Excellent reception staff! Breakfast was fine although the option of a continental breakfast would have been appreciated.

Bad”

Objectively speaking, the only redeeming feature was the breakfast service.
Deceived by the pictures, the hotel was dirty and the service was below one-star standard. The service and the price were totally disproportionate and the attitude taken by the front desk toward the guests' needs was to stall with deception. If you have the same budget, I would recommend you to stay in a 5-star hotel chain or you will be endlessly disappointed.

A beautiful, old-world hotel in the city centre, near shopping, museums, and restaurants.”

I stayed in the superior Suite Pomerol, which is very large and quiet, with a nice bathtub and incredibly high ceilings. the bed was very comfortable and the linens lovely. The location cannot be beat and the breakfast was plentiful.
This is France - so the air conditioning is not exactly incredible, and the public areas of the hotel are not air conditioned at all and are very hot. The room stayed cool enough to sleep in, however.

Gorgeous historic hotel in the center of Bordeaux”

The hotel was in a beautiful old building literally steps from the cathedral.
The location was great, but very hard for our taxi to access. it’s in an area where cars cannot drive, so access is a bit difficult. We tried to get a taxi to the train station when we checked out and they wouldn’t pick us up because they couldn’t get to the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, and our room was very spacious and comfortable. However, what really made our stay stellar was Carolina at the front desk! she recommended 2 great restaurants for dinner that we absolutely loved, and was tremendously helpful with recommendations, directions, etc. She made our stay a truly memorable experience. Gracias Carolina!

Fantastic hotel good location”

Location fantastic..walking distance to lots restaurants & river. Opposite tram B which goes up to the wine museum .the tram service is very good.......they got in touch with "Vertbordeaux" ( vineyard visit company, as we were struggling to find availability...who was fantastic to use..very good English and was from Bordeaux they also took us to St Emillion....we did private tour..well worth it) ( I would definitely use this company direct again to arrange another visit) the breakfast was well worth having and excellent choice. Hot and cold available & prompt service . The hotel can help with links for river cruise which was great. The hotel is excellent we stayed in a double air-conditioned room ..huge bathroom, very quiet..can't hear the tram outside. The hotel has been kept to the typical French style..it has a cool courtyard to sit in, when we visited there was a heatwave. Lots of great places to eat in all directions from the hotel. They also arranged a taxi for our return to the airport. All colleagues who work there are very pleasant & speak good English. They will email prior to your visit if you need any help .
We had no bad experiences
