I stayed at a 8 people mixed pods for 2 nights, this is my first time to visit New Zealand, thanks Jucy Snooze gave me a very good first impression of NZ. Public area/kitchen/shower room/toilet are tidy and clean. Everyone has their own private pod and electronic locker down the pod, It's Autumn time, the fan in the pod is ternary form, a bit loud, if you are not pulling down the curtain to the end, it still cool and cozy. I arrive in Christchurch Airport around 00:30am, just went to exit number 7~8, pick up the free phone press 54, it'll dial to Jucy Snooze directly! The best thing is pickup for FREE, they will instruct you the wait point. From Jucy Snooze to Christchurch city centre take purple line only 20 minutes, you can purchase the ticket from bus driver, please note: CASH only.There are a lot restaurants nearby, walkable distance, plus a big supermarket 'Countdown'. Bringing up your own earplugs, this lovely accommodation is 24HRs check-in and out.

Extremely handy for Christchurch Airport”

Pleasantly surprised with everything about the Jucy Snooze; we chose it deliberately because we had a 5am flight and didn't want to risk issues getting to the airport. Very clean and comfortable - we had a double room with ensuite - the room was small - the bed only accessible from one side. But it sufficed. Two aspects were really nice surprises; there was a whole shopping mall including a good supermarket and lots of food options just a few minutes walk away - not just a couple of fast food outlets. And the hostel itself was as good as, or probably better, than any backpackers we stayed in with well equipped communal kitchen and relaxation/lounging area. On reflection - although we thought it a but pricey we actually saved money probably as our car hire firm dropped us there and it was only a 10 minute walk to the departures lounge. Recommended for your last evening in Christchurch.

location & airport transfer location very near from airport, 10 minute walk from airport. Jucy give free airport transfer from 8am to late at night - We arrive around 12am, and after contacting Jucy, we go to outside door 9 of international airport, and wait for our turn for pickup since they are several guests waiting with big luggage. - for our return flight, since we need to checkout at 4 am and we have 4 big lugagges, we just opt for renting car from airport one day before to drive around town, then drop the car at the airport early morning Facilities facilities are okay. you got shared bathroom with hot water & dryer, shared kitchen with cooking & dining utensil. Checkout the free stuff left from other guest to save some pennies. Most guests give their leftover seasoning/food before they left Christchurch. tips: if you rent campervan D+1 after your arrival, you can go back to airport using jucy free transfer, and then switch to campervan company airport transfer.

Awesome hostel near the airport”

I chose Jucy Snooze because I had a very early flight the next morning. It's was a short 8-10 mins walk from the hostel to the airport and eventhough I had to walk alone very early in the morning, (5:50am), I did not feel afraid as the path was well lighted. The room is spacious eventhough it's for 4 and the pod was really comfortable. Each pod is individually equipped with its own light, clock, charging stations. Each pod also has its own locker large enough to store your big luggage. The shared toilet and shower had many cubicles enough for all the rooms. The toilet and shower room is so clean I didn't feel irked to use them. There is a shared kitchen and lounge area that is so cool and chill. You can meet people and make new friends here. Kitchen is also well equipped with all the kitchen utensils necessary to cook a complete meal. All in all, I'm really happy and satisfied. Good price and great place. I definitely recommend this place. Two thumbs up!!

Colorful and energy place to stay”

I really recommended this place if you reach to Christchurch in the late night. You can walk from Christchurch airport around 10 mins. Please go visit website and they already suggest the way to go. I really like the central room really large in order to our room quite small. If you booked JUCY rental car they also have a shuttle bus to go rental car location. Really easy. The location was good very near from cafe, restaurant and supermarket. If you do not mind size of the room I really recommend to book here.

Clean and close to airport ”

Rooms were sparkling clean, and was within 10-15 mins walk from the Christchurch international airport. Guess it helps that hotel is new. However price seems a bit steep for what we get. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment, but the common spaces look clean and big. Apparently you get discounts if you book a jucy hotel stay and rent their cars /take their Milford Sound tours, so don’t forget to check with the staff when making bookings under jucy.

Best Choice!”

JUCY was really the best choice for us since we have arrived at midnight, JUCY is very closed with Christchurch airport (10 mins. walking). The bathroom was very clean. I love the kitchen so I can explore my cooking skill hahaha Only one you can't control is another tourist in your room, sometimes you've met very noisy tourist but as long you in the pods, you will feel comfortable and warm :)

Handy to airport”

The Jucy Snooze is located close to the airport, international Antarctic center and the drop-off or pick up points for rentals. The accommodation is very clean and new with a very hip young person vibe about it. Being a backpackers there were laundry facilities and areas for us to leave our left-over food. It was close to restaurants and shopping centers. My only criticism was the room was very small and it had no fridge.

Perfect location for those who are taking campervans/motorhomes for your trip in New Zealand. Many companies are nearby such as Jucy, Britz, etc. So if your flight arrives late after midnight, it’s convenient to actually to stay here rather than go all the way to City centre which will cost you alot of $. Staffs are friendly. They even offer to do a wake up call because we are afraid that we miss our flight back home as it is very early morning check in! Keep it up Jucy team! The “pantry” is super huge where there is a kitchen you can cook and mingle with other guests. Overall, it is a highly recommended place to stay. Tips: if you arrived late after midnight, there is no shuttle from Jucy. Don’t take the taxi as they are really expensive and some don’t even want to take you to Jucysnooze. (It happens to us!)Walk instead. Very near. When you see COUNTDOWN supermarket go towards it and go behind the building. You will see JUCY! Thumbs up JUCYSNOOZE! You’ve been amazing!

I stay at Jucy Snooze quite regularly and in terms of location it is excellent. Also staff are mostly friendly and helpful. However my last 3 stays have been disappointing. Biggest problem is noise. Disrespectful, inconsiderate people talking outside rooms and making no effort to keep their voices down. This happens repeatedly. Like most people making use of airport accomodation, I have early flights and am trying to sleep. This is my biggest gripe and could possibly be rectified with signage in several languages. My last stay earlier this week, bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned or a poor job. Long dark hair throughout. And while I'm complaining, mattresses could do with being renewed. Theres the odd spring pinging into my back. I only tell you these issues as I would rather they be rectified and I continue to stay at Jucy. I like the place and want to continue to use it. 👍

Staff is friendly and helpful”

The staff is very helpful and friendly, nice facilities provided, very comfortable and we had a nice stay. It is near to airport, and had countdown and fastfood just beside. We wished we had more nights there and definitely will stay again if i visit Christchurch again. The only cons is it is a little far from the city. The reason we picked snooze is because we had a very early flight the next day.,

Great price for a great short stay!”

Our flight got delayed so we had to spend a night at the airport. We booked a last minute room as it is nearby the airport and the rooms are cheap. Upon arrival, checking in is very easy and fast. Staff assisted us efficiently too. The room is very clean and spacious. Plenty of space to lay out 3 luggages. Beds are comfy and clean too. Same goes for the toilet. Kitchen facility is great. The kitchen / lounge are is very very spacious and clean. We could whip up dinner quickly with no issue as all items needed are easily available. Parking fee is slightly heavy at $15/night. We ended up returning the car at the airport and then walking back to Jucy, which is about 15 mins walk. They provide shuttle service to the airport for the next morning which is very easy for us.

Perfect Location”

The place is easy to find. Just walk about 700m from the Christchurch Airport. There are some cafes and a supermarket around the hotel. If you book the car rental in Jucy also, it is perfect. They will bring you to the car rental with car, FREE! I love the kitchen with the common area, it is amazing. The male toilet was quite dirt and a bit smell when I used it before checking out at about 9am. But at night before and in the early Morning, the toilet was very good. It is worth for your money.

Short Walking Distance to Airport”

The best of this jucy snooze is the 5mins walk to airport as well as countdown hypermarket is located right beside. Superb convenient after we return car and prepare to depart on the next day.

Nothing to complain about. Your personal capsule comes with a fan and lighting that you can adjust to your liking. Kitchen is always clean and the lounging common area is spacious and well-ventilated! If you're catching a red eye in and out of Christchurch, and looking for accommodation with a convenient location, JUCY would be it =)

Never Failed Me”

Second time I stay in JUCY, I have really enjoyed it much. JUCY was really closed with COUNTDOWN supermarket, restaurant and you need to try their hammock in Play Room :) I will be back again to New Zealand next year and with my pleasure, I will choose JUCY again to stay, affordable price to transit :)

Close to Airport and Convenient”

We stayed at Jucy on our last night as our flight was early in the morning. The building is clean and new. Walking distance to Countdown (supermarket), restaurants, chemist, ATM, McDonalds and KFC. I love the common area. There's a coffee vending machine. Laundry is $4 per cycle, you can buy detergent for $2 with reception. We stayed in a Twin Share Room with it's own bathroom, it's small compared to hotel rooms but it's all we needed. There was enough shower pressure, USB chargers located, there's TV, bed and sheets were comfortable. The walk from the hotel to airport was about 10 minutes.

Good and Clean Accommodation nearby hotel”

Definitely worth for the money. It was so convenient and near to Christchurch airport if you have your flight in the next morning. After our first night of stayed in NZ, my friends and I decided to book it again on the last day of our stay after the end of our road trip and return to Christchurch. Unfortunately, there was only pod available for our last day stay but we were impressed with the pod as well. There was free shuttle service to send us to airport as well. Great service.
