Excellent hotel on the water in Chantaboon. Nicely decorated hotel in traditional Thai style. Very good food and friendly staff. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice deco design n young staff. Live music n only “ alive n happening place in town” old ancient style n doors etc. Small room. Hate the dark room with green windows yellow lighting. Cant see n stiffing

Decent hotel”
it's not the taj Mahal but it was fine. I slept well. the AC worked well. the internet was fairly fast. there was a big cockroach in the bathroom. the staff were rarely around or across the street at the sister restaurant.

overpriced, only for location”
room was not near 25m² as in booking description, maybe 12m² or 15m² at most. black painted walls and 2 small lights, no windows. so if you drop something on the foor you need a flashlight to find it. the ocation is good if you don't have your own transportation. Breakfast was the worst, and only watermelon, I thought I was in Thailand... And they were shooting for a movie in the street,so the personel didnt seem to have time for the guests.

For the exorbitant price (by Thailand standards) I expected more. Location on the river was nice and the street is lined with little restaurants and vendors selling various goods. You do not have to go far for a drink to ease the pain of all the money you just wasted on the room because there is a bar downstairs.

Tiny room but near the river ”
We paid for the upgrade room, but massively underwhelmed - shower had no hot water - sink tiles broken and missing on the corner - bathroom walls just plain grey cement. American breakfast used the cheapest possible ingredients, more in keeping with a hostel or budget guest house. It’s an overpriced hotel.

No coffee for breakfast. Rooms fun decor.”
No one spoke English in the morning. It’s a COFFEE SHOP but they won’t serve coffee for breakfast. Only Nescafé instant. Another guest was more upset about this than I was. No where to sit outside for breakfast because the hot, direct sun’s shining on the tables. They just didn’t understand that coffee is something guests appreciate as part of breakfast.

Very dark and smelly room.”
Room has no window. Even the reception area smell bad. Staff not friendly. It was raining and we asked to borrow an umbrella, staff said we don’t have any. Nice river side location but thats it.

Staffs were accommodating but facilities I think need to be developed ”
The room was not good and secure, toilet smell bad, no table and cabinet, I don't like dim light...for short I feel uncomfortable not worth it for 1k baht, I've been to a lot of hotel in Thailand I think this is one of the worse...but in fairness some of the staff were accommodating and outside the hotel looks vintage I like that ... thank you and God bless 🙏

Funky and Clean”
Came in to Chanthaburi for a very quick one night (24hrs) to meet some local friends. The only hotel I know that suits me is Tamajun Hotel. Same glorious view of the Chanthaburi river with the entire stretch of the Chanthaburi waterfront community at my doorstep. Wake up in the morning to have fresh hot breakfast from the many stalls selling local handmade, homemade delights. Sweets, treats or the whole meal. At night, whet your appetite as you walk past Steak In Time with fresh and hot BBQ chicken, pork or beef. If you prefer Thai food, many options are available from traditional to fusion. Coffee is best had at CAP. The baristas there will glady help you make your choice with the many blends and flavours available. At Tamajun, wine and dine the night away with a band that entertains with live music, music any way you want as they take requests if you rather hear a song you like. The main market is within walking distance and if you are coming to/fro the Chanthaburi bus station (from Bangkok, or Suvarnabhumi), your walk is approx 15-20mins. Stay for a night, or longer at Tamajun. Be greeted and served by very willing and friendly staff who do their very best to make your stay most memorable.

I believe the hotel was not at fault but agoda booking system. Be careful. Recommend river side room for lovely Verandah and views. Nice meals.

Each room have its own style, the breakfast is OK. But the hotel is harder to find if you won't have navigation. And the room isn't that quite I can hear when the other room flush their toilet

Good Accom, Nice Service, Delicious Restaurant”
The most thing that foods& beverages so great. They have many traditional menu with good teste and the singer is sing 80 & 90's songs. The room very nice and comfortable. If we come back again to Chanthaburi, we will choose this hotel again.
