Nice comfortable hotel”
Staying at Kharisma Hotel is a valuable experience since the hotel is very close to major attraction in Bukittinggi. Looking for food around the hotel was also very easy for budget travellers like us. As additional point is there is catholic church very near the hotel so you just need to walk about 5 minutes to find the church. Breakfast provided also quite good even though there were not so many choices.

Good service and great location ”
overall our stay is a good one even the room is a bit old. the room is clean. the location is good as it's a walking distance to jam gadang and pasar atas where you can do sight seeing n shopping. the food (batagor) around kharisma hotel is also good where you can go out for supper.

Nice and clean rooms with helpful staff ”
There was a slight error with agoda&hotel when we checked in - the room we paid for tturned out to be single (no room for extra bed even!) but the staff were very helpful so in the end we were upgraded to a superior room. Room is nice, clean, and compact. Bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall no problems. The view from our room faced a government building..so not too keen on opening the curtains much. Hotel is situated only approx 15mins walk away from Jam Gadang. With its price, the hotel is well worth it.

A Vacation Fullfilled - The Hotel Did Not Fail Us”
We booked two rooms one for me and wife and the other for my mom. Both ladies enjoyed the simple facilities provided by the hotel. My elderly mom was happy as the hotel lift worked properly so no problem for her to go up and down despite being assigned to the top floor as per our request. The breakfast was excellent simple and delicious. It was enough to give us strength to shop around the whole morning till we went for a break for a sumptuous Padang lunch. Indeed we had a great day enjoying our shopping-holiday and the hotel uplifted our spirit.

Too expensive for a very basic room”
First, the price in Agoda is slight expensive then the walk-in rate. And that was my 2nd time found out that the room price in Bukittinggi's hotels are better on walk-in rate. Second, with the pretty high price, you'll only get a room with a fan! What??!! Eventhough the Bukittinggi area is pretty chill, but you still need an aircon after walking a lot in the middle of the noon time. Third, the bathroom has a puddling water under the sink. And it's pretty nasty. It won't dry during my stay. The price is not suitable with the room condition i had. Fourth, the breakfast are not so special as the other guest here may told. It's so standard. The only good things from the hotel is the kindness of the staff which kinda helpful, and the bed is pretty comfy for sleep.

nice hotel for muslim traveler”
a good hotel to stay with family, especially the Muslim family. provided prayer mats and al-Quran as well as Qiblah direction for prayer. near the center of town, so if you are not driving,just walk from the hotel. food was pretty simple, but quite tasty.

Great Location”
i booked two different type of room, one standard and one deluxe. for standard room no fan and we finally upgrade the room. the furniture old. great location near restaurant, easily can get food and shop ,approx 15mins walk away from jam gadang, pasar atas and pasar bawah.

Hotel at convenient location”
It is a decent hotel near to city centre. The best is the lift and the shower water is hot enough. But try to add extra bed because the mattress is smelly and broken and it is unacceptable because we paid for that extra bed. We strongly requested for changing to another room. At the end, the hotel staff took a better one from the another room. Though it's still dirty, at least it gives support. Another thing is there is NO hair dryer in the hotel. NOt a single one available. Please bring your own if you plan to stay there.

Safe, Convenient and Clean”
Good stay with a clean, neat room although generally in need of updating. Breakfast had some variety and interesting items to it as well as eggs made to order. Moderate amount of road noise off and on so light sleeper with rooms facing the street might consider ear plugs or headphones.

Good location”
We booked the suite at this hotel but when we checked in, it was just a superior room. I paid extra for the suite. We were told that they have only 1 suite and the one I booked was actually a superior. We told the Manager that we were not happy and we even emailed Agoda to resolve this. After insisting, we managed to get the suite on the next day, which is a much better room. Actually the hotel is very old and the room is not very clean.

Good Location, but That's All ”
Not a stay that I want to remember! To be honest, it was awful as we were welcomed with horrible smell from the bathroom then bugs in our bed! And the torture not ended up there as we were given the wrong room next to the road, meaning, we had 2 noisy nights which made us stay up till dawn because it was just too noisy to handle. Other than good location where closer to two top restaurants (Rumah Makan Sederhana & Rumah Makan Simpang Raya), this hotel is simply a wrong choice.

with price more than rp 300,000 with very very standard facilities, i think this hotel is quite expensive.. no ac, tv channel only local indonesia, no view, very standard bathroom. the breakfast is not good
