Perfect Location and Good Value for Money”
I stayed in this hotel for 4 days just a couple days ago to celebrate the New Year 2013 in Lombok. The location of hotel is perfect, located right next to Senggigi Beach, just about 40 minutes away from the Lombok International Airport. The beach is just a stone's throw away from the hotel and could be accessed from the rear side of this hotel. To enjoy and waiting for the sunset is never as much fun as this. This hotel consists of several bungalows. It is adorning with an attractive and green garden and facilitating with swimming pool. I really enjoyed the beautiful and quiet ambiance. Facility of this hotel for me is standard, but I still could sleep well due to the amenities. What is lack for this hotel is the room is not equipped with bathtub. Breakfast was really good. I was surprised when I have found the breakfast menu at the first day and it was very worth how much you pay for. Service was very good and all of the hotel staffs were very helpful. My complaint to this hotel is you have to access this hotel through the entrance where located on smaller street from Senggigi Street. I was remember on Sunday when visitors to Senggigi Beach is peak, the street was getting jammed due to so many cars are parking on the street's side and make the hotel occupants difficult to access the entrance. But this condition was only appear one day out of four days during my stay there. In my opinion, this hotel is just good. The location at Senggigi make it near to so many restaurants, cafes, ATM, minimarkets, etc. If you are want to visit Gili Trawangan, Gili Nanggu or Sendang Gile Waterfall you can ask for hotel receptionist to find accommodation like rental car or rental boat. Inside the hotel complex you can find souvenir shops and it will help you a lot if you are looking for some souvenirs; price was considering competitive than other shops outside the hotel complex.

Stunning Balmy Location”
This was our first stay in the rebranded Kila Senggigi Beach Hotel (April 2014). Kila in Indonesian means "bright and shining" and "symbolizes the welcoming warmth of nature." Nature is indeed showcased at this Aerowisata Hotel with a stunning location on a spit of land that juts into the ocean bringing balmy breezes. Also, the palm fringed sandy beach and mature gardens with abundant plumeria and birds gives a visual and acoustical delight. Although not usually available on Agoda, but available at check-in for an extra $20/night are the beach bungalows that have comfortable porches with ocean views -- our choice for a restful stay. Also, not to be missed is a wood fired seafood pizza from the Beachcomber Braserie Restaurant where folks gather to watch the sunset and listen to the outdoor live musicians. Although the rooms now include a fast WiFi connection (previously only in the restaurant and lobby area), the smallish rooms have only 1 outlet. I recommend not buying from the hawkers of pearls, T-shirts, and sarongs on the beach, but head out to the main road where Bayan with set low prices now has 2 handicraft shops.

Senggigi's closest thing to a beach resort”
Lombok wants so very much to be like Bali, but it just is not. When it comes to the accommodation, at least, Lombok is lags behind its more popular neighbor. The Senggigi Beach Hotel is a good example of trying hard but not quite reaching Bali standards. It is not one of the new hotels in Senggigi, but it is one of the largest and most famous. And its location in the center of Senggigi's commercial center strip and on a small cape jutting out into the ocean is as good as it gets here. Senggigi Beach Hotel has a number of different room types, villas, ocean views, garden views, pool views, big rooms, small rooms, and some have even been recently refurbished. Either way, the deco inside the rooms is nice...not fresh exactly, but pleasant. The bed is comfortable, and the room and its bathroom are more than satisfactory. There are a number of restaurants on the premises. The main pool is of a decent size but nothing particularly fancy for a resort hotel. The gardens were clean and well-kept and a few interesting statues are dotted around the grounds. Some of the restaurants are on the hotel's private beach. The security guards do keep the vendors off of the property, so at least you can enjoy your view without any soliciting. The hotel is just down a side lane off the main part of Senggigi town, and its most popular clubbing/dining district is just a 2-minute walk from the front gate. I can't say that this place took my breath away, but it definitely is nice and relaxing.

Paradise”
Kila Senggigi Beach Hotel is a perfect place for a short getaway. Me and my brother were just looking for a beautiful place to chill over the weekend. During our stay we enjoyed everything the hotel could offer, the best part would be chilling out at the Italian restaurant in the evening to enjoy the sunset and cocktail drinks accompanied with live band music, which really made our stay perfect. The hotel is also walking distance to the streets outside, so you can get SIM cards around the corner and there are also some places to explore nearby. If you’re an adventurer, I’d suggest you to get yourself a driver to bring you around lombok, because it is located slightly further from some of the attractions. All in all, this place exceeded my expectation and it was a great stay. If you want to know more about my stay you can visit theparadeux.com for more photos!

Beautiful beachside resort”
Kila Senggigi is a beautiful resort. Pluses are the location, the beach and sunset view. Grounds are spectacular. The bungalow rooms are very nice, but not spacious. The Wifi worked pretty well. The restaurant was nice. Each evening they offer a buffet dinner option for between 200k and 250k (about 17 to 21 USD) per person which we did not partake. It would probably be a great deal for a teenage appetite but we don't eat that much. We had a great Cesar salad (missing anchovies) and the pizzas we ordered were good. The hotel is within walking distance (500m) of the main road if you want to try an outside restaurant or check out the shops.

Great Value for Money!”
My partner & I stayed at the Kila Resort for 3 nights in December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had ocean views from our room balcony which also looked over the beautiful hotel grounds. Everything in the room was clean & in good working order. Staff were amazing & friendly & very helpful. The resort is just a short walk from the main street in Senggigi which made going out for lunch & dinner easy. We enjoyed lazing by the pool during the day, snorkelling at the hotel beach and enjoying cocktails by the beach with live music at the sunset bar. We would definitely stay at the Kila Resort again!

Relaxing Oasis in the heart of Senggigi”
I don't get the reviews that knock this hotel, its a four star resort which you get for a four star price - with it being a relaxing oasis on Sengiggi beach. Our family (2 adults, 2 teenage boys) stayed in 2 adjoining seaview bungalows before Christmas 2013 & found the rooms comfortable & well appointed. Best of all was the location - on the beach & surrounded by lush & well manicured tropical gardens. Staff were friendly & keen to help & the hotel amenities of a pretty high standard. Nice pool, great treatments in the spa, & there was a good mix of food in the restaurants. We liked the beach bar, with sunsets over Bali & a very competent band knocking out rock 'classics'. Guest mix was interesting being drawn from dozens of nations, rather than any one country. As for complaints about morning calls from the Muezzin, well, you are in a Muslim country, so that's what you get. However, while the Hotel is a relaxing oasis, once you get outside it is a different story. The hawkers that people write about are pretty low key but it is Indonesians seeming complete disregard for the environment that is confronting. Sengiggi & its environs are surrounded by rubbish, particularly plastic of every kind (bags, bottles, food wrappers etc) but also the occasional discarded nappy. Rubbish is dumped outside properties & especially on watercourses which means after rain, which you get on the equator, it all ends up in the sea. As a result, everytime I walked on Senggigi Beach or swam off it, I found myself picking up rubbish & even when taking a diving tour, when surfacing I found myself in a ‘slick’ of plastic. Obviously, rubbish collection by Lombok authorities is completely inadequate &/or locals just don’t get what you do with trash, but it gives a sad indication that the oceans & the planet will soon be screwed. Nonetheless, for a relaxing resort holiday, I would recommend Senggigi Beach Hotel, just don't look over the boundary!

how do I start from the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted with huge smiles and friendly faces, with the most amazing words "welcome to home". The alena is a amazing hotel or home to stay the people that work there are friendly kind helpful and really love to talk and make your stay like being at home. The rooms are beautiful nothing was left for us they even made it cost for when we got back at night. The rooms were awesome and the bed super comfy. The hotel is large so it really does feel like a luxury relaxing and quite. but if you want to get to restaurants then senggigi is close and the hotel will drop and pick you up. what can is say it's been a pleasure and we will definitely stay here again. The beach was lovely and the food lovely. so quiet here and it's lovely to walk around the gardens. If you like to get away from lovely kuta bali and enjoy a quiet drink on the beach front.with food then come here. Kila thank you so much

A beautiful end to a lovely holiday”
Our stay was just for one last night on our two week back-pack around Lombok and the Gili islands and what a treat! We were unexpectedly upgraded upon arrival and had a fantastic stay. The staff are all very attentive, polite and caring. I had a manicure spa treatment which was wonderful and competitive in price to local spas in the area. I wish we could've stayed longer! Our breakfast was overwhelming in choice, all the wait-staff ready to top-up coffee/teas and the venue for it was large but without feeling like a canteen. Our room was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend Kila to anyone as the prices for various rooms seem reasonable, especially for such a great location. The venue was opened in 1987 and some aspects (our bathroom) felt a little bit dated but really, it feels like a place that has moved with the times in most areas, not rested on its laurels of a beautiful location. Thankyou Kila, for a perfect end to our holiday.

Senggigi Beach Hotel Review”
The Senggigi Beach Hotel is a very spacious hotel covering a large area and fronting two bays of Senggigi Beach. It is very relaxing, the room I had overlooked the beach and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast included in the price was really excellent. This hotel represents good value for money and is a great place to stay in Lombok.

Brilliant stay in a great hotel right on the beach”
Highly recommended hotel. The hotel is away from the main road, so is very quiet and is right on Senggigi beach, surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had a large clean room with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The staff were amazing. For the two days we were there, the manager helped us organise a full day trip to Gili Islands on our own speed boat and a driver for the second day to take us around Lombok (pink beach/lunch/market). An issue we had with our safe not working was sorted out very quickly. Great customer service. 3 minute walk to the main road that has 24hr mini mart and some great local restaurants. Would stay here again.

Lovely, Great facilities and location”
The island of Lombok( the island east of Bali in Indonesia) is much more reasonable than Bali and more unspoiled kind of like Bali was 30 years ago. Senggigi Beach is gorgeous, family and couples friendly with plenty of shops and diversified restaurants nearby. The hotel has restaurants on site as well with local and western offerings for travelers . A free breakfast is included. There are direct flights to Lombok from Jakarta and Bali(Denpasar). The airport is about an hour away. Definitely worth the trip as an alternative to Bali or as a quick getaway from Bali.

Fantastic beach hotel ”
a seaside room had not only a view of the water and proximity to the beach but also a fantastic porch to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. senggigi beach hotel is also ideally located with the art market a short stroll down the beach. the sandy beach has shady trees and is patrolled by local community guards who keep a watchful eye on vendors. there is active coral and the snorkeling was quite good directly in front of the hotel's beachside restaurant. there is also a very reasonably priced souvenir shop (not the mini-market) on the hotel grounds. also, on the nearby main road you can discover some gourmet cafes (see restaurant tips). i'm planning a return trip in november for a restful beach holiday.

Good hotel”
1. the beach is good. the ocean is without waves, corals, very easy to go. the benches are in very good condition. it wasn't crowded at all nevertheless it was high season. i remember only one day there was almost no bench available and stuff resolved the question very quickly. the stuff member was waiting for new people and arranging bench for everyone. 2. the hotel is silent. no one will disturb you. very good for relaxing. 3. the food is good. on breakfast and in a la carte restaurants. but it's a little bit overpriced. still worth to have a sunset in the restaurant near beach. they have happy hours for drinks and live music on sunset. 4. very convenient location in the center of senggigi village. a lot of restaurants and massages around. very affordable! they also have a spa inside hotel - prices are high so i didn't go. 5. the room is a little bit old but still in a very good condition. very clean and tidy. although i had a garden view room i was able to see the ocean from my balcony. 6. stuff is not chasing you to satisfy your every need :) but if you have question - they will resolve and arrange everything. the only one disadvantage - sellers on the beach. they are chasing you :))) whenever your eyes are open and you are not reading - they are talking to you, trying to convince you to buy everything from fruits to earrings. and they don't hear you no. it was annoying. if remove this - very good hotel to have a rest. i would really like to return to this hotel.

Great Location, Beautiful Sunset At Sunset Bar”
me and my missus enjoyed our one night stay at this beautiful hotel with a great garden. hotel ground basically take up most of the senggigi beach! enjoyed the scenery especially having dinner at the sunset bar, watching the sun set behind mount agung (bali island highest mountain). unfortunately, we have to move to sheraton senggigi beach resort the next day for another 4 nights stay (international conference at sheraton). the hotel staff was ever helpful, even arranging a foc transport to sheraton. the only cons - peddlers chasing after you if you ever step out of the hotel's private beach. however, this happens everywhere in mataram and senggigi. guess the locals need to earn a living.

Paradise in Lombok!”
We love everything about Kila, especially the sea view hugging the entire resort, and that the wifi password in our room is the same as everywhere else in the resort, so we don't have to keep keying in the password. Nice that the wifi speed Is fast too. Breakfast choice is good and meal prices at the restaurants are affordable and the food is tasty. The beach is clean and the water outside Kila is surprisingly clear enough for snorkeling. Resort ambassador Manda goes out of her way to chat and get feedback. We stayed in Kila 4 nights and at another resort for a night. Having also seen other resorts for a second visit, we have decided we will only stay in Kila.

Beautiful hotel in amazing location ”
We arrived at the hotel in the dark and woke up in paradise. Nice clean rooms set amongst beautiful lush gardens. The restaurants and pools overlook the beach, stunning location! We were there during the earthquakes and the staff were absolutely amazing, looking after us and continuing to provide excellent service throughout a scary and confusing time for us. We didn't get to see much of Lombok as our trip was cut short, but hopefully one day we can return and we would definitely stay at Kila again.

A place to stay away from home”
We went to Lombok for a business in Mataram and attending a party at 'Sugar club'. We had no idea where the location of the club is. We booked our rooms at Senggigi beach hotel. It turn out the location of the hotel is very convenient, walking distance to the clubs, restaurants and only 10 minutes by taxi to Mataram. The hotel itself has a nice big garden, friendly staff and good food. Crystal clear sea water to swim on the beach. Has a nice and good beach to relax too.

Kila is a huge resort hotel ”
I booked Kila for one night because the price was reasonable and the reviews were great. I’m not a big fan of large resort hotels and Kila is just that. It spans over a ridiculous amount of land and just feels wasteful. It doesn’t fit in with the Senggigi vibe in my opinion. They’ve set up a roped-in section of Senggigi beach which is typical for large resorts but again, just doesn’t feel right. The service, cleanliness, facilities, etc are on par with what a resort of this size would offer and so if what I’ve described is your cup of tea, then definitely stay here.
