"This was the best place we stayed in our whole Vietnam trip. It was so convenient! They arranged for hotel transfer for us. They were super helpful, and even ran to the pharmacy for us late at night. Atlas provides bikes which you can ride into town. It took us maybe 4 minutes to get to the edge of Ancient Town, although their policy is you cannot ride bikes in the town past 3pm. So get out early! There was also a free shuttle offered twice a day to go to An Bang Beach. We only stayed for 3 days, and never had a chance to take advantage of this service. But next time we definitely will! Our last day, we were leaving before breakfast opened and they even offered to wrap up to go boxes for us. They had great breakfast the first day, but the next day they had Chinese food for breakfast. I think this was because there was a big tour group staying at the hotel, but I preferred the Vietnamese breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms were super. Our AC was a little slow to get cold, but by then we were a little bit used to the hot weather. The only meh part about our stay was 4 of us decided to get massages, and even though the prices were not bad, I think it would've been better for us to go elsewhere for a massage. It seemed like there was only 1 trained masseuse, who was wearing the official uniform. And 3 others didnt look like they actually worked at the hotel. Overall Amazing Stay! Would definitely stay here again!!"

"This gem is located about 5 minutes walk from the old city which is not a problem at all and quite nice. The family that owns this place are absolutely amazing and the hotel is brand new and very well maintained. Room is great, super clean and tidy. Bed is very comfortable. Also free bicycle for hotel residents. In one word: recommended!"

"Strategically located to the center, but away enough, to be quiet in the room . Cozy, nice feel vibe, the stuff is friendly, if only the housekeeper would speak English would be a bit easier, but still, I go enough help from the manager via texting. The room is spacious, comfortable, cozy, nice bed and linen. The sitting cushions though could have been cleaner, and the bathroom water dispenser would switch from burning hot water to cold, it was difficult to find the right temperature at the shower, but the water pressure was amazing, and the bathroom very clean. Overal it was really great option for staying a couple of days at Hoi An. "

La Tonnelle Hotel
Cam Pho,Cam Pho - View on map
"If you want to experience the old Hoi An anytime during your stay (even in your sleep), pick La Tonnelle. If u expect large scale 5-star facilities then don't choose La Tonnelle (even though the staff is friendly and attentive) The hotel is located right in the old quarter. It must have been an old residence that was changed into a hotel. It's very small (only 3 rooms i think) with little 5-star hotel facilities but it gives off the antiquity and vintage feeling so representative of Hoi An with nice rooms and garden. The front garden cafe is a great add-on to the hotel and is one of the nice cafes to sit an relax in Hoi An. Even though the hotel is small, the rooms are well equipped and beautifully designed. The breakfast had very limited choice but was nice. I wouldn't complain considering the size of the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. Also, the hotel is literally 3-minute walk from the Japanese bridge. You can easily walk around to all the major attractions or rent a bike for only $1.5/day. We highly recommend biking around the old quarter and then to the beach. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in the hotel and will definitely come back whenever we visit Hoi An."

Hoang Thu Homestay
Cam Pho,Cam Pho - View on map
"Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It is good value place for the price - we paid around $16.50 per night for the Superior Double Room (with balcony). There was a mix up with our booking and when we arrived they had given our balcony room to another guest and bumped us to a ground floor room, which had a rock hard bed, and the windows opened into the neighbour's house and yard. We couldn't open the curtains because when we did people peered into our room. It appeared that the bottom room (Deluxe Room) is used by the family when not booked because when we arrived there were two family members in the room. The next day we were given another room (Mango Room) and it was lovely, at the rear of the property. Very quiet with a pretty view out over trees and neigbouring buildings. We liked the room a lot and so asked to stay in this room instead of the balcony room. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself clean. For breakfast they offer a range of fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes and fruit. You can even ask for Vietnamese soup, if you prefer. The food was good, fresh and enjoyable. The hotel also owns a cafe around the corner. We discovered on our last day that the cafe offers Hoang Thu Homestay guests free coffee. A lovely little touch, and we enjoyed a couple of iced coffees before we left. We arrived into Danang and the hotel arranged for a car to pick us up for only USD $15. This is a good price as it's a 40minute drive to Hoi An and catching a taxi is reputed to be at least $20. The hotel is located about 15 min walk into Old Town and there is a local market along the way and many places to stop and eat or buy a cold drink. The staff were friendly. The only real downside to our stay was the bathroom. There was a lot of black mould and slimy stuff on the tiles in the bathroom, which made it unpleasant to shower in. The hotel cleaned the room and bathroom daily but from what we could see, the bathroom was only hosed down and the mould was never cleaned."

Ancient Town*Big Balcony*Garden View*2 Beds*May R

"The room had uncomfortably hard beds, the door lock was broken upon arrival, and the mini-fridge didn't work. The room needed dusting, there was mold in the bathroom. The staff spoke no English which made communication tricky. Their price list of services didn't accurately reflect what they actually charged. Then to add insult to injury, the management told us we had to leave two nights early, before our booked time was finished, making us search for a comparable room somewhere else. They kept changing their story as to why we had to vacate our room. It was probably a blessing that we needed to leave. "
