Excellent Service”
This hotel was a pleasant surprise for our family. I chose this hotel for its location/convenience - we were attending a wedding and it had to be near the church and the wedding reception. We did not know that we would experience excellent service in this hotel. The front desk personnel, the restaurant staff and the housekeeping department all went out of their way to make our three (03) night stay worth it. We booked three (03) rooms and one (01) room was upgraded from superior to deluxe just to make sure that all three (03) rooms were in the same floor and adjacent/across each other without any extra charges. They also allowed an early check-in of 9:30 a.m. for the two (02) rooms which was really good for our Eighty-Four (84) year old mother who arrived in the morning and who needed to rest. The food served for breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious. The waiters and chefs remembered our food preferences and we truly enjoyed the special attention they gave all of us.

Breakfast Menu”
During our check-in, the receptionist told us that buffet breakfast is not available but instead will be served on a platted set meal but we can ask for a refill. But the following day while we are enjoying our breakfast since we received a prior instruction that we can ask the crew to refill whatever we want, the dining crew told us that it is a single serving only and no refill for our breakfast. I love the bacon and toasted bread but have been advised that we are not entitled to a refill. I am OK if no refill but I think, the crew should be aligned in giving instructions to the guest so we can manage our expectations, but so far, we have am excellent stay.

The Hotel is very nice ..the ckeanliness, the christmas decorations is very good.the staff is super nice like they treat us like a VIP. The food is verygood too..our staying in the hotel is Perfect even we feel the hit of Earthquake..Davao is a very nice place esp. When you're in the Verynice hotel like Royal Mandaya hotel..Thanks to my niece for choosing this place and booking thru agoda.Perfect!

Worth for your money ”
We always stay in this hotel every time we have our family vacay, staff are so friendly Tight security for our safety, very clean and all the staff are so accommodating. The only issue was the pool is under renovation but overall perfect place to stay in Davao City. Very near for everything.. malls, church, restaurants.

Most importantly cable and internet is working. Needs renovation because it looks old and I think more lights so to add a bit more energy and liveliness . The hotel does its best with the improvement as I see major engineering works outside and ain't a big disturbance during our stay. I can't wait to be back when their pool is operational. Although its old, there is still the feeling of luxury. We were not able to use our free breakfast because of our toddler's tantrums but their restaurant looks nice. Happy with the room service anyway and the ordered food is a high quality. Hope when we return, the hotel looks very attractive and new. The overall staff are customer focused and warm. No dissappointments at all.

Bang for your buck”
The place is near roxas night market, so that’s a plus. The hotel felt luxurious, though it’s on the old hotels but they they are not dated at all. The room we were assigned to was great, just like what we have requested. And for the price that we got it, it’s really worth our money. Plus, the buffet breakfast was good, I especially like their pineapple, although i wish they also had durian as one of their fruits but I understand that not anyone would’ve liked it. Overall, i would recommend this place. Note: They are undergoing major rennovation, so their pool is not accessible if it’s a big deal for you.

Value for Money, Excellent Location, Very good staff”
I booked this hotel for my husband as he attended Ironman Davao, the room is clean, staff are great and pleasant, I requested for late checked out until 2pm and they told me that they cannot guaranty that my request can be granted, but they did! and to my surprise they allow my husband to stay until 5pm without additional charges. Room were spacious, rate is way cheaper than other hotels in the area, location is excellent. Will recommend this hotel for those who want to visit Davao looking for affordable price,great location, and good service from staff. Kudos!

Excellent location”
We booked the Superior Room Twin bed. Although the room needs updating, it is really clean and complete with amenities. Staff are really nice and accomodating, Breakfast food was also good. The main seller for this hotel is the location. The hotel is found in the city center and at the end of the street from the hotel is a 711 and on the other end the Pasalubong center. On the hotel itself, you can find the Apo ni Lola with the same price as the one in San Miguel Village. Roxas Night Market is within walking distance and the Cathedral plus City hall one jeepney ride.

An old hotel but well maintained. Good breakfast selection. Accessible to transportation and walking distance to interesting places in the city - people's park, roxas night market, etc. The security doesn't allow entry of smelly food like langka, durian, dried fish, etc. so you end up temporarily housing these at their storage area.

The food is very good too the only thing we could mention was the work for the new swimming pool,but once they have to do it and we will surely come back when its done coz then all will be complete.
