Excellent service and great stay and amazing Palm at reception ”

We stayed at few different 4 stars resorts on Chaweng beach ( including Amari) during our stay at Koh Samui, the KC was the BEST hotel with the best cleanest beach and pleasant water from all of them. Knowing that we had 1 year old baby, hotel staff offered us a professional baby crib with the cozy baby bedding ( not a terrible play pan with the baby and one piece of bedding like in Amari). Hotel stuff was amazing, especially Palm from reception - he went above and beyond to make all our wishes to come true and feel very welcomed at KC resort. The breakfast buffet had good variety and compare to Amari, was refilled in time. The best part that every other even more expensive resort was lack of : the best clean private beach in front of the KC with the clean water without any seaweed and without any poisones sea Urchines ( compare to much more expensive Amari where you could not even swim due to the terrible water full of seaweed and warnings of dangerous sea urchines).

Located in Chaweng but a distance from the heart”

We booked the Luxury Sea view Room. We could see the swimming pool and beach, which was really nice. We Stayed in KC when we first arrived in Samui and went off away from Chaweng to other hotels, and came back to KC again. Our 18 days in KC, we stayed about 5-6 days. Rooms are good, except that we did get a room with the jacuzzi not working and had to change the room. New room was reeking of a sewage smell so we had a change again. 3rd room was great. Hotel doesn't provide toothbrush, be sure to get your own. KC's bed is one of the best i've slept on. When we were there the first day there was a buffet dinner. And there was a party. Was told by one of the restaurant manager that 5/7 days there's buffet dinner and party. But it only happened that particular first day. Breakfast is a disaster. I think everyone knows that so we only see a miserable 5 of us there for breakfast. There's no meat and only vegetables/salad. It's better just to book without breakfast. Overall great experience. But what i heard from real thai locals is that this hotel is in lawsuits with other establishments and the owners can't seem to get along with everyone else. That has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel but just thought it's something that might be of a concern to some travellers. Oh, and on a rainy day. the hotel lobby was flooded to our ankles. Due to the way and location in which it is constructed. Overall, this is quite an ok hotel. The reception staff are great.

Away from the mainstream noise in Chaweng”

We booked the Balcony Sea view Room instead of the Luxury Sea view Room. In comparison, it was quite similar except that other balconies nearer to the beach was in our way of the full view, but it doesn't matter anyway. The view was still picture perfect. Loved our stay at KC Beach Club”

Fantastic! This hotel is located in the best area of Chaweng beach. The beach in front of the hotel is great and the pool is very nice! The poolside entertainment is alot of fun! The food is really good and breakfast is amazing! I would recommend this beach club for anyone looking for some upbeat fun and music around a lovely pool! The staff were fantastic and very attentive and look forward to staying at this lovely hotel again.

Lovely hotel ”

The hotel was lovely and clean and in a ideal location just on the beach. The restaurant food was also very nice. We would definitely recommend KC beach club and also want to say a special thank you to May and Kreang for being so helpful with check out.

Great stay”

First: I highly recommend KC Beach club My only complaint and it is a small one is that the guy working the counter at night was weak in English. All the day staff was highly proficient in English. Great stay and the property if fantastic and really well located.

What an excellent stay it was !!!!!”

It was an excellent stay and really recommend this hotel to all. We have pool villa and worth to stay in villa of 2 bedroom and luxurious bathroom with own small pool. Pool Party of hotel is also an excellent event. Worth staying there.

Good Location but very very poor staff”

We booked for 4 nights in a Luxury sea view room and paid extra thinking the word “Luxury" meant the room would be an upgrade from the normal room. The room was exactly the same as a normal room but facing the sea view, mind you all other rooms have the same view, just rotate your neck 30 degrees and you see the same view as from the "Luxury" room, total marketing rip off, please don’t fall for it!! The rooms were very disappointing. The plumbing work in the toilets is a mess, clogged sinks, shower drains overflowing into rooms. We complained and were promised a visit by the maintenance team. No one turned up for 2 days. After getting fed-up with the service we decided to upgrade to a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool.. and paid extra because we did not want to ruin our trip due to bad room and bad service experience. Due to late flights we organized late checkouts, again of course we paid extra for it.. At exactly 6pm the hotel front desk sent the bell boy to collect our luggage. As we had children with us, we were running bit late. This caused a major issue with the front desk. We had 4 people standing outside our door to throw us out. All this was due to us being half hour late. The front desk staff whatever his name was being rude to the point that i almost beat him up. We spent a lot of money in this hotel with the upgrades, late check outs and the ridiculous amounts we spent on food and drinks at the pool bar and room service. This kind of staff behavior in the service industry is totally unacceptable. I left the hotel totally shocked with the staff's attitude. Having traveled extensively throughout the world.. i have never experienced this kind of behavior from any hotel staff anywhere!! So, if you are looking to get humiliated by the hotel staff, please plan your next stay in Kho Sumui at KC beach Hotel, you will not be disappointed.. bad service is guaranteed.

Fun, comfortable and relaxing”

The rooms and hotel looked exactly like how it was displayed on the photos here. We were very very pleased with our stay there and would definitely come back again. It was clean, beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The place was quiet as well. The only thing we disliked about the hotel was one of the staff members from the restaurant named WAS, was very curt and rude to us during our duration of stay there. We ordered food by the pool and restaurant several times and each time, we were unlucky enough to be served by WAS. He/she constantly looked very upset to be serving us and no matter how friendly we were, we were replied with curt remarks and slow service. Only when I spoke to another waitress did we get our food and drinks. Simple things such as requests for ice or extra glasses went unheeded and when we called out to her while she was passing us, she just ignored us and walked past. This is in stark contrast to the other staff, who remained helpful and courteous consistently. But overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family members.

A pleasant stay”

I enjoyed my stay at KC. It was a short walk to the main bars and restaurants and conveniently located on the beach. The staff were friendly, but there was too many rude guests make one hell of a noise at 4am in the morning and waking everyone up. Apparently the food they served was no good, but undone know for sure as I didn't eat at the resort.

Clean and big room with friendly and helpful staff”

Overall, it was a wonderful stay and experience. The room is clean and big. Location is excellent with local restaurants, cafes, bars and massage parlor within short walking distance. The beach is just right behind the hotel. If there is one area that needs improvement, it will be the breakfast spread. Too limited range and varieties.

It was nice but probably not worth it for the money”

A little bit far from the action. Mosquitoes are not THAT bad compared to most hotels in Koh Samui (they come in when housekeeping cleans the rooms). The hotel is sleepy and quiet so if you want to party it up a bit, Ark Bar (and hotel) is a few hundred meters up the beach. I might try staying there next time.

Nice location, a bit walking distance from the center but also quieter. The massage is the best ever I tried in Samui. The breakfast is ok, could be better.

Promises much but doesn’t deliver”

Yet again photoshopped pictures don’t reflect reality. The place is really old and needs some love and attention. Jacuzzi bath had a desk scum line, weird taps that hot/cold has worn off and towels that have seen better days. The saving grace that got an extra star for facilities is the bed... not too soft/hard and a good sleep... just a shame the minibar fridge compressor was very noisy when going off and there are floodlights streaming through the bleeding edges curtains. Clearly they have issues with guests taking towels as you have to handover a token to get beach towels...yet many guests simply abandoned them on loungers. Location not so good as as the southern end of the one-way road of Chaweng area, but that was known in advance. Fortunately there is a little shortcut road through “dead”land almost opposite you can cut through on a scooter. Staff fine, special mention to “Art” who sorted out membership benefits of a new programme that obviously marketing people had not properly communicated to frontline staff.

Unsatisfied booked for the pool villa unit with the description mentioned as below:- 1)description did mentioned -two bedrooms with bad tubs,but when check in found out only one bedroom available for bath tub 2)descriptions did mentioned-high speed wireless internet connection ,but had try can't access It,causing us have to buy IDD card by own. 3)descriptions did mentioned there is a living hall in the pool villa,but when check in found out no living hall n bedrooms were separated not connected. With all these had mentioned to the staff ,staff was replyed that it is a last unit villa,unsatisfied that should inform me earlier thru mail that what we had pay this price without the above facilities. It look like be cheated on what Agoda's description. The Price is expensive than our expectation without the description. Advised do not believe hotel descriptions
