We booked an overnight stay at the Kabayan Hotel for a family of four after we watched Sweeney Todd at the Theater at Solaire that afternoon. While the location is ideal as it is accessible to public transportation, we had a private vehicle at that time, and the parking space is on a first-come-first-served basis. Thankfully, we were able to get a spot, but we had to leave our key with the hotel guard and staff. The rooms are clean and cozy, and basic amenities were present (though we wish that they have water stations or complimentary water bottles in the fridge). The breakfast spread is alright, and you can order extras in case the free breakfast isn't enough for you. While there was a signage that says 'pay as you order', it wasn't that visible at first glance. We thought that the extra orders will be charged to our room number. Thankfully we were able to pay for our side orders before we left. Will definitely book for another stay in the near future.

Excellent staff, great location and great food”
This review is on behalf of my mom who stayed in the hotel as a quarantine requirement. 1) Great communication and excellent service from staff. Very friendly and accomodating. 2) mom said her room was clean especially the bathroom. 3) great breakfast which was included with room price and although outside food was not allowed(which is understandable due to covid precautions) they have delicious food you can order. 4) great location especially if you want an area near the airport Overall great experience for her 8 nights of stay

The Best "Capsule" Dorm I've ever experienced!”
If you want to save money, time as a solo traveler - the "capsule" option is highly recommended. Location is a few steps from the MRT Taft station, just beside a smaller mall (for groceries, atm, medcine (Mercury Drug) and a lot of restaurant options. the hotel has 2 dining rooms, one for setmeals (P160/set) and one for merienda buffet (149/pax). You will be given a keycard and key to your locker. The bed/pillow and blanket are not of high quality but acceptable for the price you pay. You can get your pillow, blanket, towel, slippers and toiletries inside the metal lockers with 4-5 hangers. Carry on and Medium luggage can be stored in the metal locker - so if you have very large luggage then this room is not for you. Breakfast starts at 4AM - I think the only hotel serving breakfast that early- so if you have an early morning flight you can have your quick breakfast before leaving. Transpo center is available too. I save a lot for this stay because I booked it from Agoda.

We always book this hotel every time we come to visit Philippines. Staff are all friendly. Good value of money too and near airport. It has an airport transfer which is very cheap. Clean, friendly staff and everything you might need was within reach.”
The room we stayed at was clean, and staff were very friendly. We were on a tight budget then but since many needed establishments were near we survived. There was a supermarket, fastfood and other tight-budget eateries, shops for topping up your phones, and riding public transports very much within reach.

I was amazed that this place is very clean and neat. The capsule rooms are great. Travelers have their own lockers. if you are looking for just a night or two to stay in Manila, this place is highly commendable since it is located to public transpo.

Why didn't I come here sooner?”
I know why I didn't - I always used to go to their sister hotel, Mabuhay Manor down the road, but they closed it. I wasn't disappointed in Kabayan. I found the same level of service, friendliness, good food and cleanliness. Also, they have cubicles which are great value for money if you just need a place to sleep.

Kabayan will always be my go to place whenever I go to Manila. One ride away from the airport and MOA and situated closest to MRT and LRT. Easy to check-in and even allows early check-in if availability permits which luckily for me every time I make a reservation. Food is okay as well.

Best place to stay when you need to catch an early flight”
Unlike other hotels, Kabayan serves free breakfast as early as 4am. If you are checking out earlier than this, you can take-awsy the food with only 20.00 additional feem. So, if you have an early flight to catch, you can fill in your stomach first 😂😂

I love staying in Kabayan because the hotel was very close to the airport and all the establishment. It was also closer to the baclaran church. I will always come back to this hotel wherever I am in the Philippines for holiday. This hotel is my second home.

The capsule room is so cute! Enough space for me and it is clean. The staffs were also nice and kind. They allowed me to check in before my scheduled time. The only issue i have is the bathroom shower is not working. And also I hope the breakfast meal is convertible to any other meal hehe I wasn’t able to use my coupon since I need to leave the hotel before morning.
