with lust greenery and and quiet and peaceful surrounding. This was exacte what we got including very friendly and accomodating personel. When we arrive in Coron we were already happy with the choice we made as it is noisy and dirty. La natura is a very good escape. It takes a short 15min drive of which 10min on a bumper dirty rond. We would definitely recommend this place.

Relaxing laid back atmosphere”
We had 4 days in la natura, and it was such a relaxing beautiful and quiet place to stay - in good distanse from the noise and traffic of Coron town. The poolside is lovely, there are two treehuts that gives an overlook of the surrounding area. The rooms are new, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff can easily organize motorbikes for rent and boat tours. The food was okey - some dishes a bit too spicy, but in general very good.
