Older style garden resort with friendly service.”

The resort is one of the first accommodations you pass along the National Highway going to Coron town from the airport which is about 40 minutes away by van. The accommodations are clean and well maintained with friendly and welcoming staff.The resort is located next to a cock farm so be ready for an early wake up call. This wasn't too bad as it gave us plenty of time to explore the surrounding areas. This was the first time to visit Coron and we will stay at Kokosnuss Garden Resort again on future trips.

Fabulous Holiday - We arrived at Kokosnuss after a long flight from New Zealand. The staff greeted us with a cold beer which was gratefully received! My partner & I stayed in a large bungalow which was a perfect size for the two of us. Our room had air con, a fan & our own bathroom. The walls were painted as an aquarium & palace garden which we thought was groovy. The location is brilliant, short distance from town but futher enough to indulge in some piece & quiet. Surrounded by garden, a small pool and water features Kokosnuss is a great place to stay. We will be visitng again & highly recommend to any one travelling to Coron that appreciates a little character :)

Wonderful Accommodations ”

This was our families first stop in a three week trip to the Philippines. Kokosnuss Garden Resort was the perfect place to adjust to the heat and time zone. It was a beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy little town. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing!. They helped us organize island hopping as well as our ferry tickets to El Nido. The pool was terrific. The property is much more lovely than the photos show it to be. Would definitely recommend.

Great value for a sanctuary and excellent staff!”

Kokosnuss is a great place to stay if you want a peaceful and relaxing location. The owners are generous enough to give us a free room upgrade when we arrived! THANK YOU! The Large Bungalow is very spacious and have lots of racks and table where you can place your things. It is well lit and you have different light options to choose from and we love the wall murals! They have lots of power outlets and trash cans which some other resorts forget to put in. The room is generally neat though the bed sheet we had had some stains. The bathroom is very large! And they have live plants in it. I would suggest they add a bathtub to these spacious bathroom to maximize the space. Some tourists will love this! You can increase the rates for the rooms with bathtubs. :) The place is conveniently located 10mins from the town (walk, yes we walk most of the time) or 5mins if you ride a tricycle (P10 per person fare). It may not be in the town proper, but you'll have a more peaceful environment. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They are always ready to assist you in your travel needs. They also give you the best advice on what to do for your tours there in Coron. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back in Coron.

Value for money and great location”

We enjoyed our stay at Kokosnuss Garden Resort. We stayed at the small bungalow -- one thing to note though is that there's no door in the bathroom (only curtain to close it) and surprisingly there's no sink. I wasn't prepared to experience that cos i read some reviews from agoda and never see that coming. But other than that, the welcoming/accommodating staff and great location and value for money more than make up for that. Highly recommended this place.

A Paradise within a Paradise!”

we really enjoyed our stay at Kokosnuss Garden and Restaurant. The vibe was earthy and we really enjoyed the aesthetics. We don't want to stay in a hotel like accomodation and Kokosnuss Garden and Restaurant gave us that. We got a free upgrade by the way! Our room was changed from awesome to super awesome! Clean and comfortable”

We stayed at Kokosnuss for one night due to a flight cancellation and only booked with them because they had rooms available and allowed credit card payment. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the place was considering the modest price and would not hesitate to stay again on our way into our out of Coron.

Kokosnuss Garden is in best location. Quiet and very nature. There are trees around and thousand kinds of plants. There is a swimmingpool in the middle of the resort.That is beautiful day and night.Very nice to stay there when you know you are safe. Even in the middle of the night.The staff are very warm and friendly. Only one concern, the toilet in the room no.8 where I had stayed really smells bad. That I can smell inside the room. But I surely return. I love the place,the people and the location.

Unique hotel with amazing pool ”

The hotel itself is only 1km from the main nightlife area which is ideal. We stayed in one of the wee bungalows which were very spacious! The swimming pool area was lovely, plenty of sun loungers and a nice clean pool. The only negatives I have is the WiFi doesn’t work and there are many insects flying around as it’s a garden hotel. Overall, we had a great stay and wouldn’t recommended KokoSnuss to anyone visiting Coron.

One of the best hotels in Coron”

The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathroom has a nice touch of including a mini-garden inside it! The four poster bed was comfortable. Breakfast (not included in the overnight price) was excellent. Although it's a 15 minute walk into town, there are plenty of trikes passing by if you really need transport. The hotel also has a large garden in which to relax. Definitely one of my favourite Coron hotels.

Quiet place among the trees and the fireflies”

Kokosnuss is a garden type resort 5 minutes from Coron town proper. The new rooms are well appointed but the old ones are quite shabby. We had to transfer bungalows because the aircon just stopped working. However, the good food and good service by the staff make up for the minor inconveniences. I also appreciate the fact that the staff went out of their way to make our dinners really special - preparing a beautiful table setting in the garden. While it's a ride from the town, the place is more quiet and peaceful. It has the feeling of home away from home; a nice place to relax after a day of swimming and adventure. I would recommend Kokosnuss to my friends but I would specify that they get the new rooms.

Great hotel with fantastic staff! ”

This is the third time I've stayed at kokosnuss and again it was a pleasure. The staff are fantastic, alma and melvin offer a fantastic service making you feel part of the family. Food is reasonable and very tasty with good sized portions. We stayed in the small bungalow and it had good facilities with a good air conditioning unit. If you want a cheap hotel with excellent service Kolosnuss is the place.

Perfect Setting for a residence in Coron”

Absolutely wonderful. It is the perfect place to stay in Coron for all of us (we were a group of 8). The rooms may be small, but they are just perfect because the big spacious garden feels like it is part of the rooms too, with all the wonderful species of birds playing around. It is the right kind of scenery you would like to come home to after a marvelous adventure, and to wake up to before beginning your adventure. The bathrooms are spacious enough.

Great priced Bungalows with a garden”

We had a great stay in our large bungalow. The bathroom is really cool with an outdoor feel to it. High ceilings througout the bungalow. The garden and the bungalows was greatly affected by the tyfoon but the crew has made a great job with the restoration and when we were there (in december) they started up the pool again. Be prepared that there are roosters in the whole area of Coron. It does not matter where you stay, you will not get around that little issue. Bring earplugs! A big thanks to Alma who is very attentive and took care of us in the best way.

Excellent”

We booked Kokosnuss due to last min decisions and it wasnt super good or bad. Staff was kind and friendly. Only thing I wished that was better was the Air Con within our rooms. All rooms had one windown screen that was permanently exposed to the outside while the Air CON was turn on. SO the room never could get cool. Aside form that the fans in the rooms kept us cool enough though. Not bad for the prices....but could be better.
