It is surely the best location if you want to stay in the jungle. If youre lucky you can see the monkeys and birds from the restaurant or your room. Anyways be careful about your stuff on the balkony as the monkeys clib. Really fun and helpful staff at the place, makes you feel really welcome and makes the stay comfortable! I can also reconmend their jungle tour as they do it as private tours (only your group + 2 rangers) so you can get the most out of the jungle treck and hopefully see 10 orang utans.

Dont forget it is in the jungle (no food in the room!) Maybe not the cheapest but you get a lot of value for your money!

Great location, directly across from the jungle and national park, spacious room with ventilator and mosquito net. Good option to stay over before /after jungle trekking. Helpful staff as well.

The bathroom was half open inside the room so you have a little bit of a smell. It was also slightly moldy. I think the latter is simply due to high humidity and can't be helped.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location wonderful, the arsik was delicious

Alde the young manager speaks a very good English and arranged everything for us: in and out transportation from airport and the 2 days jungle trekking. the hotel is beautiful and clean the staff is all really nice and helpful, the location is just amazing! we had a magical experience. Anto our guide for the trekking was very knowledgeable and professional, the whole experience in the jungle has been amazing. I would definitely recommend Jungle Inn.

Everything! Best of all, which is hard to choose, was the shower! Open roof so you are showering in nature! Also, the food was absolutely amazing and the staff too. Would definitely recommend!

the view is really great. especially at night. they have a lot of bench so you can leisure anytime.

Dont get me wrong. the place is quiet amazing with a great view, and the staff is very friendly. but the manager is totally ridiculous and very unprofessional. I already informed the manager, that i will booked 5 rooms for me and my collegues. and made a clear request to make our room next to each other with a direct river view. and the manager willingly agree with my request and even promise to gave us room next to each other. (they even use disappearing message setting from whatsapp so i cant capture a proof) but what i got is our rooms are far from each other. 1 is upstair, 1 downstair, and 1 room on the left corner. even at the first, one of our rooms wanted to be put at the back, but after insisting, finally got to the front which is at the left of the corner. when I asked why it didn't match with the promise they gave me, the manager said there was already a regular customer and want the front room. isn't that an unprofessional excuse. we even almost canceled all of our rooms and the manager still want to kept their 'regular customer' that even not check in yet and insist they cant give the room to us. Isn't that called a conflict of interest? no apologies at all from the manager's mouth. To be honest, I go to Bukit Lawang quite often. at least once a month. but one of my fav hotel is under renovation, so i tried to stay at the jungle inn to think that it can be my second option if i came back to Bukit Lawang again. but the first experience was so bad. please distinguish personal relationships with business. Regardless of your 'regular customer', please be professional when you promise something to a customer. i wont give you a very bad rate since your staff is really doing a great job.

Great food and great view to the river. Very nice and friendly staff. Very close to the national Park for trekking. The breakfast was very good. The selection was of course not like in a 5 star hotel ;-) But the mie goreng, nasi goreng etc. eveything was very good. The internet in the restaurant was good. We were here after COVID . Still not many tourists here.

The hot shower machine didn't working. But.....it's only problem of batt. After change the battery....it's work perfectly.

Jungle inn is quite far away, one of the last hotel on the river, so quiet compare to the other one Staff really friendly Room comfortable and clean

The location is magical. The view is stunning. The river is beautiful and tons of fun to swim in. Monkies play on the river banks. The staff are the friendliest most genuine and fun I have ever encountered. They played cards with my little boy, taught him card tricks. They had impromptu sing along a in the evenings. The food is great. The rooms are all different and all stunning. Besides the majestic river out front, there is a geourgous waterfall to the side that some of the rooms overlook too. Up there as one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed.

Wonderful staff, great food, and some of the nicest rooms in Bukit Lawang with great views over the river and into the jungle. TRAVEL TIP: Try to reserve room #2. It's two levels, has two balconies, it's own waterfall and two natural pools. Amazing!!

Great staff and location

No hot water. Room had a musky smell. Very damp because of high humidity in jungle. No wifi in room. No view.

The location is amazing. Right on the river. Most of the other guest houses don’t have the amazing unrestricted view of the jungle. The staff were the best too. We were so lucky to visit in low season so the staff had the time to sit and chat with us. Great bunch of guys who couldn’t do enough to make our stay even more special.
