Best on Mainland El Nido”
We stayed in the resort only a short time, wish we had discovered it earlier, for sure we will go back. Karuna El Nido is nested in the mountains with a spectacular view over the outlaying islands and sunset. The indonesian design and carvings of the villa and its Joglos is something we have no seen yet. Very nicely furnished and very big terraces to sit o and chill. We decided one evening to chill and just relax on our terrace and ordered food. Staff is very accommodating and goes out of its way with special requests.

Probably the best place to stay in El Nido with incredible views, and the best sunset on their infinity pool. Villas are clean & spacious villas with super view, and the staff is really nice, helpful and friendly. Best wifi in town, and works better than the internet hotspot we got

The rooms are spacious and beautifully wooden crafted. has a kitchen too. nice swimming pool.. the only thing i would like to recommend is to have a inhouse restaurent. every time ordering food from outside the hotel is not feasible.

Had the best time here. It's up on the hillside with terraces overlooking the bay. A wonderful oasis after a busy day of activities. Staff could not have been nicer and the restaurant/bar had a wide selection. Can't wait to come back here.

Very nice hillside view of El Nido town”
Although it is very steep to go up this property, it is so worth it. Their infinity pool in front of their restaurant has a good view of the sunset! It is so nice out and quiet! From the villa, you will have stunning views of the town and everything else El Nido has to offer.

Be prepared to climb a lot and sleep warm”
The resort is ina good/bad location. Close to most beaches and boat tours but resides on the side of a hill that is very steep. If you're athletic and in good shape, it's a good workout. For older, less fit people, it's tough. The villas are quite nice with the exception of the air conditioning. If you expect a cool room while you sleep, you maybe disappointed. The room never cooled off so humidity remained high. The Aircon is probably 5,000 BTU undersized.

The room I stayed in has cobwebs and a mark of the water-damaged ceiling. The tub has an orange stain ( I assume it is dirty but I asked it to be clean again so I guess it is a stain). Very spacious though. Very close to nature.

It's a hike”
You need service in and out of the hotel as it is located on the top of a hill and it is a drag if you try to go there on your own. The hotel room is spacious but not super clean/updated as there are water-damaged marks on the ceiling as well as cob webs. The tub have orange stain in it. Very closed to nature as you will hear birds (which is lovely)and bugs everywhere so better closed the door asap.

Good day, Mr. Michael. Thank you for taking your time writing a review for us. Karuna is NOT beachfront but instead, located on a hill just beside the highway and guests (like you and your group) were made aware of this. There is also an in-house service van that picks up/drops off the guests from and to the highway to minimize walking. We apologize if you personally think the service is lacking. However, you did not complain during your stay every time the staff checked in. Our restaurant/pool bar is just recently re-opened but you were also made aware of other food deliveries and restaurants nearby. Aircon is working properly according to staff who checked it TWICE. It is good enough to cool the room if you will just leave the doors closed. However, we are taking this in consideration and that we appreciate your comments to further improve our service. Thank you and keep safe.

Good thing nothing happened to the cAr. The FO gave us a free breakfast for one person, for the inconvenience we experienced. Thanks.

Séjour de 6 jours dans une villa avec ma femme et mon fils de 1 an. Nous avons adoré. Endroit très agréable, au calme, à flanc de colline, vue magnifique sur la baie. Proche de El Nido avec shuttle disponible à tout moment pour s'y rendre. Le personnel est incroyablement gentil et dévoué, et le restaurant propose une très bonne cuisine.
